[3.5] Is there a way to get an EX ability?

Hey, im playing bard 10 sublime chord 3 and i need to boost my HP.
there is an EX ability called unholy toughness (sandstorm p.158) and i really want it.
is there a spell or magic item that can give me that? i don't want to take more then 1 level to get this.

I don't think that ability is meant for PCs. You might want to try the improved toughness feat instead.

Does it have to be Unholy Toughness or will another method of gaining Cha to HP work?

1. Improved Toughness [Feat].

2. If GM allows retraining, take Mind Over Body (Player's Guide to Faerun 3.5 [Regional Feat]). Use Cha or Int to determine bonus HP on 1st level, and gain 1 bonus HP for each Metamagic feat. If you're an Arcane Caster, you gain +1 Insight to AC.

3. False Life [Spell].

4. Of course, any item that enhances Constitution (duh).

5. Unholy Toughness is viable if you decide to become a Dry Lich. Only a +5 LA. :smalltongue: (I don't think you can get magic items that replicate abilities like that).

Beauty's Bounty (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/fey/20030815a) is similar to Mind Over Body, but requires you to be a fey.

It's doable but it's going to mean eating a LA or creating a little fondue.

our campaign will end at lvl 15 so taking feats is not an option as it will happen only almost at the end, and now im lvl13 so it will take too much time for me to get to level 15 anyway.
GM is not allowing re-train.
False Life is a start, my HP will still be very low but if i can use many spells like this one it might help.
any method to boost my HP will work, but i have 31 Cha, so Cha to HP might be the most efficient way.

as i said, we only have 2 levels left so if i can become dry lich without being WitW10 before, or getting this ability for other LA cost i will be happy to hear it :smallbiggrin:
(and creating a little fondue might work as well so teach me how please :smalltongue:)

Become Necropolitan, use PF's rules for undead HP. This will also boost your Fort Saves.

If you have necromancy spells and are level 13, why not just use Magic Jar to grab a form and hit points that are more useful?

hmm sounds good, but i dont know where will i be able to find a form with more hit points or how will i be able to carry it around with the party or make sure it wont succeed in her will save...

any ideas?
