So me and some friends are building decks in EDH format using Custom Commanders.

I designed a commander for the fun of things, but now I have no clue how to build him into a deck, any suggestions?

I personally, don't like it. It opens up a mess of rules and at the same time, it doesn't open any new design space. Because of the rules, you will end up not being able to cast cards if your commander stops being 5c and your deck will become illegal. Only thing it is worth doing with that commander is also 5c good stuff.

Anything else you got in mind? Maybe an official commander?
