Our GM has been throwing beholders at us a lot lately. Our main enemy has a bunch of them teaming up with him. With many casters in the group, this is especially debilitating.
I'm the group's bard (bard 10 /sublime chord 2/heart fire fanner 1); my main role is in buffing/debuffing and going in to melee when required.
I read someplace that bardic music effects are not dispelled or suppressed by a beholder's anti magic field. But I can't recall where I read that. And I can't find it again. I hope it's true, but fear that I'm misremembering or misinformed.
Can anyone confirm that this is true? Ideally, can you point me to something I can show the GM to prove it?
Related question, if it's not true:
if buffs to allies normally will keep functioning for 5 rounds after they stop hearing me sing, does the buff stop immediately to those allies in the AMField, or after 5 rounds?
Thanks in advance!
