Sand Shaping Special Sand

Ok awhile ago i had a player that played as a sand shapper and he brought up a question about thier ability to create weapons from sand. Count a weapon made of sand be enchanted somehow?
Also could you use shapesand or slumber sand with spells that requires sand to be used and add slumber sands special sleep effect to the spell used?

I don't think you can make a sand shaped weapon enchanted. You can make it masterwork, but to even make it a +1 weapon you need to work on it for 2 days and they only last 10 min per sand shaper level. So you could if you could find a way to make them last long enough, but i'm not sure it is possible. You could use the magic weapon spell though.

OK that was the problem i came up with. What about the second question, could you use slumber sand or slashing sand with the sand shape ability or sand spells that manipulate existing sand to add their effects to it?
