View Full Version : What martial discipline is a best fit for archery?

Mechanically or thematically. I know none are perfect fits.

I'm thinking Desert Wind for its focus on speed, or White Raven for at least not being intrinsically melee.

I'm disqualifying shadow hand for reasons that are boring to read.

I think Desert Wind, honestly - it has some boosts and other maneuvers that don't require a melee weapon to use, after all.

Then again, Shadow Hand has quite a few of those as well.

Diamond Mind. Archery is all about concentration, and so is Diamond Mind. A perfect archer knows his shot has hit before he fires it. Iron Heart also sorta makes sense - a perfect archer has utter mastery of his weapon - but Iron Heart is quite clearly about mastering a melee weapon.
