I am looking at making a Barbarian/Druid Hybrid. I like the flavor of divine magic mixed with physical strength. I am just curious what everyone thinks on the best route to approach this kind of hybrid, feats and when and where to take druid and barbarian levels. Starting at level 1 with barbarian. All pathfinder books available. The DM is pretty informal, if there is a will there is a way. Thanks for the input.

I'd focus on trying to combine Rage and Wild Shape.
So a focus on Natural Weapons would be good.
It'll take a bit to get up to speed, but has potential.

Shaping Focus (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/shaping-focus) can help here (eventually).

A variety of Natural Attacks can be gained while Raging:
Animal Fury (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian/rage-powers/paizo---rage-powers/animal-fury-ex) > Bite
Lesser Beast Totem (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian/rage-powers/paizo---rage-powers/beast-totem-lesser-su) > 2 Claws
Lesser Fiend Totem (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian/rage-powers/paizo---rage-powers/fiend-totem-lesser-su) > Gore
(note: you can only have 1 set of "totem" powers (http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1g1#v5748eaic9qdf), so cannot take both Claws and Gore)
Choose whichever attacks your preferred Wildshape form does NOT have (because you can't Bite twice (http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1fn#v5748eaic9n88) if you only have one mouth).

If between Wildshape and Rage you have a good variety of attacks, then Elemental Rage Lesser and 'normal (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian/rage-powers/paizo---rage-powers/elemental-rage-su)' can help give a boost.
The normal version gives ALL of your attacks a constant 1d6 [element] damage while Raging (the Lesser version is a Swift Action that only lasts 1 round, and can only be used once per Rage).

Another option is to focus a little more on your Animal Companion, for this the Mad Dog (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian/archetypes/paizo---barbarian-archetypes/mad-dog) archetype could be handy. You do lose about half your Rage Powers this way though.
