My question regards the duration of the spell

http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20050202a&page=3

It says its Duration: Concentration, to a maximum of 1 round/level

the max level is easy enough, but the concentration thing is whats throwing me. Does it mean that you have to make a concentration check every round? I don't see anything that mentions what the DC would be so that doesn't seem as likely.

Would it be impossible to cast another spell while this spell is active? seems likely.

So if I had to concentrate on this spell and was attacked, if I failed a concentration check at that point would the spell wink out and be wasted?

The details are here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicOverview/spellDescriptions.htm#duration), but the brief answers are no, yes, and yes.

Of note, there are ways to avoid the concentration necessary every round.

Feats, spells, class abilities, etc.
