I've been having a lot of trouble figuring out how the timeline for the area works in regards to the Azure Guard, because it seems extremely contradictory.
4707 AR - Night of Silver Blood
4708 AR - Current year when book was written
A short time before NoSB - Luna Aldred and Karlae Siegfrost depart the (still existing) Azure Guard and reach Olfden just in time to help defend the town from the attack.
However... Tamris Quickthorn and Tablic were both members of the Azure Guard until it disbanded, but have multiple years of history explicitly referenced AFTER that happened.
Were there two groups called the Azure Guard, am I missing something, or did a writer severely mess up?
