Is there anyone have a ghost or spirit like race template off hand, I can't find any and i really do want to have to create one from the MM.

if not, thanks anyway.

Ghost (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/ghost.htm) is already a template...

...or do you mean something premade, like to avoid having to apply a template to something? There's the various Spirit Folk races from OA (though they lack a lot of the key features of playing as a ghost, like being incorporeal).

What are you trying to do?

*edit* Also, listen to the guy who posted after me. He knows whereof he speaks.

There's a whole sourcebook devoted to this: Ghostwalk. It's not OGL, so I can't post the exact details. The short version is that it makes playing a ghost a lot less annoying than the MM version.

Ghostwalk has a "Ghost."

Ghost have a savage progression, which can be used to start with a lower level ghost.

There is an old item from a 3.0 article that makes any undead out of a corpse. I don't remember which one, though.

In a Wizards article, there's a ghost template class that you don't have to take all at once. It's very good, though you won't want to take all four levels.

The ghost savage progression is here. (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20040117a)

And I don't care for Ghostwalk. Once you become a ghost, you can only take levels in one of, like, two classes, and they're these weird outsider things made of JellO.

Just take a few levels of the ghost class above and buy off the LA as you go, if you can.
