I just noticed this (http://www.d20herosrd.com/) from an ad on the PFSRD site. Has it been around for awhile? Anything cool from this system that an aficionado would recommend?

Posting here as it appears to be a d20 game.

I'm only really familiar with the 2e rules, so take this all with a grain of salt.

Wounds were interesting and detrimental without being too hazardous and you really only rolled a d20 for everything, which kept things moving along smartly. Classless point buy system allowed for extreme customizability, and it was pretty good at replicating existing superheroes; there were some splatbooks introducing extra rules or setting tips for the various golden/silver/bronze ages of comics, as well as anti-heroes, noir, horror, and fantasy settings. 3e specifically was introduced as a platform for DC comics supers (Batman, Justice League, etc), so it has very good support for those characters if that is what you are going for. They also have fairly active forums (http://www.atomicthinktank.com/), with lots of good back-and-forth on the best way to stat out your favorite characters, and tons of NPCs to grab when you are in need.

Edit: fixed link

It's a game where you can make anything, as long as you're patient. I love it for that and the simple, snappy combat compared to every other d20 game I've tried. It's my go-to system for pretty much everything that isn't either gritty horror or loot-based heroic fantasy.
