It's me or the Order is getting a very good amount of the bad's guy weapons (And XP)?

Tarquin already lost his great-axe http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0862.html (probably picked by the Order), the whip http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0931.html (probably picked by Blackwing & V) and his dagger http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0934.html, all of them are weapon's choices of a (probably) (low-)epic character.

(don't forget Malack's staff)
Even Laurin seem to have lost items http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0935.html

So, all this encounter with Elan's dad could result on a very useful upgrade to almost everyone or a good loot.

None of the Order uses Great Axes, though. Haley already has a magic dagger from Crystal. Belkar might use it the dagger. The whip has a similar problem to the axe. Nobody would be able to use it.

The Ioun Stone though, is extremely helpful to V.

Elan can use it, he is a bard.

Thats.... actually a really awesome image. Elan swinging around like Indiana Jones.

If anything, they can always sell the axe and the whip and buy something they'd actually need.

And let's also not forget the wands that Haley got from Z (which isn't Team Tarquin, but still fits into the overall theme of our heroes getting loot from their enemies this arc).

Hmm...When you put it that way, isn't it just what adventurers do anyway?

The most interesting thing is the Ioun Stone Blackwing stole. www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Ioun_Stone

It was Orange. Dear god, one of the best, +1 caster level.

I seem to remember multiple people in the Order yelling at Roy for failure to keep a backup weapon.

True but Elan lost his Rapier (http://http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0934.html). It would be very in keeping with the whole Luke/Vader theme that Tarquin and Elan have going for Elan to start using Tarquin's dagger after this battle.

Actually, one of the official avatars on the forums (FighterGuy) looks like Roy with a greataxe... now that's a cunning foreshadowing!

Keep greataxe, Tarquin's Helmet of changingness, whip, Ioun stone, wands, Knife of Nale-killing, yeah, good.

The order should have more hats, anyway.

You know that dagger dropping from Tarquin hands is a foreshadow for sure. My guess is Elan picking it up and probably attacking Tarquin with it, maybe in a one-on-one duel to get him off their back without killing him for good.

I wonder if Durkon lost his hammer, or maybe threw it away because it was a magic weapon made for a Thor priest?

Well, Thog uses a greataxe :)
Forshadowing of him joining the order?

(Elan Voice) Dun Dun Dun....

I actually noticed the amount of stuff the order is picking up. It's especially weird considering Tarquin offered the order multiple items and they constantly refused them from him. So they happen to just tkae it anyway.

It's also possible that they took stuff from the deceased Kobold.

I know that jokes have been done in-strip about conservation of detail, but it would still be mildly annoying if they pull that enormous axe out of hammerspace. I hope it got left behind in the pyramid.

Haley has a bunch of bags of holding (http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Bag_of_Holding), I don't think that would be annoying at all. The Order does have a few hundred cubic feet of hammerspace.

Not as annoying as leaving a weapon that valuable behind! That would just be unthinkable!

Where did the greataxe go? It's still there where it was thrown, just not being shown for economy.

If you know what I mean.

I would find, "After a successful battle, the Order, including the Order member known as Haley Starshine and her trademark all-purpose greed, did not pause to loot, leaving what was quite possibly a highly enchanted axe lying on the dungeon floor," rather...implausible. Though the axe's continued role in the story may be limited to a line something like :haley: "I sold off the loot we got from Tarquin."

Yeah, OK, "Pulled out of a bag of holding" is much better than "I was openly carrying it all along and only now the audience can see it again."

That's what I had thought too.

I've assumed all along that Haley put T's axe in her bag of holding. She probably also put Nale's sword (which we last see here (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0860.html)) in it. But it would make a good backup weapon for Roy, so maybe he has it. He didn't pull it out when he was temporarily swordless in the last battle, which may indicate he doesn't have it. Still, it's not something you leave lying around in the dungeon, so it's likely in Haley's BoH.

As for Durkon's hammer, he could have picked it up. Some weapons are shown when the character has them but is not wielding them, but his hammer is not one of them. Just because it's not shown explicitly that he picked it up does not mean he abandoned it. In the same battle, Belkar dropped his knives and didn't explicitly pick them up, yet he has them now.
