Guess this is an odd thread for GiantITP, but oh well, I'm giving it a shot.

I've been carrying around this old Zelda chain wallet for ages. AGES. Like... 6+ years. I'm going to go ahead and totally embarrass myself and admit that I bought a new one when it wore out the first time. Now it's worn out again and I'm thinking I really need an upgrade.

(last pic unrelated)

I want to get something that has at least as much capacity as this one, maybe a little more. I have a lot of business cards, a lighter, bandaids, "mens-care" products, etcetera that I carry around in this thing. I'm kind of a pack-rat. Bonus if I can punch a hole into it and keep using my chain. I'm kind of... "attached" to it. :smallwink:

Anyone have a good recommendation? I have a decent salary now and I'm willing to pay for something quality that will last for a few years.

If by "men's care" products, you mean condoms I suggest you stop carrying them in your wallet. The heat and pressure they are subjected to in your pocket can ruin it to the point where it no longer protects you.

If you're willing to spend some money then just get another leather wallet. They age well and you can attach your chain to it pretty easily. If you don't like the look of a bulging wallet caused by excessive amounts of cards then perhaps also invest in a metal card holder and separate your cards, it's also safer in case you lose your wallet, now at least you wont lose all your cards as well.

I would do the metal cardholder except I'm very likely to forget it everywhere. I would probably lose my wallet, too, if it wasn't attached to me at the hip.

I found a kevlar wallet (http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/efdd/?srp=45) on ThinkGeek.com for Andre's Christmas present. It's got a clip on it to secure to a belt, but you could probably modify it to make it work with a chain.

I strongly recommend one of these (http://www.idstronghold.com/Mens-Secure-Wallets.asp). They will keep your information more secure, they are durable, they are extremely functional (the organization of cards, ID and money is really efficient), and they look good.

They won't stop bullets, though.

I use this wallet for carrying all my things. It's not leather, but it's made from a combination of plastic and paper. Really strong stuff, and there is enough room for two stores of bills, cards, tickets, receipts, and the like. There are other models like this, so I hope you find something I little fun. Just look up Dynomighty wallets.

Coach (http://www.coach.com/online/handbags/-men_walletscardcases_newarrivals-us-us-5000000000000328825-en?t1Id=82&t2Id=90&t3Id=5000000000000328825&navCatId=90&LOC=HN2) makes a damn fine wallet if you've got the money for it.

I recommend the Thompson Large Zip Around ($228) if you're a pack rat. Keep the LoZ Logo from your old wallet and have it attached to your new one as a memento.

Burburry (http://us.burberry.com/mens-wallets/) makes a sturdy wallet for a man who can't leave some things at home. :smallwink: Check out the the Press Stud Leather Folding Wallet ($250). A beautiful name I know… but at least it's descriptive. This thing is basically bomb proof.

Wow, the Thompson Large Zip Around (http://www.coach.com/online/handbags/Product-thompson_large_zip_around_wallet_in_leather-10551-10051-74726-en?cs=blk&catId=5000000000000328825&navCatId=90) is awesome. Is there a shot of what the inside looks like? It's a very unique style.

The Press-Stud (http://us.burberry.com/press-stud-leather-folding-wallet-p39021901) is also pretty sweet, especially the green one.

Oddly, no. But it's well designed, with plenty of storage. I tried googling an open shot for you, and had no luck. Strange… it's really one of the wallet's better features, tbh.

Or you could forgo the idea of a wallet completely and use a moneyclip instead, coupled with a case for all your cards. Loose change should stay loose and in your pantspocket.

there are many a cool or pretty moneyclips and if you have enough ranks in craft(wondrous items) you can make them yourself (more then enough guides on the interwebz), so you can use your LoZ emblem in or on the new design.

I've become a fan of self made duct tape wallets. Durable, completely customisable and supposedly RFID-proof if you include aluminium foil.
