EDIT: Tables are messed up: attempting to fix!
this is a D&D 3.5 prestige class, applicable to any game. For thoes too lazy to read this, just skim. It's a food wizard (or food bard if you want). Check out the special cutlery weapons! X8 crtitical egg whisk for fun!
5 pages of homebrew, coming right up!

Culinaromancer http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/9006/culinaromancerdf0.png
After a hard Day of adventuring what does every warrior deserve? FOOD! Food is the necessity of life to almost every living creature on the material plane. Without food, the body grows weaker, and eventually dies.
Adventurers are the worst off in the food business. Sure, they may scrap a couple thousand gold pieces, and go to the best restaurants, but most of the time they’re hungry! While in a dungeon, you rarely get good food, and even cooked things aren’t as nice. Fresh produce is a commodity that should be provided daily, but is hard to come by underground. Magic has solved the needs of some food with spells, which keep it fresh, and spells, which conjure food, but those are very draining on a spell caster. The truth is: RED WARRIOR NEEDS FOOD, BADLY!
This is the time when a Culinaromancer comes in. Culinaromancers use their superb skills in cooking and arcane magic to entertain, adventure, and serve! A Culinaromancer specializes in using magic to aid both his cooking and his power. Most Culinaromancers start out as cooks, but branch off into wizardry to get the proper spells they need to be a Culinaromancer. Chefs usually apprentice under a Culinaromancer as a mentor of food and magic. As a Culinaromancer becomes more powerful, his food becomes tastier, and the better his food is, the more powerful he is. They are one: magic, and food!
Culinaromancers usually make lives maintaining legendary restaurants, adventuring, or appearing on Iron Chef. As an adventurer, the Culinaromancer is a truly potent threat, as well as a good source of food.
Adaptation: a Culinaromancer is usually a bard, and sometimes a wizard. This class is used to have fun, and not be for whiney munchkins who need to inflict 49,595 damage per round. Throw this class into any game for laughs!
Hit Die: D4

Class Features
Weapon and armor proficiencies: Culinaromancers are proficient with all light armor, except chain shirts. They receive no spell failure percentage with light armor. Culinaromancers are not proficient with shields. Culinaromancers are proficient with all simple weapons and cutlery (described below)

Spells per day: A Culinaromancer advances in spell casting at 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th level. When he advances in spell casting treat this as though he had gained another level in his previous arcane spell casting class. He does not however gain any other benefits of a new class level, such as a Wizard’s bonus feats.
Food Sling: IfaCulinaromancer has 10 or more ranks in Profession (cook), he may use small food items (such as turnips or nuts) as sling ammunition. This ammunition in the hands of a Culinaromancer acts as if it had a +1 enhancement bonus, and it also travels 10 feet farther. A Culinaromancer can conjure some of this ammunition as a free action once per round. He can conjure it straight to his sling’s pouch, so he doesn’t have to spend an action loading. Conjured ammunition can be used in cooking as well as combat. Using this free action does however provoke an attack of opportunity.
Conjure meal: a Culinaromancer who has 10 or more ranks in Profession (cook) can conjure a meal for 4 people once per day. This food is enough to provide a good tasting, and nutritious meal. The food can sustain a person for a full half of a day. Each odd level the Culinaromancer reaches, he can conjure one more meal per day. Conjuring a meal requires a 5-minute incantation.
Food component: A Culinaromancer can substitute a food item for any material component for a spell (except precious gems, such as diamonds). The food he conjures from the food sling ability can be used as a food component. However, he requires a rank in Knowledge (food) equal to twice the level of the spell he tries to cast.

Magic cutlery: a Culinaromancer’s magic in food allows him to wield some cooking implements as simple weapons with a +2 enhancement bonus (see cutlery items below)
Food-Like Ability: At his 2nd, 5th, and 9th level, a Culinaromancer gains a Food-Like ability of his choice from this list:

Speak with food: although not often thought of, the foods you eat can encounter strange times. This ability allows a Culinaromancer with 12 or more ranks in knowledge (food) to communicate with foods as if they had an intelligence score of 2. Foods know most of what has happened around them for the past day or two. This ability is required to achieve communication with a Culinaromancer’s food golem (see below).
Ray of frosting: This ability allows the Culinaromancer to cast a ray of cake frosting as the spell; scorching ray. The only differences are, that it deals cold damage instead of fire damage. When hit by a ray, the subject also gains the tTasty subtype for 5 hours, or until it washes off the frosting. This ability can be used once per day for every 3 Culinaromancer levels, using the Culinaromancer’s level as the caster level.
Flying cutlery: all cutlery cohorts can act as if it was affected by the fly spell.
Increase cohorts: you may have one extra cutlery cohort than normally allowed.Animate Cutlery: a Culinaromancer who has 13 or more ranks in Profession (cook) can animate cutlery with the animate object spell. These cutlery pieces can become cohorts to the Culinaromancer. The animation can become permanent with a one-hour ceremony (requiring an offering of 5lbs of food).

Cutlery Cohort: a Culinaromancer who has 13 or more ranks in Knowledge (food) can make one animated piece of cutlery become his cohort. He may have one piece of cutlery for every 3 Culinaromancer levels. Cutlery is loyal until its destruction. See stats cutlery below.
Superb Chef: A Culinaromancer gains +5 on all Profession (cook) checks, knowledge food checks, and a +2 bonus on all perform (cooking) checks.
Heroes Feast: A Culinaromancer who has 16 or more ranks in knowledge (food) can conjure a Heroes Feast (as the spell) once per week.
Adamant Gullet: A Culinaromancer can digest any food item. He can ignore disease in any food item, and eat things raw. He can also intake any alcoholic beverage without any repercussions of alcohol.
Incredible chef: A Culinaromancer gains +7 on all Profession (cook) checks, knowledge food checks, and a +4 bonus on all perform (cooking) checks. These bonuses do not stack with the superb chef ability, but replace them.
Food Golem: A Culinaromancer can make a food golem out of raw food. This requires one day’s worth of cooking, and three DC 20 Profession (cook) checks. Any failed checks result in the golem’s failure, as well as him ruining all the raw materials. See stats below.
Ever-full gullet: a Culinaromancer no longer has the need to eat. He still gains benefits from magical food enhancements if he chooses to eat them. He does not need to have water.
Master Chef: A Culinaromancer gains +10 on all Profession (cook) checks, knowledge food checks, and a +6 bonus on all perform (cooking) checks. These bonuses do not stack with the superb chef or incredible chef abilities, but replace them. A master chef has a reputation, which is noticeable by bardic knowledge.
Feast of the Gods: This acts as the Heroes feast ability, only when it is consumed it has double the bonuses, and lasts twice as long.

Food Golem:
http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/9366/foodgolembp7.png
Rising from a mound of dough, life is sprung into a heap of edible substance! A food golem is much like a Wizard’s shield guardian (MM page: 223) A food golem is controlled be a special amulet, which the master wears. The food golem only obeys a Culinaromancer who possesses the amulet. This amulet can be stolen, but without having the ability to possess a food golem, the amulet is worthless.
Construction: The skill checks are showed above, but the raw materials require a purchase of about 5,000 gold pieces.

Level adjustment: -

Find master: as long as a food golem and its amulet are on the same plane, the food golem can find the amulet wearer (or just the amulet, if it is removed after the guardian is called)
Guard: If ordered to do so, a food golem moves swiftly to defend the wearer of its amulet, blocking blows and disrupting foes. All attacks against the amulet’s wearer take a –2 penalty when the food golem is adjacent to its master.
Shield other: the wearer of the food golem’s amulet can activate this defensive ability if within 100 ft. of the food golem. Just as the spell of the same name, this ability transfers half the damage that would be dealt to the amulet wearer (this ability does not provide the spell’s AC or save bonuses).
Spell Storing: A food golem can store one spell of 4th level or lower that is cast into it by another creature. It “casts” this spell when commanded to do so or when a predefined situation arises. Once the spell is used, the food golem can store another spell (or the same spell again).

Cutlery:
Have you ever seen a magical butcher knife flying straight for your face? Not a very pretty sight is it? That’s exactly what the Culinaromancer does. He can wield the following items are cutlery weapons the Culinaromancer can use, or enchant.

These are the normal stats (no Culinaromancer special bonuses). Without exotic weapon proficiencies, these items are useless. All of these are one-handed items. The egg whisk, rolling pin, kitchen mallet, and skewer can be used two handed to double the critical modifier. Yes, this makes the egg whisk a X8 critical, but hey; it’s funny!
When enchanted, these items act as the Culinaromancer instructs them. They each have one turn in the initiative order (on the Culinaromancer’s turn). They gain the following:
Speed: 15ft.
Attack: +5
AC: 15

Hit points: 10

They are not subject to mind affecting spells, and automatically reform if they are destroyed. They gain all construct traits. If enchanted with flight, they also gain a fly speed of 30ft. (perfect maneuverability). When enchanted, they are not treated with the Culinaromancer’s natural bonus for these weapons.

*Huff*, *Huff*...
What do you think?

I like. Quite funny, and pretty useful. Oh, and the "Guide to Homebrewing" thread has Quick tables. Just copy/paste your way to victory!

Sweet, I've been looking for something like that :D Is there a way to up the hit dice to d4 to make it a better bard PrC?
When you get the tablet fixed I'll take a good luck on the features.

Does a culinaromancer get a recipe book?

Nice. You could even allow the culinaromancer to replace gems with an equivilant cost of expensive food components, such as truffles, abalone, or fois gras.

Thanks for the quick table reference, and yes: they have a cookbook.

Now that I reread, shouldn't Perform (cooking) be Cha jut to be grouped with the other perform skills? And can you get synergy with Profession (cook)?
