I'm looking at golmoid race (for those of you unfamiliar with them, they can be found in Dragon 317) and I really like them. They're similar to the warforged... but they aren't living constructs, why is that? If I understood what was read, they're living rock people that gained sentience and it's got me baffled :smallsigh:
One of my players is fairly interested in them but the +1LA makes them unplayable at the moment - do they deserve that LA and if they do, what could be done to reduce it?
Are they capable of reproduction? They've got genders and there's mention of marriage in their block.
How would they get along with warforged? As stated earlier, they are fairly similar to one another and the idea of the two being in the same party with one another seems pretty cool.
Where can more information for this race, if any, be found? We (me and my group) would really like to learn more about them.
