Trying to remember: Gaze attack that forces true form, suppresses enchantments.

I'm trying to remember where I read about this particular gaze attack - obviously I could just remember a beholder and his antimagic cone but iirc it was a different creature.

Hmmm. There are a handful of unusual gaze attacks among celestials. This one sounds kind of archon-ish. I'd start by checking out BoED, maybe the Throne Archon. I'm trying to think of something anti-shapechanger...not coming up with much, but maybe it's a lawful creature. Deception-piercing gaze sounds lawful.

Maybe there is a monster filter somewhere online that can help you? Also, is this 3.x or PF, cause that will make a big difference in who shows up to answer.
