Alright so if I combined the two following examples of the same creature do you still think it matches the highest CR of that creature given?
CR 2 Leprechaun (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/fey/leprechaun)
CR 4 Leprechaun (3rd Party) (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/fey/leprechaun-TOHC)
Basically think of it like a gestalt, combining the strongest aspects of each to the other. Within Reason of course.
