Iames nods to Randan, then to Aesa. Yes. Can I ask you something about that?

Aesa sighs. I was about to show this illithid a lesson... She walks over to join Iames. Very well. What?

My mummy is the bestest!

The little girl skips to the door.

My Dolly! Nori, you ok?

She hugs the dolly to her chest and leaves.

[McBish]

Finn smiles at the child and her doll. Well there you go.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Well, Vera's having memory issues, as I expected. I was wondering if you could tell me more about them, like if they'll come back by themselves, or at all.

[Kyral]

Kyral raises his glass in greeting to Pelgof and takes a sip of it. "G'day."

[Nevrmore]

"I haven't partaken in any of your disgusting females lately, thrall." Descartes says with a snarl, "At least, I don't think so. You all aren't really important enough to all commit to memory."

[Meynolds]

Chance returned and immediatly made his way to the bald red robed man, and asks again...

Hi, I don´t believe I've seen you before. You have a name?

[Timberwolf]

Still cloaked, Nightstar sets the LSW on the bar and aims it at Descartes, holding fire until the Illithid makes any kind of aggressive move that Aesa won't be able to handle.

[Xaspian]

Pelgof quietly observes the other people around the tavern. So different to what he's used to...

He shakes his head, out of confusion more than anything else.

[McBish]

Finn gets up and walks over to Descartes and smiles.

[AmberVael]

Aesa frowns. They have not come back already? She ignores Descartes, bored of him.

[Nevrmore]

Descartes looks at Finn, squinting.

"You're uglier than I remember."

Alena plays her harp quietly, as Alex listens.

[McBish]

Probably because last you saw me you were looking through shark eyes right?

[DarkHunter]

Randan looks at Chance

My name is Randan.

[Lord Iames Osari]

They hadn't last night, he corrects himself. I haven't seen her yet this morning.

[Kyral]

Kyral raises his eyebrow and assumes that Pelgof didn't hear him, saying a little louder, "G'day."

[Nevrmore]

"I haven't the foggiest of what you're talking about, but my good friend Lord Sharkenheim has told me about you. He didn't mention how repugnant you were."

[AmberVael]

I see... how did she react when she saw you?

[McBish]

Nah I think that was you. Mainly since that is what that whole court case thing is about. Now, didn't you bite my leg?

[Meynolds]

I'm just curious, but why have you been taking notes on what's going on in the Tavern?

[DarkHunter]

Randan shrugs

My master sent me here to do just that. It is a simple enough assignment: to sit in a tavern and keep notes. I wish they were all so easy.

[Nevrmore]

"Hey, buddy, there's no proof that I was controlling my good buddy Sharkenheim. And he says he bit you because you were being a jackass."

[Lord Iames Osari]

I see... how did she react when she saw you?

She barely recognized me, Iames tells her quietly.

[McBish]

I was just offering to take a shark back to the ocean. And at the moment your the one being a jackass. And I came over here to ask you to shut up.

[Nevrmore]

"How ironic that you ended up carrying on a conversation with me? You meatbags are so easily confused in your endeavors."

[Meynolds]

I know what you mean.

He sighs and asks for a Wizard Blizzard, Fireball.

[AmberVael]

Then I would say she is suffering from more than being in Valhalla. Aesa sips her wine.

[McBish]

Yeah I reckon I am. So ya going to shut up? Or do you want to step outside.

[DarkHunter]

Randan finishes his drink, and orders another.

[Nevrmore]

"Why? Seeking to reaffirm your manliness? Huh, is that it? Females find you inadequate so you seek to comfort yourself by picking fights in a seedy little bar in a backwaters town?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames's eyes widen a bit at that pronouncement, then narrow. Do you have any ideas as to the nature of what else might be affecting her?

Pelgof leaves the Tavern.

[wxdruid]

Alena continues to quietly play as she listens to what is going on around her.

[AmberVael]

Aesa yawns and shakes her head. Nope.

[McBish]

Finn smiles. Something like that. Really I just want to know what it feels like to rip you out of that mans skull.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Drake finishes his drink and decides to take a walk. He pays for the wine and leaves the Tavern.

[Nevrmore]

"I guess it'd feel pretty similar to whenever I rip someone's brain out of theirs."

[Kyral]

Kyral shrugs and watches Pelgof leave, listening silently to the music.

[McBish]

Finn shakes his head. He checks to see if there are any officers around.

[wxdruid]

Alena plays a song of her sorrow and her inability to find Jovah in the skies above Town.

[darnin]

Darnin sits back and orders another drink.

[McBish]

McBish and Natalie come in through the mirror and sit down at the bar. Natalie seems upset about something.

Finn shrugs. And goes to sit at a table by the fire.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aesa yawns and shakes her head. Nope.

Iames sighs. Oh, well. I'll just try to take a look later. Thank you, Aesa.

[AmberVael]

Aesa nods and yawns again, then teleports back to her tower.

[McBish]

McBish nods to Iames poiletly.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Hello, McBish. What's up?

[darnin]

Darnin yawns and grabs another beer, going nearly unnoticed by all but Cosmo, who is annoyed at getting him all the drinks.

[McBish]

McBish shrugs, I'm dying again. Natalie closes her eyes and squeezes his hand.

[The_Librarian]

The librarian returns to the tavern and heads straight for the bar.

[Timberwolf]

Nightstar unloads her gun and puts it back in her bag. she then comes out from behind the bar and drops her shadow cloak.

[DarkHunter]

Randan watches the Librarian enter, then resumes not doing anything.

[Veg Sorbet]

Anna enters through the mirror from Inari's, and heads towards the bar. She hands back a room key, and orders a salad and jug of water.

[The_Librarian]

The librarian notices the stranger, orders her liquer and then looks at him.

"Hello there," she says to Randan.

[Kyral]

Kyral nods to the Librarian and looks around the Tavern.

[DarkHunter]

Randan looks at the Librarian

Hello.

[darnin]

Darnin begins considering his options for getting money once he runs out of the funds he came with.

[The_Librarian]

"Don't think we've met, have we?" she asks Randan. "What brings you here?"

[wxdruid]

Alena leans her head against the soundboard on her harp as she starts to play a slow love song.

[DarkHunter]

Randan shakes his head

No, we have not: as I have not been here before. I am here to observe the people in the tavern. I am looking for a few in particular, such as Aesa and Iames, and seeing how they interact with others.

[Lord Iames Osari]

McBish shrugs, I'm dying again. Natalie closes her eyes and squeezes his hand.

It recurred, did it? He nods to the mirror. I assume the clerics of Inari couldn't do anything?

[McBish]

McBish nods. They gave me something for the pain. I don't think anyone can do anything. His voice is flat.

[The_Librarian]

The librarian looks surprised.

""Seeing how they interact with others"? That's certainly a stranger quest than I've heard in a while. Why?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

I'm sorry to hear that. Do you have a patron deity?

[DarkHunter]

Randan shrugs

I imagine Alton will analyze my notes and come up with amazing insights on their strengths and weaknesses, and how best to avoid having them interfere with our plans.

[McBish]

Anna's salad arrives, and she takes it over to a table. She finds herself wandering towards Val's favourite spot, then stops herself, and takes the first empty table she finds. She sits down and toys with the salad for a while, suddenly no longer as hungry, as a twinge of homesickness hits her for the first time in several days.

[The_Librarian]

Randan shrugs

The librarian frowns.

"Is that so?" She looks at Iames, then back at Randan.

That doesn't sound good... Iames is the good guy after all...

"I'd best bid you goodnight, sir," she says, her tone falsely bright. "Things to do-" People to warn.

She hurries out of the tavern.

Randan shrugs as Libris leaves

Bye.

No, I never really got around to picking one of those. Why?

Because a patron deity can lay claim to a worshipper's soul when they die, which means that your soul would go to that deity's realm when you died. Then, depending on what that deity thought of you, you might be rewarded or punished in some way.

For example, if you chose me as your patron deity, I would probably bind your soul to a new celestial being, which would allow you and Natalie to remain together even after death.

Descartes yawns, stretching his host body.

[McBish]

Huh. That is odd. I guess I hadn't really thought about that. Maybe some god has already claimed my soul though.

[DarkHunter]

Randan picks idly at the spells woven onto the bar.

Heh: Fenric's usual sloppy work. OOhh... he used the standard form of "protection from fire". He knows that's vulnerable...

[darnin]

Darnin weighs the pros and cons of standing up and leaving, then shrugs and orders a beer.

[DarkHunter]

Randan boredly picks apart one square inch of Fenric's spell and changes it slightly: Protection from Fire becomes Protection from Extinguishing.

[Lord Iames Osari]

It is possible, Iames admits. There's no way to really know for certain until you die.

[McBish]

Well than I guess I'll find out soon. Natalie gives him a mean look. Sorry.

Iames nods. I suppose so.

[McBish]

Listen Iames I want to thank you for healing me before. It gave me some time that I'm glad I had. He smiles over at Natalie.

[darnin]

Darnin grabs another beer and a steak to go along with it, and begins to gaze thoughtfully at the ceiling.

[Lord Iames Osari]

You're welcome. I can tell that your feelings for each other are deep, and I'm happy to have been able to help them grow.

[McBish]

Well if I'm going to die soon, Natalie hits his arm. Hey don't hit the dying man. Lets go take a walk. Natalie sighs "Ok." See you around Iames. The two of them stand up and head out the door.

[Destro_Yersul]

Destro pops into existence. Hello. He sits at a random table and orders a fireamber. he scratches his head with one arm, finds his money with one arm, and counts out the coins with his other arm. Hey, wait a minute... Two of the arms start being one arm shortly after he notices that he has the wrong number.

Even the cold-hearted Randan feels momentarily sorry for McBish and Natalie.

He looks over at Destro in a bit of surprise, what with a shifting number of appendages and all.

[darnin]

Darnin notices the arm count going wrong, and figures it's just a lack of inspiration on the part of the player. Whatever that means.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames sits, wondering how other people stand having nothing to do all the time.

[Destro_Yersul]

Did I just... Destro shakes his heads. Don't answer that. One of the heads has red eyes and no metal plate.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex absentmindly summons another lager and looks around the tavern briefly.

[Kyral]

Kyral turns to face Destro with a raised eyebrow. "Gods...this place just gets weirder by the minute..."

[DarkHunter]

Randan shrugs, being a "metagaming defense" rather than doing nothing.

Then his player goes off to dinner, so he actually does nothing.

[Destro_Yersul]

Yes, it does, doesn't it? I rather like it that way. There is now a third head for some reason. It's wearing a helmet. The mirror in the corner of the tavern goes cloudy, and the third head vanishes as quickly as it appeared.

[darnin]

Darnin turns to face Destro. Is it even possible for things to get weirder anymore?

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames disappears.

[Destro_Yersul]

It probably is. The two heads merge back into one, and Destro's soul starts being in his body. It's not supposed too, but it does anyways.

[Ms_Elaneous]

There is a loud thump as a large suit of armor rips open the door and it claps against the side of the building. Thankfully, the door remains on its hinges, although for a moment it didn't look like they would withstand it.

The small girl on the giant's shoulders tilts her head and offers a little advice, "Perhaps a little less force the next time, umkay?"

The armor shifts his floating eyes under the chainmail hood, looking across at her, "Duly noted, my lady." He nods affirmatively.

[darnin]

Darnin looks at the figures in the doorway, then back at Destro.

Yeah, you're probably right.

Alena lifts her head from the soundboard of her harp and looks over at Alex, she smiles at him, happy to have him next to her.

[Ms_Elaneous]

"Evander, let's go to the regular spot," the girl directs him to a particular set of stools near the bar.

Evander, as the armor is called, begins to work his way towards the indicated spot. "My lady, I insist you order and consume more than just a drink today. I don't believe you've partaken in a meal in quite a few hours."

"Alright, alright. I'm kind of hungry in any event."

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex smiles at Alena "Hey you, having fun playing?"

[McBish]

McBish and Nataile come back inside. McBish seems to be leaning on Natile who is looking at him with worry in her eyes. They take a seat at the bar.

Alena strokes her harp lovingly, I always enjoy music and playing my harp.

[DarkHunter]

Randan looks at Ms E and Evander, and makes notes.

[Destro_Yersul]

Destro uses three arms to wave at the armour. the fourth picks up his drink. Then all but the drink holding one cease to exist. Damn it, this is getting annoying.

[Alex Shipmaster]

"The way you play it's a wonder to hear" Alex frowns slightly "But there are complete asses around with no taste in music"

[McBish]

Did that guy just have 4 arms and now has one? "Yes." Oh good thought I was seeing things.

[darnin]

Hm, lot's of people here...

Darnin turns back to his drink.

[DarkHunter]

Randan writes "Destro: located" in his notes.

He looks up from his slow writing, then goes back and writes "Alex, too"

[Destro_Yersul]

That makes it interesting, at least. Something spiky and human shaped falls through the mirror. Destro gets his second arm back. It brings a third leg with it.

[McBish]

McBish smiles as he hears the music. Natalie smiles seeing him smile.

Darnin notices Destro fluxuating, and looks around in his bag for a pencil and his notebook.

[Ms_Elaneous]

Evander watches the man making notes while the girl, Ms Elaneous, orders, "Hm... Velvet Elfish? Sounds tasty. I love chips and cheese. I'll have an order of that. With a... hm that sounds tasty... Fox Cola to drink."

[Destro_Yersul]

The spiky human shaped thing stands up and smiles. He looks exactly like Destro, except less intelligent and with both eyes. He walks over to Randan. Hi! I like swords. Destro looks at him. Oh, shock...

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex half closes his eyes and smiles, listening to the music

[darnin]

(("I like swords"...Please no.))

Darnin pulls out his pencil and notebook, glances at Destro, writes some stuff down, and then sits back to enjoy the music.

[DarkHunter]

Randan looks up at Evander's noticing of him, and smirks.

Do you like swords? I had a good idea about swords. See, if you tie two swords together, you get sword-chucks, doubling the awesomeness! Destro puts his head in his hands. Why now?

Alex continues to smile at the music, and hums along to it

Overhearing the spiky. . . thing, Meynolds laughs at the idea. He walks over.

But how would you control these, you called them, "Sword-chuks"?

Alex glances briefly to fighter the person talking to Randan and narrows his eyes slightly. He then turns back to Alena, he smiles and taps his foot along to the beat of the music.

Randan sips his drink and wonders if he accidentally stopped over at the cross-time cafe by accident.

That's the extra great part! You hold the swords by the part that isn't sharp and swing them around. Then the sharp part hits the things that scream and bleed. Isn't that a great idea? Fighter mDestro grins and Destro grabs six and a half DLBs from the bar. He starts drinking them rapidly. He can't hurt me if I'm too drunk to pay attention. Must.. get.. drunk.. With his soul inexplicably there he seems to be managing it quite well.

Alena repeats the song, increasing the difficulty. Her fingers flying over the strings.

[McBish]

McBish watches her play and shakes his head. I feel outclassed.

[Meynolds]

Chance tries to strike mDestro with the hilt of his sword, trying to stop him before Destro goes insane.

[DarkHunter]

Randan shakes his head at fightermDestro and actually enjoys the song. Then he glares at the fourth wall

Don't you dare try to reform me!

Alex smiles and leans back, sipping his drink.

As Ms Elaneous begins eating her Trogtilla chips she notices Evander watching Randan. "What are you looking at, Evander?"

Evander contines to watch the man, "That person in the corner. He is writing things."

"Since when was literacy a bad thing?" she jests. However, Evander doesn't exactly catch the humour.

Darnin gets up and walks over to ((*cough cough*)) mDestro.

An interesting idea. Care to demonstrate?

Alena sits back from her harp and thinks for a moment. She casts a spell and a violin and bow appear in her hands. She smiles and scoots back from her harp. She quickly tunes the 4 strings and starts to play (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pe-MIDDfckw).

Dexavar, under his usual alias, steps through a portal. He sits at the bar and orders a Level Up Liquer.

[Destro_Yersul]

Ow! mDestro gets hit in the head. Hey, you didn't stick the sharp part in me. Most people use the sharp part. You're my friend! Sure, I'll demonstrate. mDestro takes four swords off his belt. Each pair of swords is attached at the hilt by a length of chain. Destro is completely sloshed by this time. Shtoopid grumblemumble crazshy man. He doesn't notice the addition of two arms.

[McBish]

McBish summons up a guitar into his hands but he doesn't play it.

[AmberVael]

Elya comes into the tavern, leading Shea by the hand.

[McBish]

Shea smiles as he takes a seat.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex grins, he opens his eyes and looks solely at Alena

[DarkHunter]

Randan mocks

That person in the corner... is writing things... silly construct.

[AmberVael]

Elya sits down and looks around. She waves to Destro.

[Meynolds]

((Is mDestro considered human or monster?))

Very interesting. Hold Person. Can you wield those well?

He lowers his sword into a more defensive position.

((I can't come to the computer until 3:30PM EST tomorrow unfortunatly.))

[McBish]

Shea gets a hot chocolate and sips it.

McBish and Natalie watches Meynolds and mDestro warily.

[darnin]

Darnin raises an eyebrow at mDestro.

So, those are your "Sword-chucks"? They look a little dangerous...

Evander continues to watch the man intently. Ms E notices and tilts her head, "Well, you wanna go talk to him? You're not gonna give it up until you do, huh?"

"I do not necessarily wish to speak with this person. But I do want to keep my eyes on him." Evander's eyes narrow a little bit.

[Destro_Yersul]

((He's human. His will save is also ridiculously high, because he's too stupid to know that something will affect him. This warps the universe in a way that causes it to not affect him))

Destro waves back, a little confusedly. Lo. mDestro grins. Sword-Chucks, yo. Then he spins the swords, catching the hilts of each sword in his other hand. Blades fly in all directions, mDestro somehow managing not only to not hit himself, but to not hit anything else either. Around, back, forwards, the air around him is filled with whirling swords.

[AmberVael]

Elya scoots back a little and puts up a defensive wall of force around her in case the swords fly at her.

Alena smiles a little at Alex as she finishes and starts on Autumn (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxXUqWVIPAc&mode=related&search=). She closes her eyes as she plays, listening solely to the notes she's playing.

Darnin takes a few steps back and gets ready to duck for cover.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex glances again at mDestro, he puts up a transparent wall between mDestro and Alena. He then turns to Alena and listens to the music.

[Ms_Elaneous]

Evander takes a break from watching Randan to place himself in between Ms Elaneous and the probable path of the sword chucks.

[Fus.Weapon 1337]

Ark can be seen in the corner, surrounded by half-eaten cookies, and many glasses of grape juice. He is curled up in the fetal position, rocking back and forth, quietly sobbing.

[Destro_Yersul]

mDestro whirls the swords around like a windmill. He's surprisingly good at using this admittedly dangerous method of fighting. Anything near enough to actually hit him would be severely mangled by the spinning swords. Destro looks over at him. How many shordsh is he uushing anywaysh?

[AmberVael]

Elya shakes her head.
Too many to be safe?

[Fus.Weapon 1337]

Ark suddenly screeches: THE VOICES! GET THEM OUT OF MY HEAD!! SOMEBODY, PLEASE HELP!!!, before resuming rocking and crying.

Alena finishes the first movement and begins to play the second one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltogzSmXVQw&mode=related&search=). She is completely immersed in playing the song.

[McBish]

Shea looks over at the guy in the corner and points him out to Elya.

[Rebonack]

Regiji suddenly begins to be in the tavern. His DQF array is apparently having some trouble, as three goose feather pillows and a porcupine materialize along with him. He appears uncomfortably close to the spinning blades of deathful doom.

The pillows are instantly rent apart in a blizzard of feathers while the porcupine ceases to exist, fortunately for it. Regiji takes at least three blows before he manages to scramble back, the steel weapons smashing into his barrier with a hail of sparks and a spray of silvery ichor.

Regiji stumbles back, blinking at the gash across his chest.

"Eerr... that could have gone better..."

[darnin]

Darnin manages to wrench his attention away from the flurry of swords long enough to make a curious glance at Ark.

[Destro_Yersul]

Destro nods drunkenly. I though sho. Then he discovers that he is passed out on the floor, narrowly avoiding one of the swords. mDestro ceases spinning the swords around with a flourish, and puts them back on his belt. Behold the awesomeness of the sword-chucks. He walks over to the bar and orders a drink to congradulate himself.

Elya looks between Shea, the obviously insane man, and Regiji.

Alex smiles at Alena, but watches mDestro out of one corner of his eye

Darnin realizes the entire place has gone nuts and sits down and orders a drink.

[Rebonack]

Regiji concludes that the weapon wielding guy must have been pretty smashed, as he didn't notice the injury he caused. Regiji places his hand against his wound and grimaces.

"That was pretty unpleasant," he states rather matter of factly.

Stop complaining. It'll only take a few minutes to fix it.

Regiji sighs and then looks over at Elya and Shea. He waves with the hand he had put to the gash which is, at this very moment, covered in Regiji's silvery 'blood'.

"Don't worry, it isn't as bad as it looks."

[AmberVael]

Elya nods slowly.
Are you sure? I can help if you need me to.

[Ms_Elaneous]

"Oi! Regiji!" Ms E hops off of her stool and jumps around Evander. He follows closely behind her. "You're not too badly hurt are you?" Evander looks on with what appears to be mild concern as well.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex sips his drink and listens to Alena playing the music

Alena finishes Autumn and pauses to take a breath and look around. Her eyes are bright and she smiles.

[McBish]

Shea looks around at the crazy place. He raises an eyebrow at Regiji.

Randan shakes his head in despair

And they call us insane.

[darnin]

Darnin looks down at Regiji, and notices he's not in the best of shape. Then he orders another beer.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex smiles at Alena and leans over to give her a kiss on the cheek "That was awesome"

A newcomer enters the tavern, wearing an intricate rapier at his hip. He seats himself at the counter and looks around before shouting out, "Drinks on me!" He tosses a bag of gold pieces to the bartender.

[Rebonack]

Regiji seems somewhat uncomfortable with all the attention.

"No, it's fine. It'll close itself up in a few minutes at most," Regiji responds with a reassuring smile. A chair clatters across the floor and settles directly behind him. Noticing the convenient chair he sits down. "Besides, I don't think healing magic would agree with me too well."

[Fus.Weapon 1337]

McBish gets up and moves over to Alena and Alex. Natalie follows him, she seems to be ready to catch him if he starts to fall. Excuse me but I must say that was beautiful. You make me feel inadequate as a bard.

Elya shakes her head.
I use magic more often, but that does not mean I cannot do the other.

Randan looks at Regiji and makes some more notes.

Oh I play the guitar. It kept me feed when I was in a city, and gave me something to do when I got bored.

Shea reaches out to the screaming guys mind trying to gently probe it.

The scream nearly makes Darnin drop his drink. He turns to the newcomer.

Drinks, eh? Who are you?

What happened to him? Why's he screaming?

Alex frowns "I don't know..." he tilts his head at Ark and stands up, he walks towards him slowly

Alena watches Alex as she waits for McBish.

Regiji regards his tunic and the new hole in it. He sure seems to go through these things in a hurry. His body armor has already grown over the wound and he can feel it knitting back together below. Not too bad really.

He turns his attention to the yelling man. Another crazy. Nifty. Regiji makes a mental note that this is that demon guy again. He makes a side note to that note to bludgeon him over the head if he starts attacking people.

"I'm not even sure if standard mundane healing would help too much..."

Hm. Name's Darnin. I'm something of a newcomer here as well. So, what brings you here? Fame? Fortune? Some random reason no one cares about?

Not noticing Regiji's diverted attention, Ms E begins to chat, "So, how have things been going. Regiji? I hardly got to say goodbye last time we got together. I think there was a time warp or something." Evander nods.

Cayden looks over to the guitarist. "Hey you, with the guitar. Well played! It has been so long since I've heard music. Are you a dedicated musician?"

Alex frowns at Ark and goes back to Alena. He sits down besides her.

Regiji is about to respond to Miss E when he suddenly finds himself utterly distracted by the singing bovine.

He opens his mouth to say something, then closes it again as he realizes that there really isn't anything he can add to make sense of the situation.

Regiji finally decides that, for the sake of his sanity, he'll just talk with the gnome instead.

"Yeah... time is odd like that around here..." he blinks several times. The action doesn't make the singing cow go away. "Well... I helped Destro defeat some evil wizards and caught a crazy illithid that was eating people's brains. I met a nice scout from some other Realm that got dropped here accidentally. Oh, and I got a pump-action squid launcher."

And sometimes it is just an illusion of an escape. Anyways want to hear something a little more upbeat?

Darnin sits back and listens to the cow.

Ms Elaneous' eyes widen at Regiji's report. "Geez you've been busy. You should let me in on the adventures sometime if you get the chance." She winks.

Evander conceeds and gives a nod. "Although I do not like my lady being at risk, she does tend to enjoy those kinds of activities."

Alex smiles and puts his arm around Alena

Alena smiles as she listens to the song and considers how it could be changed for the harp. She tucks her violin under her arm and leans against Alex.

"Well, adventures don't seem to be in short supply around here," Regiji observes. "What have you and Evander been up to?"

Phoenixineohp walks down the stairs and takes a look around. She smiles and nods to those that she knows before she gets a drink.

Evander and Ms E look at each other. Ms E sighs. "I think we've been sleeping. Um... there was a little tiff at the Temple not too awful long ago, but I just caught the tail end of that. I can't even remember if it was before or after I met you. I feel adventure deprived to be honest, so just know I'd be happy to help any time."

The door slams open, and a grumpy-looking elf stalks in. She looks oddly at the cow for a moment, shakes her head, and walks to the bar, glancing around at everyone else. She nods to McBish, then turns to Nina.
Black Shadow, please.
Then she ignores her surroundings and proceeds to downing her drink unusually fast.

Sure. Shea stands up and looks over at crazy guy.

Alex squeezes Alena slightly, and then notices Phoenixineohp. He immediately looks away from her and turns to McBish, nodding his approval.

Elya takes Shea's hand and teleports them away.

Regiji quirks an eyebrow at the latest tavern patron and subsequently waves at Pxp in his usually friendly sort of way.

"Well... it's usually pretty hard to figure out when adventures are going to be starting, they usually just come out of nowhere."

At about this moment a completely normal looking NPC walks into the tavern. She begins going about unassuming NPC activates.

Phoenixineohp gets her drink and takes a seat. She starts to watch Alena, but it seems to be in a friendly manor.

The elf offers a small smile to McBish.
I like it.
She taps her feet to the tune.

Darnin looks at the elf, noticing a lot of people he hasn't seen before. He orders another drink.

Fydan rolls her eyes, but flips a few coins in before turning back to the bar and orfering more drinks. She then glances expectantly at Alena.

Ms E smilesat Regiji, "I know, but if you do get the chance... Anyway, care to sit down for a drink or something?"

Evander nods, "I believe we both rather enjoy your company and would be delighted if you would join us."

No go ahead. I could use the rest. He leans back in his seat he turns to Fydan. Thank you.

Alex smiles at Alena, he glances at Phoenixineohp and then sighs. He turns back to Alena "I'll be back in a minute." He stands up, tosses a few coins into the hat and walks over to where Phoenixineohp's sitting "Mind if I sit down?"

THE PAIN! IT HURTS SO MUCH!! Ark tries to stand up but immediately falls down again. His eyes are bloodshot and red, and tears are streaming down his face.

Fydan glances at McBish, and gives him a guarded smile.
I like that style.She jerks her head at Alena.

She turns back to her drink.

Ms E walks away from Regiji, moving towards the crying Ark. She reaches out to put a comforting hand on his back, "Hey... hey... it's ok... it's ok..." Evander starts to follow her, but she waves him back to keep him from scaring or startling Ark.

MY HEAD! THE VOICES INSIDE MY HEAD! GET THEM OUT!
Shut up, you fool! You're ruining everything!

Lightning zaps across the ground, and Ark quickly jumps up, and runs towards the Crystal Palace.
