Divine Bard2/Cloistered Cleric 1/Marshall 1/ Warblade2/ Ordained Champion5

Domains: War/Knowledge/Trickery Devotion/Knowledge Devotion
Primarily taking Diamond Mind Concentration Feats to use Undersong to use Perform checks instead of Concentration checks.

I'd want to be SAD: Charisma as much as possible. Which is where I hope I can add more synergy in my last 10 levels.

Back story: I'm feeling is a scholarly barrister (low level noble with small plot of land) in a court who's family is slaughtered in a raid and tries to find ways to use his Charisma to gain retribution.

Tactics: He powers up in combat using Divine Power to make him a worthy combatant, which once I get forth level spells I should be able to cast as a swift action. Ordained Champion channeling works with initiator strike maneuvers. I can also cast on the normal attack I use to recharge my maneuvers so recharging doesn't seem like such a waste.

My Trickery Devotion Simulacrum can attack using Smites to get around his terribly weak strength modifier. I"m also not sure whether the Simulacrum uses my resources or has his own which I presume are a copy of my resources at the time of his "casting". I think the later is correct, but I may not be so if someone knows better let me know.

The big question is what should he go into for the last ten levels?

Prestige Paladin 2/Fist of Raziel 8? Get more Divine Grace and moar smiting. Or else Ruby Knight Vindicator (possibly adapted for a different god) to continue the maneuver+divine casting thing.

The X Stat to Y Bonus list (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125732)might be helpful.

Let me second refluffed RKV, it came immediately to mind.

I like RKV a lot. If I can't find anything more interesting that's the direction I'll go.

I appreciate the X Y link, its one of my favorites and its a huge help. I've looked at it. Just trying to find some Prestige Classes that might be more exotic, that I don't know about or havent' thought about that might get use from the setup.

RKV, is probably the strongest thing I can possibly do. But it might not be the most fun. So anything else that comes to mind let me know. I actually am also considering Stormsinger from Frostburn. It does damage and controls weather with Perform checks and I'll have pretty darn good perform checks.

Just don't overuse it, or your DM will end up running an all indoors/dungeon/underdark campaign to avoid having to fight your weather control every single battle.

Also note that since there is a lot of action that happens in the above situations, be careful when selecting character options that really only function well in a specified environment (outdoors). Not saying don't do it, but maybe get an idea from the DM of where he intends the campaign will go. Playing the undead destroying specialist in a campaign heavy on the outsiders, for instance, isn't as much fun as one where you know undead will feature prominently. Conversely, playing the undead destroying specialist and optimizing too much will suck much of the fun out of the campaign for the DM and potentially other party members and you walk over entire encounters and deny the other players the opportunity to use their cool stuff too.

Stormsinger probably has other stuff to do aside from control the weather, but that's still a cool, potentially character defining trick and would suck if you never got to use it.

Stormsinger is a cool class. Its full casting. It gives you songs that mimic several spells. Gust of wind or some low level spell that blows people back. Too many spell like effects to mention now, but they don't all need to be outside to be used. The two damage spells are neat because their damage single target and line up to 60 ft do damage as much as your perform check.

The fluff of the class is that they protect boats to travel in the north from bad weather, but they get good ways to use their bardic music and don't lose any casting levels.

Its worth a look and the Frostburn book is a good book to use in any setting since it just talks about cold weather conditions.

I am (or was) very familiar with specific sections of Frostburn and have used them extensively.

My players were probably sick of Huge (buffed by Divine Power) spiked chain wielding Frost Giant gestalt clerics by the end of that part of the campaign.

Sorry, you just sounded very unsure of what a Stormsinger did. I wasn't trying to insult you. I really appreciate the input. I've done RKV before so I was trying to find something else.
