Ok so Point Blank Shot and Rapid Shot should work for a Thrower right?

Well what other feats are accessible to someone who throws items?

I ask because I am playing a Pirate Theme character who carries a number of Harpoons and uses them for lock down purposes.

So is there any?

If you're going strength-heavy, Brutal Throw gives you str-to-hit instead of dex. Far Shot can help a lot too.

Throw Anything from Complete Warrior lets you treat any melee weapon you are proficient with as a throwing weapon with a range increment of 10 feet. So no more -4 penalty to your attack roll when you throw your cutlass at the enemy in a last desperate attempt.

Power Throw from Complete Adventurer is the Power Attack feat for thrown weapons. Brutal Throw, one of Power Throw's prerequisite feat, lets you use your Strength modifier for ranged attack rolls with thrown weapons.

The feat Neraph Throw from the Planar Handbook lets you deny the Dexterity bonus to AC of the target you're throwing your weapon against once per encounter per enemy. Very good for rogues.

The feat Ranged Weapon Mastery from Player's Handbook 2 gives more damage, and also increases the ranged increment range.

Far shot can also be quite important, and the feat Manticore's Sting from the book Dragonmarked functions somewhat like Manyshot, and increases the range increment of daggers, darts and shuriken.

if you are open to dragon mag material, #304 has a bunch of them starting on page 70. they require some prereqs, but the feats themselves arent too bad. (Ones basically power attack, one lets you add 1 1/2 your strength on thrown weapons, one lets you bullrush with an atleast 2 lb thrown weapon, etc etc.)

You'll want Quickdraw so you can throw multiple harpoons per round.

Thurbane beat me too it, Quick Draw.

However remember your carrying capacity if you're carrying around multiple harpoons.

It's worth noting that a rogue build with 2WF peppering the enemy with shuirikens and sneak atk bonuses before Quick Drawing your main weapon is very effective.

Happy building.

Gauntlets of Extended Range, I think?

Gloves worth 2000 gold in the MiC that doubles your throwing distance. Very handy and very cheap.

Gloves of endless javelins also provide an endless supply of +1 javelins as a free action.

The feat Ranged Weapon Mastery from Player's Handbook 2 gives more damage, and also increases the ranged increment range.

It's +2 to Attack Rolls as well as damage

But it also requires at least 4 levels in Fighter or some other way of getting Weapon Specialization.

Have you thought about Bloodstorm Blade? Two levels of it will let you treat your ranged attacks as melee so you can use Power Attack and other melee feats with it. Four Levels will let you make iterative attacks with a single thrown weapon. It also gives Throw anything as a bonus feat.

Needs Point Blank Shot, an Iron Heart Strike and Maneuver, and 8 ranks in balance to enter. Its greater for thrower build. Power Attacking with thrown weapons is very nice for effectiveness.
