Very nice. I like the way you drew his stance. As a bonus, I've never seen a barbarian wielding 2 scimitars before. Cool :smallcool:

Do you take requests?

I could take requests.
Yay. Since I like your Warforged drawing style so much, I would like to request a portrait of my current Warforged character. Let's see now, he is a Fighter 5, Juggernaught 2. Wields a greatsword, has Adamantine body and Improved Damage reduction. Oh he also has the body spikes from the juggernaught class. If you could draw him for me I would be very grateful. It's really difficult to find a good warforged character portrait.
Thanks!!!

I'd love to, I'll get right on it.

Oooh! This is too good to pass up, I have to take advantage of free requests from an artist as good as you (an attempt to butter you up ).

Could I have a light skinned Illithid (doesn't matter much if its black and white), wearing a grayish robe wielding two katar (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f5/Ornamental_katar.jpg)(punching daggers) in both hands. The katar should have a hole in the middle for better fighting as weapons can be caught in them, and split when the two pairs of hand grips are pulled together for greater damage upon piercing the foe's skin. He should be wearing slippers, or shoes, or nothing on his feet if you feel so inclined. He has some telepath powers, but I don't know how that could be shown. Any pose is great, but he should look ready to his weapons at a moment's notice, not have them dangle at his side.

I will not request anything. Not because I think you are a bad artist, but because you have already doomed yourself.

Besides, I try to do art too, so what kind of artist would I be if I made other people do my work?

...

Okay, I suck, but I do need practice, so I do all my own stuff.

An illithid with katars, now that's strange. But I'll churn this out right away. I've finished the spikey juggernaut and when I get this illithid done I will scan them both.

edit: although, huggernaut is an awesome idea...

Could you do something for me?

For my campaign I'm using a homebrew race of horror. They look as follows: about the size of a halfling, with four black tentacles as legs, two clawed hands covered by scales. The head is like that of a dwarf, except the beard is made up of snakes. They also have three eyes, the center one is one an eyestalk. They have a tail which is another snake. I need one of these, blackish fire around his claws and the eyestalk glowing. If you could do that I would be very happy.

KB that ROCKS!! The armor spikes are cool, but the best is that greatsword. It just looks amazing! Thank you much.

And thanks for the praise from everyone who liked thier drawing.

For anyone asking me for requests I won't be using DeviantART for it anymore. I don't want to flood my page too much.

A bit more of a banal request, but hey whatever...You do really good work, so if I may ask of you, another barbarian...

Ricgar stands at 6'1, a head taller than most of the party, and seems relatively thin, though what skin is shown shows obvious muscle. His hair is long, down to his shoulders, and straight, after exerting himself one can see him sometimes trying to blow the hair away from his face, usually with minimal success. His eyes are rounded and the irises themselves are a dark blue. His nose would be considered larger than normal, but not excessively so, it looks like it was broken once, but was put back into place, healing nicely and showing only a little deformation. Ricgar currently is sporting a shadow of a beard, which is as black as his hair. A faint smell of leaves and the outdoors is about him. His skin is a tanned color (he'd be most like a Native American)

Ricgar wears a dirty brown long sleeved shirt, which covers most of his body, on top of which is now a finely made chain shirt, the chain links being rather small. Ricgars pants are of a lighter beige color and now sport a few scorched holes in them. His boots are made of some sort of leather and look well worn and used.

In hand: his axe (rough sketch on post 319) in his right hand and his large wooden shield in the left hand

Thanks in advance

I'll get on this right away, but if it wouldn't be too much trouble perhaps a link to the axe? I don't know exactly what you mean by post 319.

You take requests? Awesome!

I have a Warforged Barbarian/Bear Warrior in a campaign, and would really appreciate a picture as a mental guideline if you could help make one.

The picture i'm using for a guideline right now is: http://www.coveworld.net/eberron/warforged.jpg

He's 6'8, has a Mithril body, weilds an Adamantine Maul (think of a large double-sided warhammer build for two hands) enchanted to be +1 shocking (like flaming, only electricity damage).

Instead of regular armor spikes on him, he has retractable netcutter spikes. (I think of them as some regular pointy spikes, and angled blades for the rest) He almost never has all of them extended at once (so maybe just an arm and a hand for it)

He's in a campaign where he's hundreds of years old, so maybe some light scratches on the armor, it's not as shiny as it used to be, etc. (Deep scratches he'd've had repaired)

If possible, could you also draw him in bear form? and some sort of half-way transformation form? Right now he can only do Bear Form (Black).

Thankee.... I know it won't be easy, and everyone think's I'm a Beast Wars buff for the Warforged Bear Warrior, but I just think it's a neat idea, a metal man turning into a bear, and by the RaW he keeps some of his construct traits (IE light fortification) in bear form.

Edit: His ghulra: An eye with a curled tail. (Like from the Terry Pratchett book 'Thud')

Krimm,
What did I start? Hope you're not overloaded. That's the breaks with being an artist on a site like this and taking requests. Good luck!!

If I were an artist, I would probably take some requests off your shoulders. However, I currently suck, and I am not improving, so, yeah, good luck!

Wait, I said this before. I must have predicted that it would be necessary with superpowers!!!! Or maybe just the sense to know that people do this kind of thing. Either way.

It's really been alot easier on me than I thought. I'm just glad I'm able to pump out this much art in a span of a few days. Usually I can only produce art when I'm incredably inspired, as was the case for the original picture.

Note to everyone else out there: Just because it's easy on me doesn't mean you can make it any harder for me, I have school this week.

Argh, anymore requests may be delayed. Homework SUCKS. But feel free to make requests in moderation if you like anyway. Just don't expect them to be finished an hour or less after they're requested.
