As the titles says, I'm expecting to die very soon in a campaign I'm in and decided to make a character close to Jinx from League of Legends. My friend made a Fiora copy easily enough, but Jinx is giving me some troubles that I was hoping the board could help me with.

I'd like some input on weapons, feats, and classes, that sorta thing, that I should probably look into that you can think of.

I am hoping that something will come closer than bolas and a repeater crossbow, on a ranger or rogue, but it's all I could find for now.

Oh, and here's a list of things that are on my To Do List which I will be attempting to do in character. I probably won't get away with much of it, but I can sure as heck try.

Life Goals List of Jinx
1. Blow up a boring city.
2. Blow up two boring cities. At once.
3. Blow up three boring cities at once.
4. Find an interesting city. Blow it up to make it MORE interesting.
5. Make all monkeys illegal.
6. Start a evil baddies adventurer club. Monkey required to enter.
7. Blow up the interesting city from before.
8. Free all the animals.
(Side note) (ALL animals means ALL animals. Pets, horses, things in the woods, stuff locked in cages because of unearthly horror)

Well the liswt of goals is certainly inline with Jinx's crazy personality, however Jinx is a chaotic single target ADC with a Minigun and a bazooka. How is that compatible with blowing up an entire city, let alone multiple ones? Dunno.

Every method I know of to blow up a city is inherently magical and sometimes more wonky than raw ( locate city bomb or wightocalypse/shadeocalypse ) but in any case has nothing to do with explosives.

The closest you probably can get would be to have a look at the pathfinder's alchemist type who can deal explosive damage with his alchemistical connoctions and refluff it as a bazooka. Multiclass with pathfinder's gunslinger archetype and it is as close as I can do to emulate Jinx.

None of this will enable you to raze cities with ease though. And I don't think there are any non third party classes in 3.5 that do thematically what you want, but I may err there.

Too much blowing up of cities. If you've done it once, its boring. Unless its a bigger/elven/important city, then maybe.

But in all seriousness, Jinx doesn't have anything in her kit that would let her blow up a city in LOL either. But in a world where explosives exist, its just a matter of stocking up a sufficient quantity and getting the distribution right.

She has Super Mega Death Rockets. Those will do the job.

Anyways, 3.5 is not a good system for re-making Jinx (or any other artillery-based character for that matter). Unless you homebrow half a PHB worth of rules and content, you're not getting anything close to a rocket-launching menace. What you really want is something like Warhammer FRP.

There's actually a weaponer? archetype for the Alchemist, allowing you to imbue bombs into weapon attacks. Combine that with gun use/ proficiency, and you can spend the action using explosive shots instead of rapid fire. This should emulate at least her Q

Sorry, read the above comment about alchemist and forgot about 3.5

Hmm. Well, the list of things doesn't have to be things I do level 1, and you can craft explosives I think even from the players handbook. At least timers for said bombs. So any class will do really for her life goals.

Is there any way to load darts, capsules, or something with explosives or alchemical items? Are there any sorts of guns? If so I'd just need a book or something to refer to when asked ^^; I suppose I could just try and use a slingshot or crossbow if worst comes to worst...

DMG pg.146 has got you covered from gunpowder to laser weapons.

Urgh, shoulda mentioned this is not a laser weapon or modern era. That's why I'm talking alchemy or magic. Best that could be found is possibly something dwarven or steampunky in terms of firing things.

I never played LOL, but if you plan to be a ranger that blows city up, you might be interested in the fact that locate city is also a ranger spell. Thus (http://dndtools.eu/spells/races-of-destiny--81/locate-city--3036/), Locate (http://dndtools.eu/feats/frostburn--68/snowcasting--2670/) City (http://dndtools.eu/feats/players-handbook-ii--80/flash-frost-spell--1135/) Bomb (http://dndtools.eu/feats/complete-arcane--55/energy-substitution--880/) fun (http://dndtools.eu/feats/complete-arcane--55/born-of-the-three-thunders--260/) ensued (http://dndtools.eu/feats/complete-arcane--55/explosive-spell--998/). If you try to accomplish that as a ranger without Sword of the Arcane Order, of which you probably can't meet the prerequisites, and without metamagic reducers, you might not get books thrown at you since Locate City Bomb is a 4th level spell and rangers get those spells at 14th level.
However, for more fun (and more books thrown at you) you could go for a Wizard/Swiftblade/Abjurant Champion (staple gish build) with Thematic Spells (rockets, crazyness and whatever you like) and get your Locate City Bomb waaaay earlier.

It you are basing yourself on the get Jinxed video, she doesn't destroy piltover....it was all a dream sequence.

I believe having vivid dreams of destroying cities should make one more likely to have that on their to do list, not less.

My point is that as it stands, Jinx lacks the actual ability to make her dreams come true. Her biggest gun is thr SMDR and while powerful I doubt it could destroy a building, much less a whole city.

There's this game called Dnd. It's an open world as opposed to the one in this game called League of Legends. In Dnd you can roll to DO things. You can also use spells and items. Items! Move... beyond your capabilities. It's also bound to be different than League of Legends. I highly recommend Dnd to you, and in fact everyone here.

I can't currently destroy dragons with my level 2 wizard. But if it's on his list of things to accomplish, he can likely find a way. Eventually.

I'd say an Artificer would probably cover almost all your bases on the making things explodey, considering they get pretty much all the Item Creation feats free. Maybe go Blastificer type. Try reading here for some good ideas on that.
