So, i am going to set up an ambush by a small pack of hellcats (3 or 4). The group recently fought the BBEG, who fled and is using connections to get the hellcats to attack the PCs to kill or slow them down (this is going to be a bit of a repeating theme in the next few sessions, the BBEG is panicked and running a bit scared).
They are invisible in daylight. So, would it be tactical for them to attack in daylight? (do they dislike daylight is the main question)
If they did attack at night (because they are nocturnal?) how would dark-vision work with their invisibility?
The attack is going to be fairly straightforward, they cats will try to herd the PCs to a chosen location cornered by a cliff face an then attack.
But i want to get the tactics down a bit....
