Can eidetic spellcaster count as a virtual feat for spell mastery? Or would that be DM adjudication?

Isn't there some feat somewhere that lets you spontaneously cast your Spell Mastery spells? That'd be ridiculously overpowered with Eidetic Spellcaster.

And, I suspect, is the reason the OP is asking, because I don't know of anything else that requires Spell Mastery.

Uncanny Forethought (from Exemplars of Evil) lets you leave a certain number of spell slots open per day, which can be used to cast any spell you've selected with Spell Mastery (provided that you use an appropriate spell slot). Signature Spell (from Player's Guide to Faerun) lets you choose a single spell you've selected with Spell Mastery and spontaneously convert prepared spells into that spell, like a Cleric may do with cure spells.
