Chickens

I will be running a ridiculous single session with some friends and just wanted to know if, by RAW, I was required to use the 'raven' animal from MM as a stat block for chickens (modified or not).

The statistics presented here can describe most nonpredatory birds of similar size.

The question, then, is if a chicken is a nonpredatory bird of a similar size as a raven.

I have already read both the raven's information and have even checked the 'animal' type. What I am trying to figure out is if, since the chicken (while technically a nonpredatory bird of similar size to a raven) lacks a listing, can I have RAW cheesy fun with it due to the "can describe" part of that sentence. I'm thinking something like the birds from LoZ, or perhaps even more dangerous.

Well there seems to be a problem with this chicken.
I suspect both the Pecks should be the 1d3-5 version.

Actually, both the pecks should probably be 1d2-5 as the raven's claws. Either way, it's a minor typo since 1d2-5 = 1d3-5 = 1.

Well, it could make a difference if the chicken gets buffed enough to cancel out those -5s.

And the "peck" natural attack should probably be called "bite" for the sake of consistency with other animals, but that makes little difference unless you're abusing Warshaper.
