A random fairy gets some gold and flies off.

[Lord Iames Osari]

You're welcome, but... You understand? What do you understand?

[Blood]

"I understand sight! I know what it is...I was born blind, I never fully understood why people were so sympathetic with me...and now I see, and understand why it's so beautiful and..." He goes on like this for a little while, then stops to catch his breath, grinning. Rell looks at Aerin, trying to put on a serious face. "Thank you."

[McBish]

The mutt and the fairy come back in.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin smiles, happy to have been able to make someone so happy. You're welcome, she says again.

[Blood]

Rell continues to smile. "I think I'll go over to that tavern and celebrate for a bit. I don't want to get too rowdy, though." He walks out, waving to Aerin and Vera.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin smiles happily to herself.

[Silas]

Silas enters the station.

[Deus Mortus]

The men march in and spread in a line with the commander up front, AT EASE! The soldiers let their posture slightly relax, though due to the experience of many battlefields, they still look like they could have their weapons in their hands and attacking when the slightest hint of trouble occurs.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi stands up and moves in front of the soldiers, eyeing them critically. These are the men who assaulted and killed the demons?

[Deus Mortus]

Yes mam and I was the commander in charge of them, anythign they did was under my responsiblity and any information they acted on was given by me, these are loyal good men who have fought in more battlegrounds then most people have hair on their heads, I take full responsiblity for all errors that may have occured. The warrior takes a stiff position, one expected to be given to a general of sorts and seems unaffected wether he will receive any punishment or not.

The fly notices the scrying and does the same in return.

Describe to me the exact circumstance under which the demons, and all demons, were first spotted or located, then killed. Verdandi matches the leader's military-like formality and stiffness, but at the same time has a calm and confident manner about her that clearly states that she is in control.

[Deus Mortus]

The warrior put at ease with this line of conduct, something he is accustomed to responds, Mam, recently various bands of demons have sprouted up in the town, we have already taken down many of them all of which refused to surrender and generally injured men before we could properly respond to that refusal. The men send to the graveyard were told this and also that Lord Riddletuck had already tried to do this, but failed in his attempts and was attacked by said demons. When the men arrived they quickly disposed of said demons fearing the risk that the cemetery might be damaged if your officers had done this task. Each of these men are excellent marksman and took them all down, approximatly 30 demons, in two volleys of arrows, thus minimizing damage. I was not there, but I believe the situation was tense and that the men did the right thing to stop escalation, I am truely sorry if this has offended your officers or you, I too understand the honor of the commander.

Then in every situation you have only responded in self-defense to their attacks? Why did you encounter them in the first place?

[Deus Mortus]

We first encounterred a pack in the slums, one of the residentials contacted us, this was before our castle was build, they were causing trouble and we had been hired to stop it, seemingly the police did not care about it. No offense meant ma'am.

[McBish]

((Bah the mutt was out patroling the streets looking for demons quiet a bit.))

[Silas]

"Verdandi, I'd like to mention there are two scrys here."

[Deus Mortus]

((Yes but the denizens of the slums didn't see that, actually the guild never did anything about it, but since the people in the slums don't like police, they won't talk and when they will we claim it was another pack and when we are asked for who contacted us, someone will be paid, it's good to be bad...))

Alcarath quickly stops doing so and retreats to a dark corner.

Verdandi gives a sigh. We have had an officer looking for them for quite some time, actually, but I suppose that the populace is still under the impression that the police are not a group to be respected, and did not notify us. There had been no signs or evidence given to us that the demons had harmed anything other than the graveyard, which is what our officer was trying to stop. What trouble were they causing? What was the situation? Verdandi glances at Silas. I understand, but this is a public building and this is not a private conversation.

[Kenyon]

Jackie raps on the door to the Station, and pokes her head in.

"Hey, is anyone here?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Yes? Aerin says to Jackie.

[Deus Mortus]

As far as I know they had been throwing stuff as people in passing and breaking surrounding houses and such, though it is hard to see what was broken by them and what was broken by poverty, we requested the demons to stop and they simply started laughing and attacking us, they seemed more bored then aggresive, but my men had to act out of self defense. If I may be so bold to say, the demons were quickly dispatched by my men and were no match for us.

[Kenyon]

Jackie steps into the Station. "Yeah, I was wondering if Kenyon had been arrested or anything. Darryl and I haven't heard from him in the past two days, and they haven't seen him at Trog's..."

[Xaspian]

Pelgof walks in, and approaches any staff member who isn't busy.

There was this note in the guild. I wanted to enquire about the reasons why I'm under arrest?

[AmberVael]

I see. Well, I do not believe that there are an charges I can level against you, however, I would like you to notify us if you hear any more about the demons, and preferably about any contracts you might take.

[Rex Idiotarum]

Pelgof, I've taken care of that, go back to the guild. he hears in his head.

[Deus Mortus]

With the new castle functional all jobs are posted, however there are some contracts that are needed to be kept confidential to the public, either to be able to make a swift strike or out of the wish from the contracter, I will ensure you however that if those contacts are in this Town, I will report them to you, though in cases such as that, I can not compromise the confidentiality of the contracter, only refuse his busines. I hope you understand ma'am.

Pelgof walks out, slightly confused.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Jackie steps into the Station. "Yeah, I was wondering if Kenyon had been arrested or anything. Darryl and I haven't heard from him in the past two days, and they haven't seen him at Trog's..."

Aerin shakes her head. Kenyon hasn't been arrested, and I believe that there are no charges outstanding against him. She checks the files.

Aerin looks up. On further consultation of the files, I can say that Kenyon is not being sought for arrest, but we will be filing a for a trial.

[AmberVael]

Understood. I will not ask to see any contracts that are confidential without cause. I believe that is all I needed to hear. Thank you for your time.

[Kenyon]

Jackie sighs. "That's nice and all, but I still don't know where the heck he is. He left for Trog's a couple of days ago, and it's like he just...disappeared..."

[AmberVael]

Wait, how did the charges against Kenyon go? I never heard what happened.

[Deus Mortus]

No problem ma'am and remember if you ever need backup, we are here, we aren't cheap, but we are the best! MEN, IN MARCHING POSITION AND RETURN TO THE CASTLE, MARCH! He turns again to verdandi and says, It has been most pleasant to speak with a woman as talented as she is beautifull.

Verdandi nods and smiles a little at the leader and looks back to Aerin and Jackie.

[Lord Iames Osari]

I spoke to him the other day; he told me that he paid the required bail. I believe it was Officers SASO and Hawk who collected it. The charges have not been removed from the list of current cases; I assumed this was because we intended to file for a trial.

[Silas]

Silas turns his attention as well.

[Deus Mortus]

The leader turns around and returns to the castle.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi sighs. I never knew he had paid his bail. I am willing to drop charges against him, but that is only one of them.

[Kenyon]

"Look, can we discuss his trial later? I can't find the crazy bastard! I think that kinda takes priority here, don't you?" Jackie snaps in frustration.

[Lord Iames Osari]

I'm willing to drop charges against him as well, Aerin says. But I doubt the Marshals would be, even if we could get in touch with them to ask.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi shrugs. I do not know where he is, and I do not have any galdrar to help find him.

[Lord Iames Osari]

I'll ask Iames to try to find him.

[Kenyon]

Jackie 'hmphs' to herself. "Good luck with that. He didn't seem too willing to help when I was in Trog's earlier..."

[AmberVael]

Well we have some measure of control over him, I think. Verdandi's lip twitches up into a smile. I can either ask him nicely, or simply threaten him if he refuses.

[Silas]

Silas shakes his head and sighs.

[Lord Iames Osari]

And I can help, Aerin adds with a similar smile.

[Kenyon]

Jackie stands there, not moving until she has some idea as to where Kenyon has run off to.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi waits for Aerin to contact Iames.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames? We need you to give us a hand.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames appears. Yes?

[Lord Iames Osari]

We need to find where Kenyon is. Could you...?

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames nods. Just a moment. He closes his eyes and concentrates.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi yawns and stands. I think I need to call it a night. She goes to the portal, trailing a hand across Iames's back as she goes past him.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames smiles briefly at the contact, but the smile quickly fades, to be replaced by a look of intense concentration.

[Kenyon]

Jackie looks concerned at Iames' sudden change of expression.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin waits for Iames to announce that he's found Kenyon.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Finally, Iames opens his eyes. I can't find him...

[Lord Iames Osari]

What? Aerin looks shocked.

[Lord Iames Osari]

I can't find him. Iames sounds distressed. I'm sorry, but I can't find him.

[Kenyon]

"You can't find him? You're a frickin' god! How the heck can you not find him?"

Jackie grabs Iames' shirt, and attempts to shake him in anger.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames swallows as he is shaken. I don't know. It's possible that another deity is shielding him from my sight.

[Kenyon]

"What other gods are there in this town, and what the hell would they want with Ken?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin begins to list them. Kyrian, Aloysius, Jonnadiah, Inari, Alex, and I know there are others. We can't know what any of them might want with Kenyon, but if I had to guess, I'd put my money on Jonnadiah or Aloysius. They're quite villainous, secretive, and they're plotting something.

[Kenyon]

"Oooookay, but again, why? Ken's not the kind of guy to get mixed up in a god's stuff."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin raises her eyebrows. I doubt he had much choice in the matter, assuming I'm right about who it is. They do whatever they please, when it pleases them. Even more so than some other deities.

[Kenyon]

Jackie sighs. "Alright, fine. But could you two tell me when you find him? Darryl and I really miss him, and if he's in trouble, we want to help in any way we can."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin nods. I'll deliver the information personally.

[Kenyon]

Jackie nods, and leaves the Station.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames sighs and offers Aerin his hand.

She takes it.

They both disappear.

A note appears on Verdandi's desk.

My, my. You DO work slowly in this town. All that's been done is the questioning of two suspects, both of which were cleared. Want to know where I am? I'm Everywhere. You never know where I'll turn up next. Say, we're at double digits, aren't we? Bet you can't guess where to find the next one

Lord Riddletuck and one of his bodygaurds walks in, I wish to press charges against the two police officers who recently came to the graveyard, I believe their names are Al the Mutt and Silas.

[Silas]

Silas wakes up and hears this. He sits there and watches Riddletuck, with no desire to write that down.

[Deus Mortus]

Lord Riddletuck waits patiently for an answer.

[Silas]

"You expect me to do something?"

[Deus Mortus]

No expect your superior to come take my charges

[Silas]

"Verdandi, can you possibly come in? The idiot that stopped Al and I from performing our duty as officers is here trying to press charges."

[AmberVael]

Verdandi comes into the station and sees the two frozen in time. She waits for them to recover.

[McBish]

An older gentleman leads a young man with a black eye into the police station. He almost shoves him in the door but keeps a hand on the kids shoulder as he turns to Vera. "You an officer?"

[AmberVael]

Verdandi nods and stands. I am.

[Blood]

Rell walks in, and, seeing the two men, stands back and wait for Verdandi to finish.

[McBish]

"Right I would like this stowaway locked up." The young man struggles a bit but the older man has a good grip on him.

[AmberVael]

What exactly has he done, and what are you going to charge him with?

[McBish]

"He snuck aborad my ship to get a free trip." I offered to work for passage. "Shut your mouth. And since I doubt you got laws about stowaways I guess theft."

[AmberVael]

Excuse me, but we do allow freedom of speech. However, lad, I would wait until I asked you for your side of the story, which I will get to shortly. Verdandi smiles politely at them both, then turns back to the older man. Tell me the exact circumstances of this incident, sir.

[McBish]

"Well this one came and offered to work for passage, but I didn't need any more hands and I told him so. But apparently this young man is some sort of sneak theif," The young man shoots him a dirty look. "and snuck aboard my ship. I didn't find him till we were a couple days out of port. Caught him stealing food."

[AmberVael]

I see. What did you do then?

[McBish]

"Well I didn't want the kid to get in the way so I threw him in the brig." Brig? More like a closet. "I feed him so he didn't starve or anything."

[AmberVael]

I want you to keep describing in what happened until you brought him in here. Proceed. Verdandi looks slightly irritated with having to specify this.

[McBish]

"Well that is about it. We sailed here and now I'm dropping him off. He gave a little bit of trouble trying to escape. Probably would have tried to swim here and frozen to death if I didn't stop him." Hmph. "So yeah that is it."

[AmberVael]

Thank you. Now, lad, speak your piece.

[McBish]

What's there to say, this tub of lard refused me the right to work on his ship so I snuck aboard. The young man seems defiant.

[AmberVael]

What exactly happened to you after that?

[McBish]

He locked me up in some closet and called it the brig. I started to sneak out when I heard some sailors saying we were geting close to land. The old man got lucky and caught me. He was even luckier that I didn't have a knife. Then he dragged me here.

[AmberVael]

How did you get that black eye?

[McBish]

Like I said he caught me trying to sneak off. "He put up something of a fight."

[AmberVael]

Verdandi sighs. Twelve hours then. She opens one of the cells.

[McBish]

The young man is lead to the cell by the old man. He shrugs of the mans hand and bolts for the door leaping on top of desks and jumping on them towards the door. The old man gives a start and pulls out a gun. (Flintlock)

[Blood]

Rell's eyes open wide as he sees the commotion. He reaches out a hand, and out shoots a beam of black, which attempts to stop the kid from moving and disable the older man's gun.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi blurs into action, jumping into the air and perfectly flying to the door, probably before the boy can get there.

[McBish]

The boy dives behind a desk to avoid the beam. He spots Vera at the door and curses and looks for a window. The man gets hit with the beam and turns to Rell "Why'd you do that?"

[Blood]

Rell ignores the older man, and begins walking toward the boy, shooting out another couple of black beams that try to stop him in his tracks.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi sighs as the boy looks fruitlessly for a window. Look, its a minor sentence, but if I have to catch you it will become longer. So do you want twelve or eighteen hours? She glances at Rell and the old man. If you would both let me handle this, I would be appreciative.

[McBish]

The young man sneers at Vera and tries to dodge Rell's beams. He dodges one but gets hit by another and falls to the ground imobile.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi sighs. Eighteen it is. She picks the boy up, gets a firm hold on his wrists while he is immobile, then takes him into the cell.

[McBish]

The young man once in the cell's antimagic feild tries to escape from Vera's grasp twisting and turning, probably to no avail. The old man just watches.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi sighs. Look, I do not want to knock you out, but if you continue to struggle I will.

[McBish]

The young man realizes that he is stuck and stops struggling, his eyes scan the station looking for something to help him escape. He seems to be a bit panicked about going into the cell.

[Blood]

Actually, the black beam wasn't magic (and therefore wasn't stopped by the antimagic cell). It was something else, but it doesn't matter, as Rell dispelled it as soon as the guy was in the cell anyway.

[AmberVael]

Verdani moves him to the very back of the cell, then goes and shuts the door. She locks it, then takes a seat at her desk again.

[Blood]

Rell looks at Verdandi. "Now that that's over, I would like to join the Police Force."

[Veg Sorbet]

Anna enters the station and approaches the desk. Hi. um, I'd like to see a prisoner. she says, slightly hesitantly.

[McBish]

"Thank you." The old man says and then leaves. The kid looks around the cell trying to hide his panic.

[AmberVael]

Ok then. Verdandi sighs and points the alignment detecting wand at him while looking at Anna. Who do you wish to see?

[Blood]

Rell is Neutral Good.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi takes a breath and asks Rell the usual questions.
Do you swear to uphold the law in this town?

Do you promise to obey the rules of the police as noted on page 1 of the police station thread?

Do you swear to the best of your ability to track and record crimes as well as apprehend and arrest criminals?

[Veg Sorbet]

I don't know his name. he turned himself in a couple of nights ago.

[Blood]

Rell smiles. "Yes, yes, and yes," He answers, without fully listening to her.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi frowns then nods. The man in cell one. If he wishes to speak to you, go ahead. She looks to Rell. Very well then. She pulls put a badge and holds it out towards him.

[Blood]

Rell takes the badge and swallows it, his mouth expanding if it needs to.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi blinks. Um, you are supposed to wear it.

[Blood]

Rell shrugs. "It will function fine in there, and now no one can steal it."

[McBish]

The young man eyes go wide as he sees Rell eat his badge. He starts to pace in his cell nervously. He kicks off his shoes.

[AmberVael]

Verdandu sighs. Yes, but we also need people to see it. Whatever. She starts doing paperwork.

Anna nods and heads over. She finds the man in the same position as when he had entered the cell, staring up at the ceiling. She stands there, looking in at him, wondering what exactly to say, and hoping he would start the conversation.

When it becomes clear that he either hasn't noticed her, or has but doesn't want to talk, she hesitantly addresses him. uh... hi there... He doesn't show any signs of having heard her. She sighs, thinking of how to phrase her question.

[Blood]

Rell smiles blankly, and leaves the Police Station.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi keeps writing.

[McBish]

The young man watches Anna waiting for something.

[Deus Mortus]

Lord Riddletuck blinks a bit and then walks over to Verdandi, Police Captain Verdandi, I would like to press charges against the officer's Al the Mutt and Silas.

[Lord Magtok]

((That reminds me, theres this new evil lab in town. It might be torturing or killing something. Might be a good idea to investigate.))

[AmberVael]

Verdandi sighs. What for?

[McBish]

The mutt looks up at the mention of his name.

The young man pulls some rocks out of his shoes and if someone with a good spot check is watching might notice him pull out a couple of pieces of wire. ((Note to self he gets out 11:25 my time.))

[Veg Sorbet]

Anna finally makes her decision, and addresses him in Kroizian.
The man finally looks up, and stares at her with bloodshot eyes, a startled expression on his face. He responds in Kroizian too. Anna nods, says something else, and after he responds again, switches to English.

So, I guess I'll introduce myself. I'm Anna Jiboveraque, from The Green City. The man stares at her, his mouth open in shock. you... uh... I... Captain Valthera said you died! he splutters, moving backwards in the cell slightly, looking suddenly scared and slightly ill.

Anna blinks. You know Val? I don't remember seeing you at Ryphar. The man looks confused. Ryphar? where's Ryphar? Anna in turn looks confused. Ryphar Outpost, where Uvi and Taralk are based. The man remains confused, then his expression changes, back to disgust. Oh. I remember. He says, through gritted teeth, as though trying not to vomit.

He closes his eyes, and turns his head down. Captain Valthera and Lieutenant Krytvykn ransacked it. massacred Vor's people just as they were appealing to Odugon to stop our advance... he shakes his head. so many innocent lives... Anna stands there, stunned, incapable of taking this in.

But... what? Vor? innocent? I... I don't understand. She stammers. Vor's hardly innocent... she frowns. And since when was Vor ever at Ryphar? she demands. According to Val, the place had been empty for years when Uvi took command. She stares at the wreck of a man sitting hunched up in the cell, and he looks up, revealing a tear-stained face. His eyes widen slightly.

You... you're not from my Kroizia! he stammers. She frowns again, then her eyes widen as well. Of course... Quollar said... the mirror world... naturally, there's a mirror Kroizia attached to it... Then she breaks off, and sighs. I guess that doesn't help me much then. When I learnt you were here, I hoped you'd be able to tell me how you got here... she shakes her head again. I guess it may help anyway. how did you get here? she asks.

He looks up at her. Dzu brought us. He says, practically spitting Dzu's name. Anna frowns. Dzu? as in Xer Dzu? She also says the name with contempt. The man nods. That is, the Dzu from your world. In my world, he was on our side, but couldn't stomach it any more, and defected to Odugon's side, trying to undo the evil... he looks momentarily revolted again. our evil... my evil... he pauses, fighting back a simultaneous sob and a wave of nausea.

Anna looks at him strangely, unsure what to make of him. then she frowns and scowls as she realises that, at some point, the Dzu she had known must have passed through on his way to the mirror world. She waits for the man to recover, then indicates for him to continue.

I found him one day, wandering through our territory, and promptly arrested him, took his directly to Yannon Tzau'hre, our 'Emperor' he spits this name with disgust as well. Eventually, he recovers enough to continue, and tells his story, reverting to Kroizian part-way through.

Anna stands, listening to the tale, which goes on for about twenty minutes. When he finishes, she is wearing a very concerned expression. so... you're based in Zimbraw's cave, and your Val is running around in Zimbraw's body? she says. He nods. But why are they there, if Val's back home? or is there something else? she asks.

The man shakes his head. I'm sorry, but I'm uncertain. I know there was a reason Dzu wanted Captain Valthera in Zimbraw's body, but I was all the way back in the tunnels when things began happening, and we were never told the full details. He lowers his head, staring at the ground again.

Anna takes a deep breath, and chews on her lower lip has her brain processes everything. Eventually, she speaks again. Well, thankyou for everything, uh, sorry, I don't think I got your name. She says. The man sits, staring at the ground. eventually, he speaks again. Farlorg. Domren Farlorg. he says, dully.

Anna looks down at him, and for the first time, feels truely sorry for him. She nods. Anyway, Domren, I thank you for everything you've told me, and I'm sorry I had to make you remember such terrible things. s'okay. they're there anyway. He replies. whenever I close my eyes. every single kill. Anna looks at him again, biting her lip slightly. I... I'm sorry, Domren. she states again, as she slowly walks away.

He raises her head, and watches her leave, then lies back down, staring at the ceiling again.

[Deus Mortus]

I wish to press chargees for assault, theft, tresspassing, disturbing the peace and torture.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi raises an eyebrow. Tell me what happened.

[McBish]

The mutt chokes a bit. Huh?

The young man examins the lock to his cell.

[Silas]

Silas wakes up again and scowls.

[Deus Mortus]

They trespassed upon my private property, after this they assaulted me by saying they wanted arrest me and also disturbed the piece by doing so, I lost a lot of time I could've spend building while they were there and now have to have it guarded out of fear they might return, this costs me money, so theft. Also the man Silas kept mentally torturing me by threatening me about arrest and both of them also threatened me when I did not do what they wanted.

[Lord Magtok]

Agent Omega enters the station. He sits at his desk, and tries to figure out the fragment of Riddletuck's story he overheard when he entered.

[McBish]

The mutt tries not to laugh at the ridiculus story.

The young man curses silently as he sees yet another officer and sits back down.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi looks at the man in digust. The cemetary is not private property, if you have made it private property then you yourself will have committed theft. Also, saying that they wanted to arrest you is hardly the same as attempting to attack you. It does not constitute assault. If you stopped work and hired guards, those are your own personal expenses, and we have no responsibility for it. Futhermore, complying with police while they are investigating is something that one must do, and if you get in our way again I can arrest you for your interference. Now quit whining, start understanding our laws, and start following them.

[Deus Mortus]

Perhaps you need to speak with the mayor, I bought the cemetery to turn it into a proper funeral home and while that assault may not have physically harmed me, it did mentally, me stopping had everything with me to trying them not to destroy anything unneccesary, also they did not investigate they clearly wanted to kill and again private property and they showed me no warrant. Also I believe it is not your duty to decide over this, but something that must be settled in a court of law.

[AmberVael]

The police and courts work somewhat differently here. If you wish to take them to court, go file a case at the courthouse. As it is, I have no intention of arresting them, and I none of the charges you hold against them will be taken seriously, since they are far from the truth and inaccurate anyways. Verdandi shakes her head at him. Leave before I arrest you for interfering with police investigation.

The agent looks at Verdandi: Now that that nut is gone, I'd like to ask a question.
I saw some nude guy in the tavern, and when I informed him of the streaking law, he told me he was the law-maker of the Town, and there was no such law.
I then had a coma, and didn't get his name.
All I want to know is, who the heck was that guy? And I thought the Mayor made the laws...

The mutt laughs a bit at that.

The young man looks out of his cell to see if the officers are paying attention to him.

Verdandi rolls her eyes. That, Agent Omega, was Emporer Indurain, his nudeness. I attempted to remove the streaking law for his sake, but Gwen said he should overturn it himself.

Omega looks a bit suprised:This Town is part of an empire?

No. He just has the title... its all rather confusing. Gwen is the Town's mayor, but Indurain is somehow the monarch and emporer... just do not think too hard about it and you will be fine. Suffice to say, Indurain is not really someone for us to be concerned with.

I think I'm going to let my head fall onto my desk now and drop into a coma.

A small arachnid-like robot enters. Its abdomen has a hatch in the top. Evidently it is a cargo space. Stopping just inside the door, a synthesized voice sounds out from a speaker set into the top of its head.

I bear a message for Captain Verdandi.

Verdandi nods. Ok then, lets hear it.

The robot pauses, and a small whirring noise emits from its head. Suddenly it turns.

New instructions recieved.

The robot walks out of the building.

Verdandi shrugs and turns back to her papers.

The young man sits down on his cot staring at the celing, worried about something.

In the morning he leans up against the cell door and tries to pick the lock without anyone noticing.

Silas wakes up and looks over at the cells.

"You wouldn't be doing something you shouldn't now, would you?"

[McBish]

The young man backs up slipping the pieces of wire up his sleeve. He gives Silas a mean look but doesn't say anything.

[Silas]

Silas sighs and walks over.

"Hand it over."

[McBish]

Don't know what your talking about. He sits down on the cot in the back of the cell.

Silas sighs and makes a note for the other officers.


Man in cell has lockpick/wire.

[McBish]

The faires go to realse the young man, and wonder if they need to do something since resiting arrest now carries the punishment of a 3 day probation. Then they remember their scrying bowl. They open the cell door and the young man looks at them suspiciously. He edges towards the door then leaves. He almost runs out the door.

They sigh as they spot the kid picking some pockets almost as soon as he leaves the station. They groan as they watch him try to pick Iames's pocket.

The groans turn to looks of horror as Iames causes the boy pain they look around for an officer.

Aerin comes through the portal.

Krista goes to Aerin Um... Aerin you know how we have been watching criminals on parole with scrying? Well we saw the kid who was arrested yesterday and he was picking pockets and... well he picked Iames's pocket and Iames sort of punished him. Hard.

Aerin bites her lip. Describe the scene to me.

Verdandi wakes up at her desk and realizes she needs to make some more purchases from the OmniShop. She takes another dip from the police station's funds and goes into the streets.[hr]Verdandi comes in and hesitates, wondering where she should put Iames and Rell.

The Agent comes out of a coma, and somehow manages to fall off his chair, and land on his face.
He mutters a curse under his breath about his unusual affinity for random comas, and heads to Trog's.

Verdandi sighs and sets Rell in one of the cells, and opens another for Iames.

Iames enters the cell.

Verdandi shuts the cell door with a shake of her head. We will probably have to compensate you once we find someone guilty.

Iames shrugs. I've probably got some unpunished misdeeds somewhere I can't think of right now. Compensation is unnecessary.

Under Town law we cannot find you guilty for... anything outside of town... Verdandi suddenly looks thoughtful.

Krista flies over to Vera. Um... we did see him assault the young man who we just realsed. To be fair the young man was picking his pocket.

The agent is teleported in by his player, and he is put in the quarters till his coma ends. The player teleports to Trog's before anyone can notice him.

Rell wakes up in his cell, and looks around. "Woah, what? Wasn't I just drinking in Trog's?"

A worried little girl runs into the police station.

I want my mummy! She ran away when the big people started fighting at Trogs! MUMMY! WHERE ARE YOU!?

The little girl starts crying.

Narfang runs over to comfort the child.

He fishes in his pocket and produces a cookie for the young girl.

Agent Omega comes out of a coma, and for once he is in the quarters, and not with his face lying against his desk.
Without his usual cursing of the comas, he leaves the station.

Thank you, even though is is rather peaceful in this cell I do believe that it is time that I return to my duties.

A shadow elemental floats in through the wall and looks around, apparently searching for something. It floats around the building and occasionally rifles through papers and files on desks. Upon not finding whatever it was looking for it leaves via wall.

Aerin lifts her head from her desk and blinks blearily. Ugh... remind me not to do that again, she mutters to noone in particular. Aerin gets up and goes and checks to see if Vera is in her office.

Verdandi is sleeping on her desk.

Aerin shakes Vera by the shoulder. Vera, wake up.

Agent Omega, who was in a coma at Trog's a moment ago, comes out of a portal and is unceremoniously toosed at his own desk by his player. He slides off the desk, and into the chair, and both he and the chair fall to the ground.

His player attempts to sneak out of the station before anyone notices he's there.

Aerin tries to wake Vera again. Vera... She shakes her shoulder a bit more vigorously this time.

Phew. She looks busy. I might be able to get out of here without getting arrested.

Magtok's player accidently trips on one of the agent's guns on his way out, and quacks, moos, booms, and screams come from his cloak when he hits the ground.

Oh crap, I'm dead now.

Aerin sighs and goes out into the main part of the station. Who're you?

Rell looks up at Aerin. "I don't remember coming here, or doing anything wrong. Can I come out now?? I'm the one that you cured blindness of, remember? I didn't do anything."

The player thanks the gods that Aerin didn't realize he was responsible for tossing an officer into a desk, and onto the floor.

He then picks up his things and telports away.

Agent Omega comes out of a coma, and finds his right foot caught in his chair's legs.
Aw, crap.

After a few minutes of struggling, he gets himself free and flies to Trog's.

Aerin carries Rizzen into the station and puts him in a cell, then sits down to write up a report.


Upon being informed by the fairies that a subject on parole was about to be engaged in a brawl in Trog's, I left with great haste and arrived at the Tavern shortly before violence broke out. Aesa had taken steps to protect the boy, and the aggresor, a dark elf, was continuing to act belligerent toward the patrons. After a brief scuffle, he fell unconscious and I brought him back to the station and incarcerated him. Charges are 1 count of resisting arrest, 1 count of assaulting an officer, and 8 charges of attempted murder.

Rizzen's foot twitches and small fragments of shadows trickle into his diminished one.

The large gash in Rizzen's side is leaking a steady stream of blood and resists the efforts of the shadows to close up.

Aerin sighs and rubs her temples.

Blood starts to seep out of the cell. As Rizzen's shadow diminishes further, more and more shadow stuff tries to frantically stall it.

Aerin notes Rizzen's worsening condition and takes him out of his cell, then casts cure minor wounds to stabilize him.

Having stabilized the dark elf, Aerin puts him back in his cell.

The wound snaps closed, but leaves a nice scar. The shadow stuff traffic begins to slow back down to a slow trickle. Rizzen groans and his fingers twitch.

Iames appears in the station and heads over to Aerin.

Aerin looks up from her book. Hello, Iames. She smiles.

Iames bends down and kisses her passionately, his expression beginning to clear.

Verdandi slowly wakes up again, feeling rather out of it.

Aerin kisses him back, then pulls back. Well, that was sudden, she says, then grins, not that I'm complaining. What brought that on?

I was having trouble keeping myself under control, Iames explains. Thank you for being here for me. He straightens up and smiles at her.

Verdandi shakes her head, trying to clear it.

Aerin stands and hugs him. I'm glad to be able to help.

Rizzen shoots up.

He notices the prison cell bars. He groans.

He slides back and props himself up against the wall. He tries to clear his thoughts with the shadows and notices that absolutely nothing happens.
