From his window in the Archmage's tower, Valen surveyed the chaos unfolding throughout Jakkack. He had no doubts as to his ability... with the proper tactics, destroying the rebellious filth would be child's play.

But what purpose would it serve? The Dark Empire was destined to ruin regardless, and his master already beginning work elsewhere, work that would surely bring Haven to its knees.

He smiled grimly, revealing sharp fangs, and turned away from the window...

to face his lord, and their new servant.

Casting Greater Teleport.

Elanshai returns Valen's smile. Communication passes between them silently, rapidly.

Within a few moments, four swarms of bats emerge from the night air. They pass around the company of vampires once, before flying back into the distance.

One swarm is to scout the area around them, the other three to search for Haven's navy. They serve Elanshai until released, and will communicate empathically for a range of 1 mile.

In the meantime, Valen gathers three scrolls and sets to work creating a bond between the three of them...

Casting Telepathic Bond, followed by Permanency, three times. Bonding Elanshai to Valen, Valen to Gilgonn, Gilgonn to Elanshai.

Because every secret society needs to be able to communicate :smallcool:

And now, we wait until we learn where exactly we are, and where the navy is. :smallamused:

Gil sat restlessly, taking little interest when his master's newest lackey arrived. He fidgeted with his dagger, running it through a cloth steeped in poison.

As his master cast a spell on him, he felt the already present knot of presence that Elanshai took in his mind leap to the fore front along with a new prescence, Valen.

Twisting his mouth in disgust, if either of them could feel his surface thoughts or emotions, they would feel a growing bloodlust, frightening and beyond the thrist of a vampire, the solid instintual need to kill.
