Alright. BattleJump doesn't change the requirements for a charge. I can accept that. I need a full round to execute the charge/pounce. That's fine.

How's this for a concept?

Say I'm riding a Dire Bat... like... as a mount or whatever...

can he move into position, and then I jump off him to execute a battle jump?

eh?! see what I did there? Thoughts? am I clever +7 or what?

As long as your mount is trained for war, directing it in battle is a free action with a DC 10 Ride check. (The rules don't say what the result of failing this roll would be.) Fast dismount is a free action with a DC 20 Ride check, otherwise it costs a move action. So long as you make your Ride checks, yes, you could use a full round action to charge with Battle Jump.

Nifty! How is a mount 'trained for war'? Would a fangshield ranger's animal companion be so? How-about a Wild Cohort?
