From the text for Precocious Apprentice:

"Choose one 2nd-level spell from a school of magic you have access to. You gain an extra 2nd-level spell slot that must be used initially to cast only the chosen spell."

The requirements are:

"arcane caster level 1st, Spellcasting ability (Int or Cha) 15"

I note that it does not specifically say you must choose an *arcane* spell. If someone had a way to cast a 0th level divine spell without a divine caster level (and I don't know offhand if any of those exist), could that be used to give your wizard Cure Moderate Wounds?

Perhaps more importantly, could you stack this by taking Precocious Apprentice twice?

1) Is the spell from a school you have access to?
Cure Moderate Wounds is not part of the Wizard Conjuration school. So no the Wizard 1 cannot select Cure Moderate Wounds.

2) No you cannot take a feat twice unless it specifically says you can.

"If a character has the same feat more than once, its benefits do not stack unless indicated otherwise in the description. (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/feats.htm#featDescriptions)"

Note that while Precocious Apprentice specifically allows you to cast the spell in question, and you could pick a spell not from your class spell list as long as it's in a school of magic you have access to, your access to that specific spell will be short-lived:
"When you become able to cast 2nd-level spells, you lose the
benefit described above but retain the extra 2nd-level spell slot,
which you can use to prepare or spontaneously cast a spell of
2nd level or lower as you normally would."

You do not retain knowledge of that 2nd-level spell you picked, so once you get 2nd level spells from your class it's gone. Sure you can just pick a 2nd level spell that will have an impact at any character level, and only dip a single level of Wizard for Abrupt Jaunt and Precocious Apprentice to get access to that spell, and just never gain 2nd level spells normally. But I don't see how that could ever be more beneficial than just taking more Wizard levels, you're trading being a Wizard for a 2nd level non-Wizard spell.

The following might work

Human Wizard Level 1
4 Ranks in Spellcraft and Knowledge Religion
Arcane Disciple (Healing)
Precocious Apprentice (Cure Moderate Wounds)

Well, the idea would more be along the lines of using two feats for Wizard 1 / Divine Caster of Some Kind 1 / off into theurging classes for a while. Problem is, there's still a 6 rank skill requirement and thus one more level required. Now you're a full spell level behind in your casting progression and why were we doing this again?

The best way would still seem to be Alternate Spell Source with Wizard 3 / Divine Caster 1 / Mystic Theurge 10 / More theurging stuff 6. (or Cleric3/Wizard1 if you feel like being a CoDzilla with Teleport) It loses 1 level of casting progression, but lets you play cleric and wizard simultaneously for a really useful support character.

Oh well!

While they are all lower tier and, from a strict optimization standpoint inferior to being a pure wizard (By which logic pretty much everything in D&D is), there are a few prestige classes that require arcane casting as a pre-req but then either do not advance it or advance on a seperate progression, Arcane Archer for example, that can benefit from a one level dip into wizard and never look back or advance it.
