This is mostly for my use, however since I am making it I thought I may as well share with others. I like the Hellfire Wyrm, everything about it is awesome to me and I thought it was irritating that they are not considered true dragons despite having more power than many a great wyrm true.
So, I decided to make their true dragon progression, though most of it follows a similar progression to other true dragons, there were a few things I altered to fit better. Normally, the given hellfire wyrm would be an adult or lower based upon the HD, most all true dragons gain 3 per age category. However the power of a hellfire if the stats presented were for an adult is greatly disproportionate to the power of other true dragons assuming similar advancement. So most of the stats and abilities are boosted such that the base hellfire wyrm is nearer a great wyrm in age, SR 37, DR 20, 5d4 infernal aura, 240ft aura of fear(as opposed to the normal 120). Their HD is heavy in the gargantuan ages to keep the lower ages nearer true dragon norm instead of having 13 HD wyrmlings(the highest being 9HD radiant or howling wyrmling).
