where does one find the genasai race, i've searched long and hard but can't seem to find it.

They were first described (afaik) in the Forgotten Realms Races of Faerun book. I think they're also in the Races of Destiny or possibly Unearthed Arcana - but for sure Races of Faerun.

Thx for the quick response, unfortunately they are not in RoD or UA. I'm pretty sure they are somewhere other than Races of Faerun.

Yeah, FR core book. Races of Faerûn provides some additional crap (it was published after the FR core book, obviously), but not the actual race stats.
