In another thread we were discussing the limited variants for Rangers from Combat Styles. I decided to look at allowing the Ranger to as his "Combat Style" instead emphasise hos magic.

I interested in peoples opinions on whether the suggest casting boost would be worth loosing the normal combat styles and whether it would be to strong.

Druid Spells may only be cast while wearing Light or no Armour (but metal armour is allowed).
The Ranger may select any Druidic spells known. He knows a number of spells equal to the number he can cast a day. He may select a spell of lower than 7th level to "Know". If he does so it will be consider "Hightened", as per the Metamagic feat, to the chosen spell slot.

For example if a Ranger has two 7th lev spells a day he would have two known Druid spells in his spell list to choose from during his daily meditation to receive spells.
For example Heal and Windwalk are his known spells. He may choose 1 of each or 2 of one to cast. He gains the ability to cast a 3rd 7th leve spell per day and chooses to add the 2nd lev spell Flameblade, which would become a 7th lev spell for the Ranger, to his known spells list.

So what do people think

Apologies. This thread was started twice by mistake.
If anyone can tell me how to delete it (or has the power to delete it) I would be very apreciative.
