Animate Objects

Is there anyway to get animate objects as a wizard spell? I know its apart of the chaos and limbo domains so that one feat could work, but lets say in this instance the particular wizard is lawful and not really that religious so he wouldn't really have access to that.

EDIT: preferably without having to take any class dips, for whatever reason this guy wants to be a single class'ed wizard, or maybe he already knows what PRC classes he wants and doesn't want to delay them or something.

I know you have to be high level but you can duplicate the animate object spell with wish.

I would let him research it at the appropriate level.

I don't actually understand why Animate Objects wouldn't be on the Wizard spellbook, anyway. It looks like a Wizard spell more than a cleric spell.

we house rule it that's its a wizard 6th
same as heat metal, we lost those ones in the shift from the 2nd to 3rd
