Hello playgrounders...

I'm sorry i come to you without the slightest google search.

I'm looking for links, guides and handbooks for a PC specialized only on 1 thing.
Counter spell. He (or she) is a dude that can (no matter how) counter/dispel any and all things that he/she wants. And only that.

3,5E , no homebrew, no mags , no psionics

Thnx all

Wizard 5/ Master Specialist 10/ whatever 5, specialized in Abjuration, and trade your Wizard 5 bonus feat for the Domain Power ACF in CC for the Inquisition domain. Inquisition gets you +4 to dispel checks, and a Master Specialist Abjurer adds half his class level to dispel checks.

Dispel Magic
Level: Dispel Check
5: +9
6: +10
7: +11
8: +12
9: +15
10: +16
11: +17

Greater Dispel Magic
Level: Dispel Check
11: +18
12: +19
13: +21
14: +22
15: +24
16+: +1 per level

At level 17 you can use Mordenkainen's Disjunction to automatically succeed at dispelling any and all spells in its area.

If you manage to get CL 3 with divine spells and a turning pool, Divine Defiance (Fiendish Codex II) allows you to counterspell as an immediate action.

Failing that, Battlemagic Perception (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:30NIdweyIDgJ:dndtools.eu/spells/heroes-of-battle--69/battlemagic-perception--1403/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca) (Heroes of Battle) will allow you to discharge the spell to get a free action counterspell attempt.

A discerning counterspeller should also look into Spellcaster's Bane (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:K2VjIDMRcNYJ:dndtools.eu/spells/complete-mage--58/spellcasters-bane--804/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca) (Complete Mage) and Srinshee's Spell Shift (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:GnFCOWed7hQJ:dndtools.eu/spells/lost-empires-of-faerun--30/srinshees-spell-shift--1553/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca) (Lost Empires of Faerun)

"Wizard 3/Master Specialist 10/Initiate of the 7 Fold Veil 7" can be a pretty strong build anyways that also happens to dispel very well.

Focused Specialist alternative class feature gets you more Dispel attempts

Sorcerers can make surprisingly functional Dispel/Counter types, especially with the 'faster metamagic' options and Heighten Spell.

Clerics with Divine Defiance are also good Counterspell sources.

Archmage can take the ability to rebound spells rather than just counter them, which is fun.

Paragnostic Apostle can also grant a Dispel bonus.

Elven Spell Lore Feat gives you bonus Dispel; a Reserve Feat that boosts Abjuration can functionally grab you another one (there are two or three).

You can get the Inquisition Domain bonus with Planar Touchstone feat I think.

Improved Counterspell works good with the Sorcerer path. Reactive Counterspell is usually garbage BUT if you plan on going Epic it is a prerequisite for Epic Counterspell, which is stellar if you have already focused on this path.

Any way to get Initiative bonuses will of course help make your Counterspell abilities matter.
