So, I have been working on a final boss for an adventure I came up with, and I have a build to present. I was wondering if anyone could see anything wrong with it, or offer improvements. BTW, the players and bosses are gestalt

Illumian Savage Bard 1/Wizard 4/Ur Priest 2/Mystic Theruge 6//Vecna Blooded(Template)/Fallen Paladin 6/Blackguard 5/Assassin 1

The idea is a decent melee warrior, with a large amount of casting power

Ranger 1 seems a bit of a waste, rouge one or assassin one may be a better fit both would have sneak attack damage that adds to the blackguards, paladin 5 blackguard 6 the other way gets you nothing and at least bg 6 gets another spell. I would not bother with bard myself and get a rogue or assassin level, or even bg 7.

I am assuming this is gestalt making your build illegal unless house ruled do to Mystic Theruge which advances two classes spellcasting which is a nono in gestalt. Says so in the rules.

Instead perhaps Paladin 4/Rogue 1/Shadowbane inquisiitor 7/ Blackguard 1 (retrain all your paladin levels into blackguard at this point making you a level 6 Blackguard due to Shadowbane inquisitor and paladin levels stacking) on one side

Conjurer specialist2/MS3/ Malconvoker refluffed so you can be evil the rest.

End result is a real blackguard that can inspire fear by summoning Steel devils side by side and having an army of mooks as well as other spells to deal with enemys.

yeah, I`m the DM, so i allow it on a case by case basis:smallbiggrin:

and the idea is a not a summoner, one of my party is a malconvoker, and is pretty good at taking them apart. He will also be paired with a red dragon with templates, in a lava lake, with enemy hit and run casters. The rouge idea is a good one...

I need the bard to qualify for ur preist
