I want to create a campaign with many different and unique creatures and one I want to havethe protection from the sun spell. The one that Malack used please I would like the specifics. Also I would like any other spells that are custom made.

The only "specifics" are those in the comic. You read the same comic we do, clearly, so you have as much information as we do on the custom spells used. What exactly do you expect from this thread?

First thing is probably an estimate I have never made a custom spell before so I don't have a clue. The second is some other custom like an arcane version of resurrection. Also what components would be.

If you want help with homebrewing spells, we have a forum (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=15) for that.

This is the arcane equivalent of ressurection: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/clone.htm

Pathfinder has a cantrip that offers protection from penalties/blindness caused by bright light. Even assuming the Vampire requires a higher level ability for their protection, it wouldn't be a lot higher then that. Granted, the OoTS vampires don't suffer near immediate destruction in sunlight that normal d20 vampires do (though that one's justifiable for dramatic effect).

I'd figure probably a second level spell for hour/level protection.

It seems about equivalent to Death Ward, through more restricted in scope. That would suggest a level 4 slot, with more duration than Death Ward (since the base effect is weaker due to being less applicable).

I already thought of that but you need a certain amount of flesh. Because of the body gets disintegrated then the spell won't work.

Use stasis clone instead; it's not core, unfortunately.

An OotS "Protection from Daylight" spell already exists, though it's pretty restrictive. The spell "Cloak of Dark Power" from the Spell Compendium is an Abjuration which lasts for one minute/level. It creates a dusky haze which protects the user from the effects of sunlight. It is the first level spell of the Drow domain, which means only Clerics with the Drow domain can cast it, but you could either persuade the DM to put it on the list of any Darkness-based domain, or "research" it on your own. I suggest getting a custom magic item of it, like an Amulet of Cloak of Dark Power (or a Cloak of Cloak of Dark Power. Sup dawg, I heard you like cloaks...) which would cost 2000 (base price for continuous effect)*1 (spell level)*1 *(caster level)*2 (modifier for minute/level durations)=4000 gold. Pocket change for most mid-to-high level characters, especially a vampire.

That cool and also the first post I said I am creating my own campaign I will be putting whatever I want and also I am going to be the DM so the permission will not be a problem.

Maybe base it on Endure Elements?

The cantrip version isn't really considered "official" though (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/rare-cantrips#Disclaimer), unlike Protective Penumbra (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/p/protective-penumbra), which does the same things and slightly more, but is a level 2 spell. It's also available to more classes than the cantrip.

Night's Mantle is a 4th-level spell from Lords of Darkness. It's on the normal cleric list, and lasts 10min/level.

My word, how have I always missed that? Well, Lords of Darkness isn't the most frequently-discussed book (and if it is being talked about, it's usually for Zhentarim Skymage) so I forgive myself. But yeah, that's a lot better. Feels more thematic, no telltale signs (like the smokey cloud of Cloak of Dark Power), and 4th level is a fairer level than 1st. And a good duration, though you'd still probably want either an item of it or to have it Persisted (via Ocular Spell I guess).
