The third (and final) of my new races for my campaign setting, the Feyn. Feyn are childlike spirits of nature that are tied closely to humanity. They are ageless, like most Kami, but unlike other Kami can still be killed due to accident or design.

Feyn
Feyn stand at around three to four feet tall, and generally resemble the children of elves, or perhaps humans. Their features are very humanlike, not nearly as angular as elves, but their ears are slightly longer and pontier than an elf's. Their hair and eyes come in all sorts of natural shades, from blonde to red and dark brown. Oddly, however, many feyn also exhibit green hair.
Feyn are ageless, and never die of old age. They do age from birth, of course, but their aging process completely stops when they reach a physical age of about eight to ten.
Surprisingly for many catfolk and nezumi (who don't know of the feyn that well, thinking them no different to elves), feyn reproduce sexually, with each other and with humans, fiendlings and angelings. While the offspring between each other and the 'lings (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32239%27) is obvious, the offspring produced between humans and feyn might surprise people not accustomed to it; a union between a human and a feyn produces an elf. Many scholars theorise that the entire elven population are the result of humans and feyn living together since before time began, possibly in the forests feyn and elves still call home.

Game rule information
Fey (spirit): Feyn are Fey with the spirit subtype.
-2 Str, -2 Con, +2 Dex, +2 Wis: Feyn are weaker and frailer than their human friends, but are lithe and agile and can be a perceptive bunch.
Small: As a Small creature, a feyn gains a +1 size bonus to Armor Class, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, and a +4 size bonus onHide checks, but he uses smaller weapons than humans use, and his lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of a Medium character.
Feyn base land speed is 20 feet.
Low-light vision: A feyn can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. He retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
Human-like: Feyn are close relatives to humans, and are actually their representatives in the Spirit World. However, this link comes at a price: feyn are affected by spells and effects that only work on humans, such as charm person. Luckily for the feyn, they enjoy a +2 racial bonus to saving throws against these spells and effects. Unlike greater Kami, feyn do not grant spells to divine spellcasters.
Ageless: Feyn do not age past maturity (which is for them around the same as eight to ten for humans). They take about as long as a human to reach this age, and from then on completely halt all aging. A feyn never acrues penalties or bonuses due to age, and will never die of old age. They can still be killed prematurely, like any mortal being can, and do not reform like most Kami.
Spirit link: Feyn, as Kami, have an odd link with the Spirit World; if they meditate for ten minutes, a feyn may travel astrally into the Spirit World, leaving his body in the mortal world still and unmoving. While in the Spirit World, feyn can fly with a speed of 50 feet and perfect maneuverability; however, to leave the Spirit World again they must come within ten feet of their body's location in the mortal world and concentrate for a full round. While in the Spirit World, feyn can freely converse with any spirits they find, and this is what most feyn use the ability for. Unlike the Ethereal Plane, it is impossible to see into the mortal realm from the Spirit World, although a feyn can sense the location of his mortal body.
Feyn have a +2 racial bonus to all Charisma-based skill checks when dealing with other Kami.
Automatic languages: Common, Spirit Tongue and Sylvan. Bonus languages: Bakemono (change to Goblin in normal D&D games), Elven (in normal D&D games only), Nekogo (change to Gnome in normal D&D games), Nezumigo (change to Dwarven in normal D&D games).
Favoured class: DruidFeats

Shroud of Spirits, Greater [Racial]
Your power to alter your body to hide your presence increases.
Prerequisites: Feyn, Shroud of Spirits, character level 6th
Benefit: You gain the ability to use your camoflague spell-like ability a further two times per day. You may also use invisibility as a spell-like ability once per day, in addition to your camoflague uses.

Spirit Sight [Racial]
Your strong connection to the Spirit World allows you a limited ability to see spirits currently in the border realm of the Ethereal.
Prerequisites: Feyn, character level 3rd

Cranky, I like it. Where can I find the nezumi at?

Oriental Adventures. They'll probably need a little updating, but it shouldn't be much work.
