I was planning on Playing a Pixie warlock, but I can't decide if warlock is really the class I want. I like the infinite use abilities, but Warlock is so restrictive...

I'll probably be the party face (the rest of the party is two tanky warriors and an illusionist), especially because I have such high charsima.

I would play an Incarnate, but alignments can be even worse (though a chaotic incarnate is supposed to be a ranged attack specialist...

I would play a binder, but I don't want to deal with some of that class' complications.

What should I do?

With that party make up, I would probably roll a Cleric or Druid for buffing and healing to round out the party.

If you are wanting to stick with your three options, then I would go with a Binder for the flexibility. If you are starting off at a low level, make a different character sheet for 3-4 different binds. Each day you can pick which one you want to use, then just use that character sheet.

I was planning on wands and UMD for the healing, actually. Saves the boringness of a Cleric.

Have you read the Pixie Handbook (http://community.wizards.com/forum/previous-editions-character-optimization/threads/1240341)? Or Trixie the Pixie Party Booster (http://community.wizards.com/forum/previous-editions-character-optimization/threads/1819916)?

The spontaneous conversion thing is just a nifty thing to have access to, in case you really need a healing spell on the spot. It's not much of a role defining thing. The same goes for druids, who shouldn't be prepping much healing beyond cure minor wounds. Healing as a cleric or druid is basically just like healing as a different class, except you don't need UMD to work the wand, and you can cure status effects when they come up. In conclusion, if your perception of clerics as pure healers was what was driving you away from the class, then it's a thing that might be worth rethinking. Also druids, cause druids are awesome.

I know, but my plan is to play a party composed entirely of nontraditional characters, plus the illusionist, because that's new for me.
