If you can somehow get it to fail the save, a protean has the excellent ability to have 4 EX abilities, and change them at-will.Plus, a whopping regeneration 50 with no weaknesses.

What book is that from? I don't recognize the name nor the ability to change Ex abilities at will

Solars seem to be a popular option for polymorph line of spells so why not a true mind switch also?

An aleax ice assassin of yourself when you're Fusion'd with whatever you want to gain the abilities of.

[edit] Also, a devastation beetle would be a good choice, if you have shapeshifting magic and access to a character rebuild (or negative levels and a thought bottle). Trade those 128 HD for character levels.

Going this route and you may as well just finish the Path to Ascension and not worry about True Mind Switch at all. The devastation beetle on the other hand would be amazing.
