So, a coup was staged to declare this year's New Year's Eve party a rockabilly-themed event and I have no idea how to dress. I looked around a bit, but no one seems to agree what rockabilly style really is. (Is there some kind of old stuff/new wave divide going on?) Which makes it on the other hand rather easy, but I figure I should still get some input.
What I have:
A black polo shirt. Combine it with suspenders?
I accidentally got a haircut that should make it easy enough to pull off a similar hairstyle to this guy (http://www.gq-magazin.de/mode-stil/frisuren/starschnitt-der-rockabilly-style) with some practice. Judging from that photo, a jeans shirt would also be approbriate?
I'm thinking of getting some sunglasses (http://8ballwebstore.com/menseyewear.aspx), if I can get my hands on some cheap ones.
What I'm completely undecided about are trousers and shoes. Any other accessory I should know about?
