Am just curious on what feel about, if a egoist acf, (get changeling ACF) , going into a dip of warshaper, would be overly harmful for any sort of viable build?

Only as harmful as any other caster losing caster (manifester levels). You delay power progression. That's a big loss.

Well, there is a debate about the ability to take the class and if you can benefit from it if you do.

Changlings have the shapechanger subtype, so CAN take levels in the class.

It is debated if their racial shapechanging qualifies as an alternate form.

Levels in Egoist with the correct ACF doesn't provide the subtype.

It does provide access to metamorphasis, and that WOULD qualify your for the class completely. If one wanted to pick up warshaper after gaining said power, it would be a viable options that would probably turn out to be a loss of power over straight egoist.

If you're going for a psionic shapeshifter you might get more out of the Ardent than a Psion. You'd lose a few powers known but get medium BAB, allowing you to get into Warshaper 2 levels earlier.
You also won't lose any manifesting power in the long run with Practiced Manifester.

You don't fall behind in the highest level of power you can manifest, but you do lose powers known and PP.

Sure. That's the price of multiclassing with a non-manifester class. But you lose a lot less than a psion would.
The lost PP and powers known aren't that big a deal when you want to focus on shapeshifting melee. Getting access to Greater Metamorphosis is, which a multiclassed Egoist won't unless you only want to dip Warshaper.

He's referring to the Egoist 1 Change Shape ACF (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20070314a), which gives you the same Minor Shapeshift ability of a Changeling.

Assuming you get a favorable ruling on that from your DM (being disguised as another creature is not the same as being in a form that's not your own, and cannot enable any of the Warshaper class features), you would be better off using a build that loses less from taking Warshaper. For example, just make a Changeling Warblade 1/ Wolf Totem Lion Spirit Whirling Frenzy Barbarian 2/ Warblade 1/ Warshaper 4/ Warblade 12. You'll still get 9th level maneuvers by 20th level, and can pounce with White Raven charges and use Mongoose boosts for extra attacks.
