[Chimaera]

Everyone heard about the legendary mountain empire of Munte Necucerit: a stronghold so impenetrable deep in the mountains that when the entire empire fell to the orc's nations the Realms of Serpentis River couldn't believe: more than six kingdoms tried to conquer it and put an end to the tyrant Allucard and bring peace to Necucerit and they all failed!

But then the orcs come and, not only capture it but also slay the tyrant and put his head on a spike.

With the fall of Munte Necucerit the Realms found themselves in a bad situation: tyrant as he was, Allucard's kingdom was a strong shield that blocked the Crimson Kingdoms, the united orc nations, to invade the green plains of Serpentis.

The orcs pillage and drink and loot Munte Necucerit.
The Realms prepare for the war to come...

Looking out into the sand swept wastes he had called home in this new life, the once proud emperor looked west towards the mountains he once ruled over, and where he had just come back from after retrieving an old friend. One of the few he could still trust at least in this new life.

It had to be about mid morning by now and his new teacher had still not tried teaching him something new, no matter, Alucard was the patient type. More then willing to let his prey come to him, for his teacher was indeed prey in his eyes. A means to an end, and when he outlived his usefulness he would be put down. A sacrifice to please Lady Fierna he told himself as he looked over to the rift in time and space that had just opened up showing the fire swept landscape around her castle and the small creature that emerged from it.

Standing no more then two feet tall, with horns being most of his height, Alucard liked to tease. Stepped forth an imp with skin as red as a cooked lobster, arcane runes scribed into his skin by Alucard long ago showing ownership of the creature as well as a warning to all who would try and harm him. He was always watching. Belphegor what is it our mistress wishes us to due now? Or were you just enjoying the warmth before I bring you into the grandest mountain range you have ever been? Alucard smirked as he turned to acknowledge the small little creature with the flames dancing along his body.

Oddly enough Alucard relied on Belphegor, just as much as the imp relied on him. While Alucard protected him from those who wished to harm the imp for the mistrif he caused, in return Belphegor was a steady source of information, and always seemed to find ways to subtly corrupt people. If only he could get the creature to stop fighting with his newest prize things would go much smoother. After all it was not often one could say they controlled a succubus. A bold statement in the least, and one he made sure to use to his advantage from time to time to annoy the others who would come to train in this cave like fortress.

@Allucard: as the hellish portal open up and the red-skinned imp step out of it, you see Balphegor with an appreensive look at his face.

"I'm back master and have some good news.. I guess", the imp says as he bows to his master, "Lady Fierna sent word. Not her, but someone in her regards, saying she was pleased by your deed in dismantling the Grazz't Cult but...", he then look at his feet and hesitated a little, "You see... It was a partial win, some demon managed to funnel Lilith's and the ritual's power to himself, someone who can become a problem. Also, some of the acolytes managed to escape the slaughter".

He then face you, "She want to test you once more before she can rely on you. Like a final test before being accepted in the Fiery Court".

He then draws a scroll from apparent nowhere and reads:

"You show great promise, but we still need to test your allegiance to the Nine Hells. Show full sucess this time and you'll be able to come to the Fiery Court and get your rewards. Fail and you'll probably come back to Hell as an empty shell"

"A while ago one of our agents was captured while on the field in the Minnervan Forests. He was looking for some magical item of some sort... a painting of a human lord. Details are unknown"

"Discover if he still alive and resume his mission to finish your test. You wont have any help from us, but Balphegor will be able to choose to help you or not".

He then stop and the scroll dissapears, "So what now master?"


@Lilith: you wake up in the shadow of mountain range. You can hear the mortal and the imp talking something but can't hear it at all. Looking at both o fthem you feel kinda humiliated and feel rage building up inside you, memories of your fall due Dante's work and then being binded by Allucard.

"So what now master?", you finnaly hear the imp saying.

You then put your best smile and get ready for another day.

@Winterborn: you wake up from a bad dream. You were supposed to be an hero, a champion, but you never thought that your friend Emperor could be so hated. It just took a few words from your mouth ( "I'm Ron Winterborn, champion of Munte Necucerit" ) to put you in a dire situation.

The guards where on you before you could even draw your weapon. Being subdued by then, you was being taken to Whitestone Hall to be interrogated and probably get a death sentence for being ally with the dread tyrant, but then a legion of devils assaulted the carriage and saved you.

You get up from the carriage remain's just beside the road and see the strange woman looking at the wizard and the red devil who helped save you.

You take a look the Everstorm Mountain at distance, but without the it's white peak, before getting up.

Alucard stalks back and forth, both his hands held together behind his back as he listens to the report. So this demon escaped, as well as a few cultists. he says as he walks back and forth, back and forth as he replays the mission in his head that he had been given. So Mistress seems to think this demon can become a problem, and she sent another to go get a painting? Alucard notes out of all objects a painting of a human lord no doubt. Perhaps it is some sort of prison of some kind, after all I am still learning this magic stuff and know it is not impossible. My teacher did say there were those who could lock your soul into a container of some kind. Perhaps they used this picture instead. Alucard says to himself before looking up to Belphegor, his fiery eyes, tainted by the evils he had witnessed in hell seeming to burn with an inner flame of ambition perhaps.

Then their was this demon, He could be tied to the missing cultist, but I think that would be to convenient. Unless he was openly declaring war on her, which would be foolish as the blood wars have been going on for so long only because both sides dump everything they have into the battle. Alucard says looking over to see his demon pet awakening. Well look who has decided to wake up? Did you enjoy your sleep? Alucard asks looking at Lilith before turning to Belphegor and smiling at the devil he adds. While you were being useless it seems Belphegor has gotten us something useful. We know that a few of your people escaped, I am a bit surprised to be honest, I thought I had ordered them all to be dead. Nothing I can do about that now though, a pity that other demon got away with your powers by the way, making you weak. Alucard says as he slowly walks up to her and as he gets closer, until she is within arms reach, and like a cobra his arm shots forward grabbing one of the horns atop her head. I told you not to use this form by the way, change it. After that we will be taking off on our next mission. Alucard says as he leaves heading over to his powerful Goliath ally Ron Winterborn.

In truth the old emperor was surprised he was even still alive after the betrayal of his kingdom by one of his generals, and the sword that he had kept as a trophy stolen. The fact the goliath survived the onslaughter and got only captured after leaving the kingdom amused him to no end. And the shock on his stony face as I had arrived with a legion of devils to break him free was the most amusement I had gotten in so long. It took a while for it to sink in that I had made a deal with lady Fierna and as such she had granted me a new body and a chance at revenge. But when I proved beyond a doubt it was me he was more then happy to once again become one of my closest allies.

General Winterborn we have a new mission from Lady Fierna. Alucard says as he comes to the towering goliath, One I know you enjoy, a simple search and destroy mission. We will be going to Minnervan Forests where there happens to be a painting of a human lord we are to capture and bring back here after securing. Anything that gets in our way is to be killed without mercy, and I mean dead dead. Seems a few of the cultist of Graz'zt I thought were all dead got away. Which leads to my next point, if we find any of them capture them. They will make the perfect sacrifice I think, and poor little Lilith would hate to see her cultists go to waste after all. Is that understood general?

@Allucard: "The problem is...", the imp says, "that we went all the way north to get near your mountain home to save the goliath and will have now to go to Minnerva Kingdom. It will takes you at least two weeks just to get there! Also, I'm banned from getting aid or portals to help us".


@All: Balphegor grins as he see you grab Lilith's horn and mistreat her, but his grin suddenly dissapear as he know he may be the next if he don't do the same.

"Hi mommy", he says taking on the shape of human child with a mocking smile.

You were in Darabund hunting the cultists and thought it would be nice to take a look at your lost empire before you get the message from Hell.

You attacked and saved the goliath who was under arrest and being taken to the City of Whitestone Hall, home of the Ordained Order of Heironeous, a bunch of inquisitors and templars who always kept an eye on Munte Necucerit.

Waking up in the mortal world with no real powers was more then a bit annoying, however as bad as that was it was nothing in comparison to working for this mortal thing who had forced me to work for him. One of these days I was just going to snap his neck, and that little imp's as well. Lilith was thinking as she felt a sharp pain as she was rudely pulled up from her bed by her horns and demand to change into her flesh shell. Why of course master, what could I have been thinking. Lilith replies to his mind, clear annoyance on her face as she takes on the form of a red haired beauty (http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/seannel/seannel1011/seannel101100070/8239602-lithe-adult-caucasian-belly-dancer-with-red-hair-and-a-blue-belly-dancing-outfit-performing-steps-on.jpg). Once pleased with the image she had taken she began having her armor shift until it seemed to acenturate this mortal disguise.

With Alucard gone Lilith looked back towards where her cult had been. So a few survived, perhaps they will come searching for me, and when they do I will be able to make my escape. After all he made me swear not to harm him in any way, Not to stay and fight no matter what. Lilith grinned as she saw the loophole in their bargain. It was small, but it could be taken advantage of at the right moment.

Finished getting ready Lilith made her way over towards the stony mortal that seemed to owe some loyalty to this mortal calling itself her master while serving devils. I am ready when the two of you are.

"I guess the stonehead here is still confused, master", the imp say getting closer to Ron, "Maybe he doesn't recognize you too much after you was sent to Hell".

People who knew Ron usually said he had a collection of facial expressions as rich as a piece of stone. Ron's closest friends would know that, in some really rare momments, he could get angry or happy and show a shy smile. Such was the case when he Allucard and his new followers rescued him from certain death.

After his former emperor took a hard time explaining in details what happened to him in the meantime, the curiosity and happiness of Ron were replaced by the enormous hunger he was feeling, and he could only think of food. While the other three were talking and planning the goliath got himself busy eating one of Allucard's suplies.

He found his enormous sledgehammer hanging outside the carriage, probably a trophy his capturers were intending to keep.

"The plan sounds simples enough." He says with his mouth full of bread. "I'm ready when you are."

He completely ignores the imp.

Although I enjoy the reference to Minaerva, this place is actually an island, a mountain range in the middle of the ocean. It could have some influence over Smugler's Harbor though, but for now, could you replace it with another kingdom?

It's ok Balphegor it would only draw attention to us from those damn templars anyways if their were reports of travelers and devils. Alucard says looking to the imp as he watches it turn into the disguise of a small boy. At least he is wise enough to know not to fool around. Alucard notes as he feels the horns that had been in his hands vanishing as he turns to look at the woman by his side, hair a deep scarlet color, no doubt inspired by the idea running threw her mind of gutting him to see what color his blood was. Her emerald eyes as rich as the finest gems mined in dwarven halls made him have to remind himself of what she was more then once. And it was for that reason he turned and walked away leaving the imp and succubus to annoy each other while he talked tactics with his general.

The plan will rely on stealth mostly and blending in. We could take this carriage and have the other two look like guards escorting prisoners while we sit in the back of course. Alucard says explaining the safest way to do this. Or we could simply stay off the main roads to avoid patrols, either way runs risks mind you, all depends on how much you want to stretch your arms for the day really old friend. Alucard says knowing the damage that hammer of his could inflict.

"Travelling off the road will keep our goal even farther", says the imp, "Not that i'm complainning, but since they got one of us as prisioner that doesn't seems good...", he then look at you with wary eyes, "for him, of course".

Balphegor your kind believe the strong survive, and the weak die correct? If that is so why are you so worried about this person who was captured? They were either too weak to be important, or foolish and reckless. Alucard says, with no strong emotions clouding his voice as he speaks. If we rush headlong into something we will only be captured just like the other was. We know nothing about the place we are going into and know they have captured someone that serves our mistress. This would imply they would expect a response, however devils as we all know have no problem taking their time and waiting for an opening. Alucard says wondering who this person was to get such a response from Balphegor, after all their mission was to get a painting not the person who was captured.

"Like I said my lord, we can take all the time of the world, but... the more it takes, the more I'll be banned from Hell and you know I sure like it there", he replies to you, "It would also be good to show godspeed too, even not said anything like a time limit here, Lady Fierna would be happy with quick results".

You can see truth in the imp's words, but there's also something he's hiding or twisting there

Listening to the imps words an amused grin comes across her mortal face as she walks over to the imp in the disguise of a child. Now you wouldn't be keeping secrets from mommy and daddy would you dear? I would hate to see what punishment your father would come up with for you if you did. Though I am sure I could suggest a few. Lilith says as she mentally sends to Alucard, He is not telling you the entire truth you know. And here I thought you demanded obedience.

"What are you talking about, demoness?", says Balphegor as rage fills his voice, "You better not listen to her, cause she will sure eat you whole if you do".

At distance you can see black clouds forming.
It doesnt need much to know a storm is coming.

Better me gobble him all up, then he make a deal that has tiny fine print. We all know what I will do should I get free. You creatures though, your always scheming. Lilith says enjoying the rage filled face on the imp in a child's disguise. Aww is someone going to throw a temper tantrum because his mommy wont let him do what he wants? Lilith asks before laughing and looking back to Alucard, Not my head on the line, so believe who you want. I however have no reason to twist the truth at this moment. I would do so quickly though, those clouds say a storms coming in.

Back and forth, back and forth, these two bickering had been all he heard the past few days and it was getting more then frustrating. ENOUGH! BOTH OF YOU. Alucard demanded as he raised his voice tinged with the raspyness from his time in the hell's drying out his voice. Both of you better start talking and now otherwise you both will be punished. Alucard says as he heads over to the cart and makes sure everything is secure for their journey.

After the shouting, Balphegor stop fighting Lilith, "Ok ok, but I won't say I'm sorry to that soul eater demon".

Allucard prepare the horses and the carriage, storm getting closer and closer.

If there was anything else to discuss the storm didn't care.
You get back at the road after two hours of Balphegor glaring at Lilith.

"So? We go through the roads or go down the fields? What's the plan?"

While the storm is raging it will be safer and wiser for us to take the road. As the few who are on the road already wont ask questions as long as we all look like we are from this plane, they will be to busy trying to stay dry. After the storm we will see how things are going. Alucard says stepping into the carriage before looking back, By the way since you two don't know how to get along you will be driving in the rain. With luck you will learn something in common and learn to at least be civil. Ron are you ready to go? Alucard says as he takes a seat inside the carriage waiting for his friend to do the same so the other two could start their journey and suffer the storm.

"It will be my pleasure to stay besides mommy", he says as sarcasm overflow from him.

@Lilith: "Come on, let's our punishment start, woman", Balphegor says as he takes the form of an man at his fourties and get ready to move the carriage.

"I'll make sure I'll be the one who devour you if you try anything to my master, you filthy waste of flesh", you can hear his voice echoing in your mind

@Allucard and Ron: once inside the carriage you stare at each other as the horses begins to move through the roads as the storm rages outside and silence all bickering coming from the devil and demon there.



Somethings you must know:
Serpentis River Alliance:
There are eight kingdoms forming the Serpentis River Alliance (one created to avoid enemies from north (Munte Necucerit and the Red Kings), south and east.

Those kingdoms are: Jalavia (known for their hatred toward orcs and their arena games), Valuria (known for their valiants knights), Mercuria (known for their mages and their magecracy), Garden (know for their lush forests), Holystar (know as the Kingdom of Sun), Serpentis (know for their merchants and river pirates), Broogden (known for their giants) and Alterone (know for their treasury).

They're known because of the Serpentis River who made the hole area prosper through trades.


The Black Tower
The Black Tower is a monumental tower where four religions make home to discuss divine topics. Each religion there is on one specter of the alignments: one evil, one good, one lawful and one chaotic. Why they live together is a secret.

Smuggler's Harbor
In the past it was a city of the Alliance, but pirates from the islands of Tach attacked it and now use it as they see fit: to sell stolen goods across the world.

The King in the Ocean claim it as his own and so far all attacks from Valuria were backed off by sharkmen pirates. It is said that you can get anything illegal there, slaves included.

Seal Mountain
It's famed by the Institute of Arcane Arts, which is atop the mountain.
The place is naturally magical and arcane power flows through it.

There are legends about spelltouched creatures on it and dangerous caverns inside it, and some even say that the mountain is nothing but the tombstone of an anciant goddess of magic.

The Red Wastes
Lair of several nations of orcs, the Red Wastes is the known limit at the north of the world: no one ever walked all the way through it (except maybe orcs, but they don't tell much).

The warring clans fought each other for centuries till 30 years ago, when a group of orcs called the Red Kings put law there in a oligarchy where each king controlled a region and its tribes. There is said to be more than ten kings without any of them having more power than the rest.

Ron doesn't know Lilith and Belphegor enough to start chatting with them, something he barely does even with his closest friends*. The ammount of bickering between the two annoys him, since petty bickering is very frowed upon by the Winterborns.

Breaking the silence Allucard has start enjoyed since he entered the carriage:

"So, I get that you have a different shell to live on. And different powers with it. But there's any chance the old Allucard will return? You know, the one who commands an army instead of listening to petty demons and rescuing foolish captives."

The last part he says clearly adressing himself. In his mind, he considered the way he got captured a very dumb way to lose. He is made to solve his problems by crushing with his sledgehammer and gets very confused when he has to do some talking instead.

As Ron asks if the old him would be back Alucard only smiles and nods back at his old general. In time we will be commanding armies again. First we have to get those armies though Ron, this bickering happens to be the part I tried to keep you out of even when I led our old armies. Its politics, no one likes it. But any ruler worth their grit has to deal with it.

Aww is that affection I hear in your voice? So sweet, I'll make sure to remember that nice little tidbit when I decide what to do. Though I think making myself useful at the moment may just make you more enraged thus me amused. Lilith replies back to the imp not afraid of the tiny creatures threats. It was so far below her that she could in fact devour it if it got to close to her food one day and not even notice.

Lilith then goes silent as the storm picks up, reminding herself how odd it was the pebble skinned mortal seemed to be able to ignore her allure. Perhaps I must look like a rock to grab his attention. Though I should wait to see him in battle first, he may be able to help me get rid of the other one with a little suggestion.

The carriage keeps moving through the roads, Lilith and Balphegor bickering each other as they guide the horses, while Ron and Allucard confortably talk about past and future.

That's when the first arrow reach Balphegor's chest, the second cross right in front of his nose and the third hit his leg! Masked by the storm sounds, five road bandits shoot over the carriage, but two of them just hesitated, their arrows pointing toward Lilith.

Balphegor took 18 damage due the two arrows who hit (DR already counted), he also feel something stick in the arrow which he immediatly recognize as poison, though he's immune to it

"What are waiting, Hank? Shoot!", one of them yells to you.

"I.. I Cant!", says one of the bandits holding back.

Behind a 10ftx10ft comes the five bandits, using it to snipe at you.
They're at 30ft from Lilith and Balphegor.

(There isnt much in the terrain, so I wont post a map unless necessary)

Belphegor PoV

Things had been bad enough, rain, the demonic bitch on the side of me, and master had even said I had to get along with her. Thats when he felt it, a sharp pain in his chest as he looks down. Who the hell just shot me! And tried to use poison no less? Belphegor says to himself as well as his master as he swiftly pulls the arrows out and goes invisible. Stupid humans always with the killing first. Had they actually paid attention they would have realized their arrows would not do good against my disguise. the small imp says as he drops to the ground invisibly and uses his hands to crawl towards his attackers, a tail starting to sprout. Sure attack the guy and not shoot the demon who wants to eat your soul.

Using invisibility as a standard action, followed by him moving as close as he can to the enemies while staying low to the ground.


Alucard PoV

As Alucard feels the carriage lurch for a split second as if the horses had been spoked by something he quickly turns to his general and says as a mental reply comes in from Belphegor, Seems you will be using your hammer already. Shall we? He asks as he looks out the carriage window and summons two Fiendish ravens from the nine hells to the material plane. The sounds of their caws, as if mocking them, and the smell of sulfur and brimstone fill the air around the would be bandits letting them know they had clearly picked the wrong caravan to attack this day. As their sight is cut off from the thick cloud of sulfur that had appeared around them.

Cloudy conjuration SMI 2 Fiendish Ravens, this is more of a distraction so Ron can get out and do some hammer time. The creatures will appear at both ends of the groups, thus covering both sides with a cloud.

As the pets of the lady of the forth hear the call of one of her followers they caw in hunger as they see a portal beggining to rip forth into the mortal world. With the hunger of a Lemur the two birds speed threw the portal and flap their wings as they watch the reason why they were called. Seeing the bows Malphas and his spouse dive for the strings, trying to sever the weapons from being useful.

Both ravens will attack a bow string to make the weapons useless

"Where he went? Shoot the girl, Hank! She will make a good sex slave!", yells the one who seems to be the boss of them, the same who managed to shoo the fiendish raven to reach his bowstring.

But again Hank only point the arrow to her and do nothing.

"I... I can't! Just can't!", answer back the one who must be Hank.

Two of the bandits fire at the ravens, sending then back screaming to Hell.
Not a good day for Malphas.

"You're too soft on woman Hank!", the boss says as he too point the bow toward Lilith... and fail to overcome her sanctuary (DC 23, right?)

"Just.. what the hell?".
"I told you so, she must be a magician of some sort!"

The boss then look at the carriage and to the last bandit, "Shoot anyone getting off it"!

And so the last one point his bow to the door in wait.

EDIT: the cloudy conjuration created miss chance, forcing the banditd to shot the ravens on melee and with miss chance.

One killed Malphas, but the other failed in killing its spouse.

The one who readyed action moved away from the cloud to be able to attack whoever comes out without miss chance problems.

Balphegor can Aoo any archer who attack.

Lilith and Ron may act.

Oh my bandits, and look at all the arrows sticking out of you, its almost like your a target practice dummy. Lilith laughs as she looks at the imp that is by her side before watching him vanish. What is it mortal, can you not scar my beauty? Here allow me to sing you a song for such kindness. Lilith says as she begins to sing an epic ballad. As she sings ashes seem to float in the air around her, until they all vanish, as if consumed by some unknown force.

The colorless pearl in his necklace suddenly shines with a reddish light. Ron charges towards their leader, since Ron usually hit their leader first to demoralize his enemies.
With a rarely seen speed, his strong legs stomping the ground, he waves his sledgehammer menacingly towards the bandit's head.

Belphegor land speed is only 20ft sadly, and as i have him doing an exorist crab walk thing he is no where close to the AoO range last round.


Belphegor PoV

As Belphegor watches the clouds of sulfur appear and smells his home a thrill goes threw his spine as his scorpion like tail begins to dance back and forth as he runs on all fours the rest of the way to the enemies that had shot arrows into him. Thats when the cloud of sulfur clears and he sees Malphas being sent back to his plane. Better luck next time. The imp says as he moves as far as he can to get into a better position to flank the enemy, as well as stay out of that hammers way.


Alucard PoV

Well he had to give the fools some credit, they were able to get the jump on Belphegor, and even managed to hit Malphas down in the confusion of the fog. However they would not be of any more trouble as he watched Ron step out of the carriage, his hammer in hand. The mess that was left behind brought amusement to the emperors eyes as he thought of what his next move should be. I know, I will make Ron grow. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8G6ZKE3ztYo) Alucard says with an amused grin as a beam of lighting releases from his staff and strikes Ron in the chest, making him grow in size.

As Malphas spouse watches her mate go back to serve the forth lady she lets out a haunting caw, as her wings fly back and her talons go in to gouge out her enemies eyes.

With a giant goliath and a infernal bird trying to kill them, not saying the song that could easily be their dirge, the bandits try to counterattack the best they can.

"You killed my brother, freak! I'll capture you and send you to with all the others stoneheads to Fort Massacre!", says a very affraid Hank, as he tumble away and shot the horizont trying to get Ron's head, "The orcs will have fun killing you all together!".

The rest of the bandits does the same but don't see the invisible threat that is Balphegor (which can Aoo one of them due to shoting on melee with him) as they have better luck shoting Ron for 11 damage.

Even with the song's effect, they still managed to tumble away from the sledgehammer, but barely.

Lilith and Ron may act.

As Belphegor sees his moment to strike, as quick as a snake his tail lashes out, trying to inflict a deadly poison into their veins.

As Lilith sees the little men running away in fear, calling her a witch, the demoness feigns hurt at being called such a name. Now how could you call me a witch? Would a witch sing you such a beautiful song to die too? She asks letting go of her previous spell as she looks to her allies, annoyed to have to use her powers to benefit them she shighs as she wishpers into each ones mind, plucking the strings in their heads that would incite rage into their very being.

Dirge of discord lasts for 10 rounds after I stop concentrating on it so we are safe on that, I have also just cast rage (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/rage.htm) on Ron, the raven and the filthy imp. So please apply it to your sheets so you do not forget it. Don't want to lose the benefiits after all.:smalltongue:

The frightening goliath gets even more frigthening. His mind promptly denies the frenzied state induced by Lilith's song.

"I apreciate your help, demon, but don't mistake brutality for stupidity."

He step further closer to the opponents and shouts an order to the imp.
"Quick, you can do better than that."

As quick as he shouted he slams his sledgehammer in his foes heads.

He 5 step to southwest and uses swift to grant the imp another turn. He then full attack his opponents, beginning with whoever is weakest.

After hearing the former commander voice, Balphegor fill himself filled with morale and can act again.

Belphegor PoV

As Belphegor goes invisible once more a smile comes across his diabolic face as his body moves around covered in flames that throw off heat that seems to surround them in an invisible aura that shimmers and sways.

Just describing the invisibility as when you are looking at fire above it you see the shimmering. He is simply moving to a position to flank again.


Alucard PoV

As Alucard watches his allies and enemies moving about the field he watches as one in particular gets closer to the carriage. Not trusting Lilith to defend him he pokes his staff out the window of the carriage and from its tip erupts a large orb of fire that flies at the bandits chest.

As the raven watches the enemies trying to retreat an unearthy caw comes from its beak as it flies to attack their enemy once more.

@Allucard: You look at the battle: a failed ambush, as the bandits can't stop but shake their legs. This shivering make one of the bandits almost dive toward the orb of fire you tossed to him, instead of diving out of its way

As a result, the bandit run in flames for a few seconds before becoming a burning corpse. Even from the carriage the smell of burning flesh reach your nostrils, remembering of the first time you found yourself in Hell.

Through you empathic link you can sense Balphegor's joy and excitement.

@Ron: the last bandid try to shot you, shouting at you: "You should be caged, you freak monster! Caged like the others in some rotten cellar!" he then tries to tumble away, but Lilith's hindering song manage to take his balance off and he fall head first in the ground, leavin ghim mercillessly at your feet.

You can Aoo him if you want.

Ron's father always said: "Take a prisoner when you can. People hold their lives to dearly and can offer great rewards when you offer them hope they will live another day."

With that in mind, he forgoes an attack of opportunity to flail him with a grapple:

"Or the demon could use some of her fancy enchantments to turn him into a mindless piece of crap. That would work too. But first I have a few questions:
Are you somewhat related to the ones who captured me?"
Asks Ron. More than once the bandits said he should be caged, which he was very recently.

"We did captured a pair of stoneheads a week or so before, but your race is so ugly you could have been one of them, but I'm sure you would be dead now if you went to Fort Massacre like the others", says the bandit, spitting at Ron as he says ugly.

@Lilith: you know Fort Massacre to be one orc city in the Red Wastes known for their arenas and slave-pits.

If he did that to Ron he is dead. Maybe a strengh check to break his neck?

As the bandit's spittle begin to slide in his face, Ron break down his neck before he could protest or tell any better information.

The storm keep rainning, leaving you four in silence looking at the dead.

"So what? Let's go guys! There's a long road ahead of us", says Balphegor to you all, "The stoneboy here did what he had to, so let's move!".

Balphegor stay still waiting for you guys, as he get back to his disguise.

Aluccard stays in the carriage the entire time watching the scene unfold around him, and watching as Ron snapped the mans neck in his arms as if he were a twig. Now Ron what did we learn from him? That people are rounding up your kind and trying to bring them to the arena. This could work to our advantage you know. We place a small bounty on the heads of your kind to be brought to us alive. And when they get to whereever we are staying we could kill the bandits. This would help us weed out the fools who would dare harm your kind, and allow us to once more have our army back.

[Chimaera]

"And what about Lady Fierna? He have no time to help save some rare animal from extinction!", says Balphegor as Allucard tell his idea, "An army will come to you master, after you get acess to the Fiery Palace".

Did I say we would stop moving? Alucard asks his servant as he hears the imp threw the carriage walls and taps it with his walking stick. We are still carrying out the mission given to us, however it is food for thought. The lady would not want all her resources used, and spreading her name across the material plane is why I was brought back. Alucard says to his familiar.

"Whatever. Let's keeping going then".

Unless someone stop Balphegor he'll keep guiding the carriage, as his wounds slowly close.

And then the carriage goes through the day.

On the next morning the sun rise shy in a foggy day and it goes with some raining from time to time. But nothing more than that.

So the orcs seem to be rounding up people again, I wounder how the slave pits are doing around this time? If the bandits are correct I know they at least have a good show going on for us to enjoy. Lilith says to herself as she watches the others come back to the carriage.

[Chimaera]

The night falls in the roads, a gentle rain begins to fall and the road get surrounded by fogs. Both Balphegor and Lilith are tired from driving in the rain and the fog begin to become a problem.

@Lilith: you're tired from the rain and cold outside, that's when the imp look at you and ask: "Truce? Just for the night?"

He thens stop driving and get down on the road and knocks the door.

You wait a little outside there when you see something big, moving in the fogs. Or wait, was that your imaginaton?

@Allucard and Ron: you hear soeone knocking in the door, as the carriage sudden stop.

"We cant keep going with this fog, master. If we do we risk getting the wheels in a hole or something. Can we stop for the night?"

Alucard had spent the night before looking at the items they had collected, explaining to his general that they were indeed of the magical nature, though beyond that he was not aware. And so it came as no surprise when the knock came on the door telling him they could not go any father. That is fine Balphegor you have done well. Have Lilith set up camp you go scout the immediate area. Alucard says knowing his familiar could easily go invisible and do a fair enough job if he didn't rush.

Turning to look at Ron Alucard says, There is one thing I have learned since being reborn Ron, that the weather can be impacted by those with magical powers. As such be on edge tonight, this fog troubles me. Alucard says running his hands down the slick black staff he carried in his hands.

Yea so basically Alucard stays inside the carriage until tents are set up, when they are traveling he stays inside for the fact he can fire stuff out windows and use it as cover.

[Chimaera]

"I'll scout the perimeter, master", says Balphegor leaving invisible.

"Do that, Blaphegor, it'll be fun. You haven't got enough rain afterall", the imp goes mumbling as he scout.

That's when he see it: a massive giant lurking in the fogs, using some natural rocks to hide. Then another. And another.

A trio of giants whispering in giant as they watch the group.

@Allucard: you feel Balphegor's voice in your voice, only a couple of minutes after you send him scout, "Master, there are giants here, at least three of them"

As Alucard feels Balphegor's crackling voice inside his mind, like a fire burning dried wood. You have done well Balphegor. Why don't you relax until tomorrow night for such hard work. the emperor says as he looks to his general. Well Ron it seems we have three giants watching us at the least. Alucard says pointing in the direction he was given as he opens the cariage door and looks out to Lilith setting up the tent.

Lilith dear, we will be having company, please try to make them feel at home. Alucard says out loud as he relays mentaly Balphegor has spotted three giants off a little ways from our camp, why don't you read their minds and turn into something pleasing. With luck they just may join us. If not, I am sure I could feed them to someone who would enjoy a good snack. The soldiers have not been called on since we captured you after all, and I could not have them damage you.

Alucard then steps out of the carriage and holds his head high as he makes his way towards the tent that had been set up for them by Lilith, always using his black staff for support to make him appear like a weak easy target for the giants should they try to attack. For though his new body was weaker then his old it was true, his mind was just as sharp.

[Christine Daae]

As the little diablic imp on the side of her calls for a truce Lilith thinks for a moment before nodding. Arguing with him had grown boring over time with their mental duels and battles of wits. This rain didn't help either. How the humans could live in such a place was beyond her, it was cold and wet.

Just as Lilith was about to strip from her mortal form for the night she cursed as her masters voice came over their link. You want me to turn into one of those ugly beasts, you got to be kidding me. Lilith says with clear disgust and then an annoyed sigh as he body tries to reach out to their minds to find what form would please them.

[Chimaera]

With the fogs on, Lilith can't see then and peer in their minds.

[Dudu]

"Giants..." Ron mumbles, vaguely.

"I'll be honest with you, master. My hammer may be big when cracking human skulls, but it's just a stick with a piece of stone against giants. I'll try my best if the situation turns bad, but I think our best bet is the mind bending demonness right there. Strong and bulking as they are, their minds doesn't sound much stronger then ours." His eyes focusing on Lilith, who impressed him with a song that made the bandits look more pathetic than Ron initially though was possible.

He stays silent waiting for the party casters to act. He consider his usual role (beating bad guys with a hammer until they stop moving) a last resort maneuver at best in this case.

OOC: I'm considering Ron has some minimal knowledge over giants since he is a goliath.

As Alucard listens to his generals words he nods in agreement. And this is why you were always one of my favorite generals Ron, I did not need to explain everything to you. You could look over any situation and find the best way to go about it. Alucard says, gently placing one of his hands on his friends back for he could not hope to reach his shoulders and hold onto his staff. However never doubt your skills, I have learned a few tricks since last we traveled together to make a man as big as a giant just as you saw in our last battle. I have also learned how to infuse the ferocity of an animal into a persons very being, for a short period of time they can gain much of the animals powers. Alucard says kindly as he turns to Lilith, his staff pointing at where the giants should be. Let them come to us, after that destroy their minds.

You wait for some minutes till a great silhouete appears in the fogs coming quickly at you. A big chunk of rock! Then other two!

@Lilith: you was trying to figure out what could seduce a giant and was even thinking about some interesting haircuts when a big rock come right toward your direction. It seems whatever giant throwed it had not only strong will to break your sanctuary, but to do so with great precision, as the rock was aimed at your head, knocking you down. Or maybe he was just lucky, can't say for sure.

Critical hit. 54 damage. Was pushed by the hit and drop prone.

@Ron: as you stood outside with Allucard near the tents you see two massive rocks flying toward you and you friend. The one directed to you abrely hit, bvut the strong of it was enough to cause you great pain.

Ron takes 27 damage.

@Allucard: as you stand near the tent, you see the massive rock coming towards you and smash the tent right to you. it was surely aimed at you, but the mists made the giant miss.

@The party: the trio of giants step out of the mists, the two smaller carrying trunks of trees as oersizeds clubs and the taller one with another rock and slightly behind.

"You give all your shiny and we kill take only the woman", says the biggest one.

Aleucard's PoV

Aleucard was a trained warrior, and an emperor no less before he died. Predicting all the enemies strategies and taking the environment into consideration was something he was good at, and it had even helped him win battles. So when he saw the rocks flying his way he was not surprised in the least as it veered of course. However seeing Lilith and Ron both hit did catch him a bit off guard for he was expecting them both to easily be able to dodge the incoming blows as well. I see you will not do this the easy way. Its a pitty, I could have used people with your strength. Alucard says before looking to Ron. Perhaps we should show them what a real weapon is no my friend? Alucard says as he points his staff at the goliath and a beam of lighting comes down making him grow in size so that he was as large as the giants before them.

Balphegor PoV

Balphegor was not one for combat, espically with things that could easily squash him underfoot. And with this in mind he simply stayed invisible while standing on top of the rock so that when the giant went to throw it, it would be off balance and with luck miss his master.

People had never been able to harm her the first time they attacked, so when Lilith felt the boulder slam her into the ground it was all she could do to stay conscious as she watched the three giants stepped out of the fog. Hey you three dimwits why are you attacking me, I am their captive. Kill them and I will happily go with you. Lilith says as her magic makes her allies faster and improves their reflexes.

The sudden rock in his face really pissed him off, but both buffs casted by his allies give him enough courage to face his historical enemies.

"Looks like it'll be the last resort maneuver then." He says to Allucard. "If they want pain, let's give them pain. With me, Allucard!" He shouts while diving in a charge, his sledgehammer over his head.

That blow ought to hurt more than the heaviest rock.

With a swift he grants Allucard another turn (White Raven Tactics), then he charge with a Battle Leaders Charge and power attack of 6.

Aleucard PoV

As Alucard's general buys him a moment he thinks over the spells he has prepared for the day as he looks at the enemies before them. Thinking that there was no other way he quickly grabs some bat guano and sulfur and tosses it onto the top of his staff before pointing the staff at the center giant holding the boluder so that all of them would be caught in its blast as a tiny pea sized ball shoots out from the tip of his black wood staff.

If not for the smell of the hells themselves, and what seemed like diabolic bodies trapped inside the glowing globe that passed by Ron during his charge, the smell of brimstone. None would be able to tell that things were about to get very dangerous for the giants. And as the tiny glowing globe connected with its target and expanded into a large explosion of fire, enveloping all in its radius Alucard smiled at the smell of burning flesh.

Launching a fireball before Ron moves in centered on the middle giant with the boulder to try to catch all the giants in the blast and not Ron, Lilith, or myself.

The giants seem to buy Lilith's not-so-much-lie, but when they see she cast a spelll on them, their boss shouts in giant.

"Gruka ahkbar!", all the while pointing to her and Allucard.

That's when the fireball goes roght in the middle of the giants and explode, but the boss manage to jump and use a large rock in the ground to avoid all damage. The rest weren't so lucky.

Then an enlarged Ron charge one of the giants with his sledge hammer, doing great damage, but the giants are well known for their resiliance and vigor: it will take more blows to drop them, but probably not too much in this one.

The giants attack Ron with their trunks.
The first one attack him twice, but hit only the last attack.

23 damage.

The second giant attack Ron twice too, crushing his arm with his second attack.
29 damage for the first attack, plus a critical 49 damage which probably put him to his negative (maybe not due to steely resolve)

The last giant aim Allucard and throw a rock at him, aimed specially to fall over the mage and drop him under the boulder weight, but Allucard manage to resist and stay on his feet, maybe due Balphegor staying on top of the rock, who knows?

"Those giants sure know how to fight. Shame they didn't join us."

I'll use his move action to intimidate all the giants in 10ft from me. It's a property of his armor (fearsome) plus a skill trick (Never Outnumbered). I don't know exactly where they are. If only one giant is in the area, I won't use the skill trick.

After taking such powerful blow, the goliath retaliates with a even more powerful one, sending the giant back unconscious.

After the strike the goliath seems to grow in size, assuming a fearsome stance that cause the surviving giants to shake on their knees.

As the explosion goes off the emperor watches with his eyes burned with the flames of hell, as the largest giant who was clearly their leader jumped out of the way taking no damage from the large blast of flames. So I see my large friend has some skill behind him. I wounder how far that skill will carry him though. And with that Alucard calls out to the battlefields of the blood wars, promising blood to any who would enter into the material plane and do his bidding.

Summon monster 4 to summon 2 Voor Yugoloth's (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/mm4_gallery/98738.jpg) on each side of the leader so that they are flanking him.

From opposite sides of the giant opens up a rift in time and space as Tentecales like claws rip into this world as two hulking creatures step threw a burning battlefield, the cries of the dieing clear for all to hear, while a cloud of sulfur follows them into the world surrounding them.


Summons PoV

As the two creatures heard the call to battle and the promise of blood both stepped forward as they had been told and were more then happy when they sensed an enemy infront of them. Eager to rip their enemies apart, both tentecals and claws lash out in a fury of blows.

Lilith watches the battlefield as it explodes with fire and her captures general seems to be on his last leg. Seeing her time to strike at hand she gets ready to cast an encahentment to destroy her opponents mind and make them serve her when she sees two monsteroitys of the blood wars arrive flanking the leader of the giants. Their claws ripping away chuncks of flesh and rending it down to the bone as the meat that has been ripped of goes into their mouths. Not wanting to anger anyone who could summon such powerful beasts she instead activates a simple charm and begins to sing a song to blouster all her allies attacks and fill them with a new strength.

The creatures come from the outer planes and tentacle rape the giant boss, who only drops after the last hit.

The surviving giant see himself in a bad sitution, but still fight, tryiong toa t least get one of you... and thatone is Ron in his mind.

His tree attack Ron twice: the first time hitting due concealment and the second due pure despair. The hits land solid on the ground making a shattering sound.

Then Ron and the Voors gang on hom and finsh the poor thing.

As the Voors rip apart Alucards enemies he watches as blood stained claws dig into the flesh of the giants and fill their gapping maws. You have done a great service to myself and my lady. With the tent smashed there was little Lilith could do to put it back up.

"Maybe we'll have to sleep at the carriage, lucky us for not having them shoting at it or at our horses", Balhegor comments.

Taking a look at their bags, you find some filthy stuff, mostly mundane, but others that may be magical:

A whetstone, a drinking horn, a chunk of rotten cheese, a pair of bone dice, 120ft of rope, a small collection of medium and small sized humanoid teeths, a sack with sand and a very stinky and filthy pair of boots that fits Ron big foots.

They also got some real treasure: 2300 gp, a stinky cloth of gold vestment with a family sigil on it, an adamantine armband, a sack with three gems on it (an aquamarine, a black pearl and an alexandrite), a potion with with a tentacled panther drawned on the bottle stopper (which Lilith recognzes as a dispalcer beast which usually are used to describe displacement potions), an old and dirty sheet of paper (with the Identify spell on it) and a small sack with a white fine powder that seems to change color when you stop looking at it, but back to white when you look again. A detect magic reveals that the scroll, the potion, the fine white dust and the sack of sand are magical

@Allucard: the fogs seems to get thickier and thickier over the night and at some given time you hear a voice in your mind.

"Hi my student, how well are you doing? I saw you had to summon the voors... Hope nothing bad happened...".

@Ron: you sleep and dream with your lair and your tribe, when you were just a kid. You talked and walked throught he tribe till you managed to slip at Kaldrahal's lair and eavesrop on the great white dragon talking with your father.

"There are five of us, there was Urgal the Black, Raksha the Blue, Kraag the Green, Imingrad the Red and me, Kaldrahal the White. Each one of us have our own s...", that's when the dream sudden is over as Lilith's feet kicks you with a "You're snoring!". You mutter something to her, but is quick to fall back to sleep. A dreamless one this time.

@Lilith: as soon as you manage to begin to sleep you hear a loud voice booming like thunder. Opening your eyes you can see it'd the mighty snore of Ron, so you quickly kick him and he stop.

After that you go back to sleep, but again you are interrupted, but this time by a laughter. Waking up you can hear the laughter deep in your mind.

"Oh, sorry to wake up, honey. Just wanted to know if you liked the present I gave you...", you then petrify as your sleeping mind suddenly realize it's Dante's voice in your mind.

As the fog thickens and the voice comes into Aleucards mind he closes his eyes, clearly annoyed with the sudden disturbance. Yes I had to call upon the Voors. I am busy carrying out my orders from the high lady. he says annoyance clear in his voice.

As Lilith wakes up to here the voice of the one who had taken all her powers she curses as she wishes she still had her powers so she could track down exactly where he was. So I see the coward has come out of hiding, are you here to finish our battle? I promise it will be you dead this time. You may have thought you left me for dead, but it seems the mortal you left me to be killed by has some skill. Enough to defeat a clown like you at least. Lilith replies mentaly as she sends a message to her master and the imp letting them both know trouble was about.

@Lilith: "Finish the battle?", then there's the thunderous laughter in your kind, loud enough to put you on your knees, "You need to people to fight to be a battle and I only saw myself fighting", he says with his mocking tone.

"Was just seeing if you liked the giants I send to you", the voice pauses for a while, "They were a nice entertainment to your life as a prisoner, right? And don't worry, even though I'm here outside watching you from the fogs, I wont explode the whole thing down, you may proof yourself to be a source of endless fun", and the laughter comes again.

@Allucard: after a long while waiting for the Summoner's response, someone else reach your mind: "Trouble may be coming, get ready", says Lilith's voice in your mind.

You can't help but notice the fogs begin to get thicker and thicker.

Ron wakes up (before he slept he used his healing belt for [roll0] HPs).

The goliath is a man of few words, but he is loud. Not only he snores like an earthquake, now his stomach is doing a thunderous noise. The silence he makes by not speaking is more than compensated by the rest of his organism.

"Breakfast, anyone?" Quickly he rushes to some of the giants loot but there's only cheese and he needs more than that.

"So, I think I'll go looking for food, either fruits, herbs, of possible hunt an animal, if I'm lucky. Someone cares to join?"

He barely gives enough time to response, oblivious to whatever mental conversations their comrades are having.

As Ron wakes up he realize it's still night outside.
Lilith is awake and with a grim expression in her face.

A sleepy (and hungry) Ron realizes that it isn't even morning yet. Disappointed, he simply says:

As Allucard cover the carriage in fogs and wait to hear the enemies footsteps, but there was no noise at all.

It takes time for you to rest that night, it seems Dante was up to just play with you.

The dawn rise and you all move in bad mood and sleepy.
You travel through the day and begin to see the famed walls of Whitestone Hall, even though it will take another day to reach it.

As noon comes, you stop the carriage and begin eating some field rations.
That's when a group of 4 carriages appears at the horizon.

As Aluecard sees the carriages coming he looks to both Lilith and Belphegor, indicating for them both to take on their respective forms when in public as he rushes Ron into the carriage while taking a seat at the front of the wagon holding the reins of the horses. Be ready for anything, after last night I will not be caught off guard. Aleucard says as he slows the carriage down until the others catch up. Well good morning fellow travelers, nice day don't you think? Aleucard says putting on his best act. I heard you come from a little ways and thought it may be a good idea to stop and see if we were all going in the same direction. After all their are safety in numbers they say, and my weak bones can not fight anymore after the poison the last bandits used on us. He says coughing as if on cue. This here is my boy Blake, and his beautiful mother Lily. Would you happen to be heading towards Whitestone Hall by any chance? Aleucard asks trying to appear friendly and non threatening.

"Good day good, sir!", say a fat and tall man, his age past the fifties, but even the old age couldn't take his muscle build away, "I'm Desmond, and these are the Merchants of the Long Road, we were going to Whitestone Hall, but the city is closed. The guards aren't letting anyone in or out. A plague they say. So we're going back east, maybe we can find some good customers there", he says smiling a gold teeth to you.

As he looks at Lilith, "Pardon me, but your wife is indeed beatiful, want to trade her for a a sack of gold? HAR! Just kidding, unless you want to trade it", he says raising his elbrow to you aas he finish.

"And you What bring such nice family to these bandit-filled roads?"


@Lilith: the Merchants of the Long Road is a traveling band of followers of Farlangh who live in nomadic travelling, selling items they produce, buy and adquire in their travels. It's said to bring bad luck attacking then.

As Aluecard hears that these were in fact traveling merchants his demeanor calms slightly inside as he listens to their tale. A plague you say, that is very unfortunate. I was hoping to meet an old friend there along my travels down to Minnervan Forests. My family seems to be having problems down their and so asked for me to come back to help. he says to the merchant, not exactly lying, but enough for it to be known to anyone with a good sense that it was not a complete lie.

I fear she is worth more then all the gold in our world my friend, and more trouble then carrying such wealth around as well. I could not part with her so easily for such trivial things, and you would not be able to keep her long for she would grow bored, very high maintenance for this beauty. Aluecard says holding his hand out to his wife and lifting her palm up, kissing it gently to keep the fascad up.

"Ha ha! A man with sense of humor, love those", he says as you talk about how expensive Lilith is, "but I think you misunderstood, the Minnervan Forest is far far away, in a island, you must be looking for the Mercurian Forest".

A young blond lady approaches Desmond, "Dad, Timothy and Sergei are fighting again, they are also drinking your wines"

"They what? Sorry I'll have to attend to some business somewhere else", he then goes in a hurry to another carriage looking back and shouting, "This is Sarah, my daughter. Feel free to buy something nice to your wife, we have plenty of ".

And so he depart, leaving the young beauty there with you.

As the merchant corrects Aleucard it takes a great amount of restraint to hold back his anger at having been given such an old map to be so easily wrong, however when the offer to get a new one is provided the emperors mood seems to change to that of curiosity. I have learned many things in my life and the most important is nothing ever comes for free. If you will not allow me to pay for the map perhaps I could in turn have my wife sing and dance at the dinner for entertainment. he says looking to Lilith to see if she would agree.

Well if you are all willing to travel so far with me I could not object. I must first make sure my bodyguard will be up to it. He suffered some very graveous wounds protecting my family you see and I could not abandon his chances of being healed so easily. If these wizards have potions and scrolls though it may be exactly what we need. Aluecard says as he mentally calls out to Belphegor, This may slow our travels down slightly, but I think it will provide the perfect camouflage for us from anyone seeking us out for breaking Ron out.

Paying close attention to the young blonde that comes forth Aleucard pays close attention to her. Well Desmond, it seems we both hold a beautiful young woman close to us. Aleucard says as he hears the words of her parting father. Yes you could be of great help with me picking up a surpprise for my lovely wife. But I can not let her see what it is, do we have anywhere more private my son and I could look at the wares? He asks kindly, putting on his best charm.

Even though Lilith knew it was what Dante wanted, that night was not an easy sleep as she tossed and turned at every sound. She was more then thankful when morning came and everyone was well rested.

By noon she was feeling tired from her lack of sleep, but was to afraid to bring it up to Aleucard do to he himself getting the least amount of sleep due to taking the first watch. However luck seemed to finally smile on them as noon came and he called for them to stop for the four carriages coming there way. And no better was their luck then for it to be the merchants of the traveler.

Oh dear if you keep placing me on such a high pedestal one day you will not be able to reach me. Lilith said falling into the roll of the perfect wife as she kindly curtsied to the merchant. It is a pleasure to meet you Desmond, however I could never leave my darling husband. A kind gesture though that has flattered me greatly rest assured. she says wrapping her arm around the imp that was in disguise of their child. Well Blake where are your manners say hello.

Ohh I would love to dance again, it has been so long since I got to practice. Perhaps I could even teach some of those traveling with you a few of the things I know so that we are not to much of a burden upon all of you kind merchants. Lilith, known at the moment as Lily replied, agreeing with her husband. When she sees the little blonde woman though and notes how much attention her master seems to be paying to her she can not help but smirk, wondering if she should use her magic to buy herself a reprieve.

"That one is Oskar, our weapon and armorsmith. He's an exile from the Dwarven Lands, far away to northeast, passing the Great Rift", she says pointing to a bulky black bearded dwarf in full plate armor and then to the direction she said.

"These are the Rafael and Farael, the twins. They write poems, maps and scroll: both arcane and divine", she says pointing to two half-elves in stylish robes: one red with blue details and the other blue with red details, "They used to be students in the Seal Mount Institute or something, but the charges were too high and they left", she keeps on before adding, "Ah, then also are good weavers and can fashion any cloth you may want".

Looking to a fat red haired midage woman, full of freckles on her face she says, "and that's Stella, but we all call her Mama, she's the cook and also brew potions".

You then reach the center of their carriages, where a large group of light armored men watch you, "Those are the Swords of Farlang, our guards. Tim Three-Fingers is their leader", she says to a mutilated guy with a silver rapier and obviously drunk. He also have a black eye and the to another one, drunk and black-eyed too, "and that is Sergei, his cousin and second-in-charge".

Then she finnaly reaches one of the carriages, "Now you know everybody, except for Falken, our guide. He's off scouting or something. Everything else, from food to drinks, equipments and some magical items, you can talk to dad, but I wouldn't right now, he must be in bad mood due Tim and Sergei's fight. Anyway, want to see my jewels?", she finnaly finish bringing a small wooden box with a dozen jewels, "We can look then inside if you don't want Lily to knoe which one you want to give her".

As Aleucard is shown around the camp he is kind and polite to each of the merchants, making small comments here and their about some of their wares before moving onto the next. The only dangerous ones he saw were the wizard brothers, but he was sure as long as he did not cause to much trouble they would leave him be.

As they finally round the end of the tour Aleucard nods kindly as Sarah explains she could show him her work inside if he did not want Lily knowing. That would be most appreicated Sarah. And might I say you have been so kind taking time out of what I am sure a busy day to show me around and do this for me. May the lady bring you beauty tonight. Aleucard says with a bit of mystery in his voice, not explaining which of the many people the simple title could have been referring to.

As the door finally shuts behind Aleucard he takes a seat where she shows him and begins looking at the wares she has to offer. You know Sarah I am a bit of a wizard myself you see, and have been looking for an apprentice to teach my craft to. Aleucard says politely as he looks over the jewels. And with the fine craftsmanship you show I am sure you would make a very promising student. Maybe even become able to craft magic items one day if you studied hard enough. He says from his seat, no longer looking at the jewelry, but at her.

Ron, who was silent listening to everything, could only wonder, with a smirk in his face, replaying the dialogue between Sarah and Allucard.

"Oh, do you wanna look the jewels in that room with me alone?"

"Oh, sure, lead the way."

"Wanna see my pinky too?"

And what about that Lilith. Of course, if he had to ally himself with a demon, let it be a hot one, why not?

I'm Erik and couldn't help but notice you're very strong. I bet you would be able to defeat old Oskar in a strenght competition. He always win and said the day he lost to someone he would give his armbands away. Why don't you your luck?", says one of the caravan's soldiers, a young spearman, sixteen or seventeen tops, with hair the color of sand.

@Lilith: being left alone for a while, you almost can walk away free from there wasnt the imp in child's skin near to you, "So mommy, what you want to do? Papa seems to be enjoying having a new friend. I think she's cute, maybe even more cute than you. What you think?"

"Hey, dude? Are you still with us?", when you blink and show some reaction, he let a laughter out and speak to you, "For a moment I thought we lost you, welcome back to the Material Plane. I'm Erik and couldn't help but notice you're very strong. I bet you would be able to defeat old Oskar in a strenght competition. He always win and said the day he lost to someone he would give his armbands away. Why don't you your luck?"

"Indeed. Why not? Lead the way."

Time do something more usual than have pointless thoughs.

@Ron: The young boy walk with you back to the carriage of the blackbearded dwarf. He's strong muscled and have burn scars in his arms and face.

You can notice the guards are all near, doing some sword pratice, keeping their blades keen and talking, but you can also notice they are focusing their attention at you and Erik.

"Oskar! This one thinks he can defat you in strenght. And he...", the spearman begin talking but is interrupted by the dwarf.

"Bah! You're sure are big and strong, but are you big and stronght enough to win over a dwarven born of Deepmyr? Blessed by years in the forge and sculpted by Moradin himself? I saw people twice your size fail. Win me and I'll give you this bracers I won with these muscles, lose and I'll get... What do you have to offer me stranger?"

All the guards keep doing their stuff, but you now are certain they all are watching the scene, like it was a big show that would soon start.

I am sure I will little Sarah, daughter of Desmond. Aleucard says as he exits the caravan and walks outside. To his amusement he sees Ron about to get into a battle of strength it seemed with the dwarven smith. Well this should be interesting to say the least. With luck it will boost his confidence. Aleucard says as he slowly walks over, using his staff to support his weight as he goes. Now please don't hurt my bodyguard to much now Mr.Oskar or it will be I having you owe me. Without that man I will have no protection on these dangerous roads when we part ways. Due carry on though, a good show keeps the spirits up they say and helps to pass the time. Aleucard then makes his way to a spot in the background where he is out of the way, and hard to notice, while still keeping a clear view on the scene that is to unfold.

Reaching out with his mind he calls to Lilith and his familiar. You two can come fraternize you know. And do please cause a bit of mistrief. Nothing that can get us in any trouble with them though. We want to simply convert them to the proper way of thinking. Aleucard says to the two, letting them know they were free to do as they pleased in the camp.

As the minds of those around her whisper there secrets she can not help but be amused by the Goliath guard that traveled with them. Oh don't worry, not everyone can read minds. She sends to the stone faced giant as she turns with an amused look on her face. Nor is this the only form I can take, I wounder what you find to be beautiful. the demoness says, more of a statement then a question, finding it amusing that though he spoke little his imagination ran around a lot.

Oh keep it up and we may just have to remind you of your place now wont we? Lilith says with an amused grin. There was one good thing about this disguise at least, she could beat the little imp and not get in trouble for it, and if he raised his own hand against her she could easily convince the others to help her.

Oh are we done playing house now? And here I thought you were just going to let me slip away, if not for your mut that is. Lilith responds as she brings the carriage over to the others, reading the minds of all those in the caravan to get an idea of what there deeper darker secrets were. Their carnal desires.

You have limited uses of Detect Thoughts (20/day in your case) keep that in mind. Also, it allow superficial thoughts reading only, not deep ones. Unless you bring something sexual to them, it's unlikely you'll find any deeep desires.

Boy my mother taught me to never play with small things. You aren't man enough to handle me. Lilith laughs as the images come to her mind, mocking the goliath for his own weak will. Now don't go losing, it would be a shame to have to see you running around without your fancy boots.

@Ron: The dwarf look at your boots and say, "That may be just fine, challenge accepted", he then draws a circle in the ground, next to 25ft radius.

As Aleucard sees the betting going on he raises an eyebrow before gesturing over to the guard named Erik. So who is it the numbers seem to be favoring this day? He asks, trying to figure out who most people were betting on.

As Aleucard hears what the bets are he pulls out his large sack of coins. I tell you what, I will place 400gp on Ron winning this game. You can cover that correct? Aleucard asks before handing over the amount of money he stated.

@Allucard: Erik look at you and his smile goes wide, "Sure we can, everyone here except me are betting on the dwarf. Their bets are small, but they all together sum up to 500 gp. I'm betting 100 gp myself, so if Ron win, both of us double, if not they'll share our gold".

Aleucard smiles as he looks at the one named Erik, a member of the swords of Farlang. I have seen that man take on giants before and walk away from the battle. And they say he used to be a mighty champion of some empire or another. I have full faith it will be us who will be splitting the profits in this battle. Aleucard says simply as he sits down and patiently awaits for the match to begin, had he been in his old body this is something even he would be doing so he could not hold it against Ron for wanting to Prove himself.

As Lilith watches the proceedings she simply sits and waits to see who will win.

The two competitions stand in the middle of the circle and begin trying to bring the other beyond the circle boundary.

After the end of the competition Erik goes to the group of guards and get the money form the betting and then walks to Allucard.

"Here are your share: 720 gp", he then quickly adds, "10 percent profit for the winner, you see" and then goes to Ron, "I knew you would do it! Here's some money for the bets, 100 gp and..." that's when Oskar push Erik away.

"You sure are strong young man, I have to say that. Maybe it's me being old but a loss is a loss and a promise is a promise, have this gauntlets: the Mountainborn Gauntlets".

As Aleucard watches the match unfold he can already see the dwarf has lost when Ron makes the first step foward. The man was like the mountains themselves, unforgiving and once he started moving there was very little Aleucard knew that could stop him. Clapping from the shadows Aleucard does a slight bow to Erik as he comes over with his money. It always pays to be on the winning side does it not? He says kindly handing over the extra 20gp. Look at it as a business investment Erik. I see many great things in you. Aleucard says with a kind smile before getting up and walking over to Ron and Oskar.

Absolutely marvelous both of you have sure put on a great show for us all today. Aleucard says to both contestants. Well now boys lets here it for these two, did they not earn your respect in such a battle of strength? Aleucard says trying to work the crowd up to praise both contestants.

The crowd just "Eeeh", back to Allucard and resume their trainning.

"This gauntlets will make you stronger the strionger you are", Oskar says pointing out a set of runes in the bracers, "it's what's supossed to be written there, in anciant dwarven supposedly. Not sure someone can read that language anymore".

That's when an eagle cross the sky and cry out, making people look to it and begin to get back to the carriages.

"Let's go! Follow the guide!", shout Desmond getting in the richest carriage as the Swords of Farlangh mount light horses and ride besides the caravan.

"You too go quick or all you've get is dust in your eyes, HAR HAR!", says Desmond, "And I wouldn't risk getting dust in Lily's fine clothes", he says to the group as they begin to depart.

AS you go with the caravan you soon abandon the road and begins your march towards Goat's Step, which apparently will take up to 10 days.

As the crowd seems to ignore him he glares at each and every one of them. Would you not be cheering if you had won the bets you made? Do not dishonor these proud warriors because of your jealousy. Perhaps learn that when you gamble the house always wins. Aleucard says placing the money in his sack. turning back to Oskar Aleucard adds in, When you have a moment latter I would love to have you look at some of the things we have gotten off of those that attacked us. As a merchant you may have an easier time finding a buyer Oskar, and in truth I would not know what to do with half the stuff to begin with. As a warning though the arrows were poisoned, why I seem so ill at this time, so please be careful when handling them.

As Desmond calls out it was time to depart Alecuard calls out to the others. Lets go lily, Blake we are moving now. Ron will you be going with your new friend to talk a bit or coming with us? Aleucard asks giving him the option to get to know the dwarf better. Looking around the group Alex then calls out to Desmond, And what of your fine gem? We meed her to shine like a star tonight if we are to see. Aleucard replies, complimenting the merchant on what a beautiful daughter he had.

Oh Desmond trust me these are hardly fine clothes. Perhaps I shall dress extra special for tonight, after all I hear someone else will be in their finest is that not right dear? Lilith says kindly to Desmond, in almost a flirtaous way before looking to her master with an amused look on her face. I'm sorry was I not suppose to say that? I could always point out she wanted to show you her jewels. she says snickering quietly.

Ron is feeling triumphant, and the new item might suit him wonderfully. But he got enough of the caravan. And he feels he will need to invest in some heavier protection soon, or else he won't survive another week.

As Ron lets Aleucard know he is fine and will be coming back with him to their own carriage he nods in understanding to his general. A silent communication of sorts that they had made when in battle that had served them well. This was simply a different battlefield in Aleucard's eyes. The diplomatic one of politics, but none the less one he was sure he had already gotten a footing inside.

@The Party: night falls as the caravan travelled off the road, on the grassy plains toward Mercuria. The night is warm and there are a few fireflies floating near a small lake. The caravan stop in a circular formation and the Swords of Farlhang bgin putting up tents and campfires.

From the sky the eagle descends and turns into a small woman, kinda of beautiful, but not like Lilith or Sara. She has long black hair and a keen nose, similar to an eagle. She moves and talk to Tim Three-Fingers and then goes to Desmond.

@Ron: after night falls, Lilith (who's using the name of Lily), Allucard and Balphegor goes to Desmond's carriage to have a party of some sort. Apparently nobody invited you, but maybe is for the best, you're too brute for such subtle games anyway.

Walking through the camp you see the guards doing their work as the one known as Three Fingers wave you around: "Hey stone boy! Come and join us! Oskar will let us drink for his famous Dire Beer!".

Apparently, even though the guards lost some money from the betting they don't keep any hard feelings.

@Lilith and Allucard: after getting well dressed for the dinner with Desmond, you two enter the luxuous carriage of Desmond and his daughter Sara, who managed to almost blind Lilith's beauty. Almost.

"Come on in! Dinner is almost done: honeyed boar with wild berries jam, you gonna love it!".

Sara shyly say hi to you three, "You're looking like a queen, Lily", she says smiling and then looking at Balphegor, "And you are a cute prince". Whatever comment she had about Allucard, she kept to herself, probably not to make Lily angry or anything.

That's when the small woman appeared at the door, "Hello Desmond, is there space for one more?", she says almost rudely while looking at him with a piercing gaze and then at each one of you for some moment, her eyes almost looking tight through your soul, "Who are you? Guest? I'm Alda, this caravan's guide"

Lilith had not been pleased about having to make an appearance and no less perform for these mortals, a fact she had made all to clear during her mental argument with Aleucard. I am no celestial monkey who jumps when you so much as blink and does cute things. she kept on saying along with other things which all went around the same things. However when the threats came her way she knew when to bite her tongue.

As the time came for them to meet Desmond for dinner she quickly sent Ron a message. I will be missing you dear, don't worry I have not told him all your dirty little ideas you have planned for me., the sound of her laughter being the last thing to be heard in his mind as she entered the finest carriage of them all. Dressed in a emerald green dress that showed of her slim stomach, as well as her back she did a small kind smile to Desmond as she acted like she was smelling their meal. Oh my Desmond, you sure know how to treat a lady now don't you. If only Aleucard here knew how to bring such fine food with him when we traveled me and Blake would not need to stay hidden in the carriage when a battle broke out. She says before looking to Sarah and for a split second jealousy is clear in her eyes as her mind thinks of calling her a harlot. That is because I am a goddess my dear, even a queen is below me. Lilith says, trying to keep the venom out of her voice.

Great another boar. And look this one still sequels. Lilith thinks clearly amused at the small woman who had just entered asking who they were. I believe the proper way to adresses someone of a higher class then you is to state your name and bow. I will forgive you this time though. I am Lily, and the this is my son Blake. she says placing a loving hand around the little imp in the disguise of a boy.

As Aleucard comes walking into the caravan his scarlet cloak seems to dance around his body that is covered in a dyed black leather outfit. Aleucard says shaking the mans hand before passing on to Sarash and taking her hand and kissing it gently. And Lady Sarah I see you were not lying when you said your father buys you the very best. Aleucard says rising up from where kissing her hand and placing both his hands back upon his old wooden staff that has been blackened with age. But before he could say more a rather rude woman came barging in, it did not help matters that Lilith was being her typical self either. The name is Vladimir Draco madam and you are? He asks politely.

Blake can only smile as Sarah called him a cute little prince. Why thank you mama, that is so very kind of you. Dad do you mind if I sit near the pretty lady? he asks clearly enjoying the attention.

@Lilith and Allucard: the short woman look Lilith with defiance.

"If that's so, you should be on your knees now, as I'm a priest of the Dweller on the Horizont and you're in his domain now. I'm Alda, guide of this caravan and servant of Farlangh. And what's your name again, stupid noble woman?"

"Whoa! No need for calling her stupid, Alda!", Desmond interrupt her, "I'm sorry, Alda is a little wild and don't know much of manners, but I can say he don't mean harm".

"Hey mama, what's mean stupid? Are you stupid?", says Balphegor with a confused look in his childish eyes, barely keeping the laughter for coming.

"I like this woman, she seems to know you far too well", he then send through telepathy.

"I lost my hunger, will hunt something down. And you better take care, Desmond", the woman says before turning her back down and getting ready to leave.

@Ron: "That's it! What's your name? I'm Timothy, but you can call me Tim Three Finger", he says showing his maimed hand, a hand with lots of scars, let alone the pinky and index fingers gone, "Was hunting treasures when some trap got those off", he explains.

You walk toward the guards, great part are humans, but you can see a half-elf and half-orc, a gnome and two halflings.

"These are the boys the Swords of Farlangh, humble servants of the Horizon Walker that protects travellers. That woman you saw earlier is our spiritual guide, Alda. Even though she act like an animal sometimes, she's nice and even bath together with all of us. But don't try anything fine or you might be called Three Fingers too, hahaha!", he says as Oskar get close with a small barrel.

"And here it is: Dire Beer! My special brewing, hope you enjoy, haha!", says him, more drunk than sober, "Here stone man, take some too! And tell us your name, we cant call you stone boy all the time".

As things seem to be getting dangerously violent Aleucard bangs his staff upon the ground to catch everyone's attention. Come now, we should all be enjoying ourselves in this joyous of days. After all it is not often you get to meet new friends. Aleucard says looking to Desmond, Why don't we all just sit down and have a few drinks? I am sure this is all just a large misunderstanding Madam Alda. Aleucard says, trying his hardest to seem charming to the woman who seemed to be seeing threw the disguises of lilith and Balphegor.

Alda look back to Allucard and say, "I'm better off hunting rats for dinner" and unless Lilith say something she turn in an owl and fly away.

Soon enough a big dire wolf appear smelling the boar's roasted meat and sit down at the the entrance of the carriage.

"Oh, Falken, if not's our favorite alpha around, your share is after everyone's eat, ok?", says Desmond to it, careful enough not to leave his hands near his mouth.

"And you're right Draco, it's time to celebrate. let me open one elven wine bottle to put everyone in good mood again. Forget Alda, she's more animal than person sometimes", then looking and blinking to the wolf, "Don't tell her that, ok?"

"I heard she even bath with the guys", he says poiting through the window to Ron and Tim and the others.

"Anyway, tell me more about yourselves. it's been a long time since we had guests", he says all smiling as Sara bring the boar to the table and then pick a jar with wild berry jam.

"Don't forget the wine", he says gently to her.

"Ah, yes dad", she says as she goes to a big chest (for time enough for you to see it has more space on it than it appears) and take a bottle away, pouring to Allucard, Desmond, herself and last for Lilith.

Well if you feel a rat will be more filling that I guess is your choice. If you happen to go snooping around though please be careful of the arrows dear. We took them off some bandits that attacked us and they are poisoned. I was going to have Oskar look at all the gear we got but dinner called and the morning is always there. Aleucard says bowing as Alda turns into an owl and vanishes. You two need to be careful around that one, I think she may suspect something. If she becomes to much trouble you know what to do. Aleucard informs Lilith and Balphegor.

It is understandable for a guide to be nervous of newcomers Desmond don't worry. I just hope she finds something better than a rat to try and eat. I hear in times of plague rats get very large and dangerous. he says only the two with him knowing the true meaning of his words as he takes a seat once more. Oh does she now, well thats a new one, never heard of a women ever bathing with a male they were not married to I am sure it keeps morale up though. he says with a wiry smile to Desmond.

Well Desmond I happen to be a mage that just got done with my studies not to long ago from up north. Being a family man I could not leave my family behind though and well as you see. Since my training is over though and I got a call from relatives I thought I would go see what help they needed before going to explore the world. There is not much more to it, unless you want to go into the way I look. That happens to be the mixture of a family curse and very powerful poison. Its why I have Ron around. Even more so then those who normally practice the arcane I am extremely weak physically. Aleucard says as he takes a small sip of the elven wine, letting Blake try all the food first to make sure it has not been tampered with before taking his own serving.

Why thank you Sarah. he says as she pours him the wine. In fact when I saw your daughters art I asked her if she wished to learn under me to be a wizard so that she could enchant her items. She shows a lot of promise Desmond. Aleucard says before looking to him, Though I am sure you already knew that with all the suitors you must see asking for her hand.

Well Alda I much rather be unintelligent then someone who can not even look good when she tries. Lilith puffs glaring daggers at the women as the dam imp spoke up. Stupid is a word those who are less intelligent then you try to call those who are higher up then them because they are simply jealous. Keep it up and as I am killing this one I will be stuffing you inside her rotting corpse.

Oh goddy so she sleeps with, I mean bathes with the men as well, and calls herself a woman. Lilith says making it clear her opinion of Alda as she looks at the mut sitting outside the door. Thank you dear for the wine. Lilith adds as Sarah walks by filling her glass.

But let's just keep Ron for now, I like that name, it sounds like the noise my stomach make when I'm hungry and ready to eat an entire set of ribs from a mammoth. He takes the beer in his hand and promptly drink chugs of it. He shows his satisfaction with a click of the tongue.

"Bitter and tasty, the way I like it. So... this Aida girl could joy us. I trust it's dead boring inside that carriage. She's a priest of Farlangh, I could get some blessing."

He just hopes he doesn't get too drunk enough to start referring to Lilith by her real name. So he'll avoid talking about them for now.

@Allucard and Lilith: "From up north? Like the orc's red wastes? Or maybe the evil empire who fell?", he ask amused as you tell him you're from up north.

"Your looks did caught my eyes, what about this family curse? Don't see anything diferent in blake here, unless Lilith is doing somethings out of the wedding, har har!", he then says, "I would love to hear your story, if you don't mind of course".

"A mage! And I thinking you're just a noble like me, care to show some tricks? I know some mages don't like to show their powers, but I'm sure both me and Sara would love to see some magics", he says as you tell about being a wizard and then says, "Someone might think you're trying to steal my finest gem, har har! She's still too young and I have plans to putting her to study at Seal Mountain Institute, she's even taking classes with the twins. She shows up some arcane ability, must be from her mother's side. Show them some trick, darling".

Embarased for the sudden attention being drawn to herself Sara clap her hands making a musical sound as a fiddle appears in her hands and she begins to play an animated song. A great performance indeed, but no better than ones you heard in your court.

@Ron: "She is most like a druid, you know", Tim point out with his middle finger to an owl getting a night fly, away from the carriage, "But seems she was a priest of Farlangh before".

You then drink down the dire beer and feel it like a strong punch in your liver. Strong as you are, you might consider drinking it slowly or maybe get too drunk too fast.

Oskar look at you prideful as you take it all down in one gulp, "That's why I love mountain people, remembers me of home", he says drinking down a mug of the beer, "They can drink way more than humans like you", he says pointing to Tim and Sergei's black eyes, probably from the drunken fighting you heard from Sara.

"So what you do? You're the little lord's bodyguard, right? Or just a bodyguard from anyone who can pay you? The Farlangh Swords would use some muscle other than Feng's", Tim point out with his thumb to a powerful built half-orc, "Maybe you are interested in joinning after doing this bodyguard's work".

The empire, though not all of us saw it as evil. I myself saw its fall when the emperor himself rid out to meet those attacking us farmers. He led his troops against those who attacked his people even though staying behind the walls would have kept him alive much longer. Then again I hear that one of his advisers betrayed him and opened the gates for the orcs. Thankfully my parents left the empire when they saw him marching with his army to our village knowing he only left his estate when his empire was in trouble. Aleucard says trying to make him seem like the simple farmer while learning what others thought of his former kingdom.

This curse was something passed on threw the blood of many who livid in the empire, they say the emperors power was so great it infused the land tainting all who livid there. And as you can see I am surely proof of that. Thankfully Blake was spared being born in that place so it has not passed to him. Aleucard says with a kind hearted smile as he looks to his boy.

The powers I learned happen to be more combat oriented most days due to being on the road, however I may be able to do something lets see. As Aleucard thinks over his spells he decides on one of his simpler ones, and from across the room the door shuts itself. While that distraction is going on another two spells go off in quick succession enveloping Sarah in a golden light while she played her fiddle, while unknown to all but her a gentle hand seemed to wrap around her waist unseen by all.

Using open close to shut the carriage door. Light to enhance Sarahs performance, and Mage hand so Sarah knows he was impressed with her talent.

The Seal Mountain Institute though has those who may try to corrupt her there. I would not try to steal your finest gem away, however private teachers are normally better then those who have personal gain involved. If you wish when I am complete with my family buisness I could try getting a message to you to see where you would like to meet up so that we could talk more about her training. She shows a lot of talent Desmond, in the wrong hands that could be very dangerous. Aleucard says, keeping his voice very calm and level to not appear like he was telling the man what to do, but instead letting him know the other options. Even the twins I am sure would make better teachers then those at the institute. However if you ever want her to be able to take care of herself when you are gone I can promise there would be no finer teacher then myself. When it comes to battle there are few who can match myself and Ron. Aleucard says taking another sip of the fine elven wine.

As Lilith hears the song being played she slowly grows annoyed at the girl who kept showing off. I believe dear we said I would be performing tonight did we not? She says with a smile as she stands up and begins to sing.

Lilith will use Improvisation to grant herself a +5 bonus on perform sing, The spell Songbird to gain an additional +1 bonus. Using Silent image to enhance her performance, and mirror image to make her appear as a few more of herself singing as a choir.

@Lilith and Allucard: clearly beaten by Lilith's singing, even with the light resource of Allucard, Sara can't stop but shake.

"She's pretty damn good! Dammit!".

Desmond get up an applaude Lily's choir entusiatically, tottaly ignoring her daughter who stay quiet for the rest of the night no matter how much compliment Allucard try off. She answers of course, but that performance sure demoralized her confidence.

After three hours of drinking and eating and talking and giggling, Sara say goodnight and leave for her bed, a silk curtain away from the table.

"What's wrong, darling?", ask Desmond.

"Got a little headache, will get some sleep and see if it pass", she answers before leaving, saying everybody good night.

"Well, want to walk outside then? Don't want to wake my baby", Desmond says grabbing another bottle of wine, this time a famed wine from the Serpentis Kingdoms: Snake's Blood.

"Don't worry, I won't poison you", he says as he show the bottle, "It's one of the best wines from south there".

@Lillith:
this wine was known as the one used to poison the previous kings of the region, once one of the greatest kingdoms in the world, who lived in a olygarchy. With the kings dead, the kingdom split in several smaller kingdoms, some the ones you know nowadays.

As the night goes on and drinks are passed around Aleucard notes Sarahs sudden withdrawal onto herself, though not wanting to Alert Desmond says nothing, knowing if he truly wanted he could be there later without anyone being the wiser.

I must thank you for the offer, however to have a clear mind I should stop drinking or else I may mistake an illusion in my mind for a real enemy and hurt someone with my magic. A blessing and a curse you see having magic. You must be careful so that you do not harm those around you. Aleucard says kindly refusing more wine. As for poisoning me I know you wouldn't Desmond, you are a good man. So what is it you want to talk about? he asks as they get outside.

@Allucard and Lilith: "I want to talk bussiness!", he says giving Falken the leftovers of the boar, "we have plenty of stuff I guess might interest you and your party. From arcane scrolls and potions to weapons and clothes", he says, his golden teeth shinning over crescent moon glow.

Still holding the wine, he look at you and says, "A shame, you really should try it. Here, take it. A present for you. Ah! Remember me tomorrow and I'll give an updated map. Travelling with that of yours would be a blasphemy in the eyes of Farlangh, HAR HAR!" his laughter booming through the camp, "Only a fool would use such a thing, HAR HAR!".

"Well, looks like Ron is making friends", he says pointing to Ron and the guys drinking, everyone but Oskar and Ron apparently drunk, the two halfling and the half-elf passed away in the ground, "I can see it will be good to have you all aboard for these days".

As Desmond says he wishes to talk business Aleucard nods his head. I am sure we could both benefit from each other no doubt Desmond. I even was hoping I could have Oskar in the morning look at the items I have at the moment to sell a few things. though I doubt you will be able to buy the poisoned arrows, after all that is not something anyone that would do business with your group would come looking for I am sure so I will dispose of them elsewhere. Looking at his old outdated map Aleucard shrugs. Landmasses do not change, though the empires and names of the land may. A road will still be a road. Though it would be good to know the name of the place I am going properly. he admits taking the wine graciously to store away for another occasion. I have no doubt your men will be pleased with Ron. I hear he used to be a general, a champion of men before he became a bodyguard. From what the stories say that I heard at the tavern that sent me to him is that he could inspire commoners to fight giants as long as he and his hammer were on the field. And after seeing him face off against three giants already I have no doubt about the fact. Aleucard adds, making Ron seem like he did all the work when it came to the giants to draw attention away from himself.

@Lilith and Allucard: "Poison arrows? I can buy them", Desmond says looking serious even being a little drunk, "I can find a better use to it than you can, I guess", he says.

"I prefer having those on my side than at the side of bandits, dont worry", he says and then pause for a moment to think, "I'm sure Alda can be able to tell me which kind of poison they are, she use poison as a weapon after all".

"Anyway, it's getting late. Tomorrow we do business. Just talk to the merchants and they will be happy to lighten their stocks. Also feel free to ask for items, some of us can make then and we got ten days at least. When you're done talking to them, come and see my personal stash", saying that he wanders back to his carriage.

@Allucard: It's around 2 AM right now and you'll probably use some sleep, as the drowziness begins to take its toll on you.

@Allucard: you began feeling drowzy and went to your carriage to sleep, the wine in your hand carefully put in your bag. Even though you slept like a stone and forgot to say any instruction to Balphegor, he stayed up for some time watching your sleep.

"You can't count on a bunch of drunken guards to keep master safe, look, they're even dancing!".

@Lilith: as the night ends, Allucard goes to sleep but you dont feel like sleeping right away, so you wander around the camp for a while till boredom takes over you and you retreat to the carriage, finding your master sleeping like a baby and Balphegor sitting next to him watching you move.

"I think that Alda may be a problem, Lilith. Did you see the way she looked at us? It was like she was looking past us".

You speak something to him and get your deserved sleep.

Somewhere between your dreams you dream about something calling you, a living pulsing sensation. In the dream you race toward Desmond's carriage, trying to get it. But whatever it was, you can't remember, but still feel like there is something there calling you.

@Ron: after partying with the guys you found out they're a nice band. In the following hours you were introduced to the guys: Claude, Johan, Erik (which you already knew), Josshua, Norman, Sergei, Leonard, Aramis, Lyle, Milo, Feng, Gimble and Tim. You can tell all of them apart and even some pieces of their backgrounds.

At some point Mama Stella got to the aprty as well, bring some delicious bread she made in the morning. She drunk, you drunk, everyone drunk and then she danced with everyone.

Then blackout. You wake up outside your bed, confortably laying in the grass with a child's foot shaking you and hte blinding bright of a new sun shinning on you.

"Wake up! Ron, wake up!"

@The party: dawn comes and so comes the noises. Not much since almost everyone spend the night partying.

You begin then your sleepy walk through the grassy plains, every guard riding almost sleeping.

"Good morning Allucard! Lily and Ron!", comes a cheerful Desmond around, "Want to make business today?".

As the morning sun rises Aleucard wakes up early and goes outside to a nice quite place to read from his tome of magic. Making sure to be ready for all situations today, without revealing his true nature outright as he picks each spell with care. It is not until well over an hour has gone by that he makes his way back towards the camp where he is greeted by everyone packing up their tents and preparing for the days journey ahead.

It is only a few hours later that Desmond comes over to the group and with a kind smile on his face Aleucard happily greats the head merchant. I thought you had forgotten us after last night Desmond. I do hope you slept well on business. Aleucard states as Sarah's father brings up talk of business. Agreed, shall we step into my carriage, or shall we go back to yours? Either way I have all the items on me here at the moment. Though if you would not mind I would like them all to be looked over by someone who could tell me their properties first if you would not mind. I do not like selling treasures that I am not aware I even have. I will pay the fee for the mages to cast such a spell as well, after all I am a business man myself and understand that the best partnerships work with both parties leaving happy. He says grabbing his old wooden staff and stepping out of the carriage. I will be back soon everyone, Ron do you care to join me? If not is there anything in particular you would like? After all you still need to be paid for your work. Aleucard asks before going with Desmond to talk business.

Inside his vests you can see something is moving around slowly.

As Aleucard sees the half elves this morning he begins to wounder about them, and their sanity. But that soon leaves his mind as they state it would be 150gp per item. Children I do not know who you think you are trying to swindle, however I am not no fool who happens to be uneducated in the ways of the arcane and know what the powers are worth. I could do the same thing you are asking for less then you are asking per item with a single scroll. Just because you need more money to get back to your school that is over priced do not try and swindle someone who was taught real magic, not parlor tricks. He says looking at the two twins having no doubt he could take them both on.

Turning towards Desmond he says I hope these two have not been charging you such obscene amounts of money yourself. For no more then 130gp I could acquire a scroll and do all of the items myself. Aleucard says to the man, I hope that this is an honest business Desmond, as I truely did like you. However I can always find another buyer for all this. Aleucard says placing the items in a manner so that each would gleam on their own until all items were lined up for all to see.

"You take us for thieves now? For charlattans? If taht's so you can sell those items when your each a city in ten days or so. We wont lower the prices as you can see the wand of identify have a cost to its use", Farael adds to you, irritation in his voice.

"Whoa! Calm down, you three. Dont want fights here. Draco, the twins have controll of their prices as I manage my prices. I don't own them nor anything, so I wont be able to help you bargain, I'm sorry", Desmond replies to you trying to stop any more arguing.

You can't notice any emotion in his voice. Ron was always very straightforward, even more so when doing business.

When the goliat give them the gauntlets and the 150gp they quickly adjust their faces to more amicable.

"Here you go: these are the Mountainborn Gauntlets. A one in a kind item. They don't confer strenght to those who wears it, as some may think, but make aything that raise the owner strenght more effective. However the item only work as long as you stand on ground, so flying, swimming or riding will make the item useless for as long as you do it. It also protect partly from having your strenght diminished by any effect. It works only for races of the stone, like dwarves, gnomes and goliaths. Such item has no market value, if you want to sell it you'll have to negotiate, even though I'm sure you'll hardly want to do it", they finish off.

Mountainborn Gauntlets:
Spells or effects that raise your strenght does so with a +2 bonus.
Example: bull's strenght will grant 6 enhancement bonus instead of 4.

It also reduce by 2 strenght damage, drain or penalty to strenght.

As Ron ends up paying the outrageous price they were asking for Aleucard only seems to grow more frustrated. Well Desmond seems we will not be able to do buisness as I am not aware of what I have in my possession and will not be robbed by two children who c\wouldn't know fashion if it smacked them in the face, And as for biting. I hope your teachers taught you what wizards chess is, because if you keep it up I will be challenging you to a game to show the young miss Sarah what a real wizard can do. Aleucard says turning away from the twins with his merchandise.

The gall of those half witted dropouts. Trying to swindle me. ME! Aleucard says in a fit as he makes his way back to the carriage. Belphegor, Lilith where are you two. Seems we got two little want to be's trying to take me for a fool. Belphegor cause trouble. But make it seem like a simple acident, as if you were simply playing a child's game or something. Lilith, I want to know everything about those two by the end of the night. That druid woman can wait.

Yes I saw how she was looking at us, however we have to be careful. If she randomly vanishes then the blame will instantly fall on us. Lilith explains. I do agree something needs to be done about her though. Think more in the morning. the demoness says looking where to lie before deciding to play it safe and curling up with Aleucard.

As the morning sun rose Lilith looked outside towards Desmonds carriage. Something had been calling to her last night, and she was very interested to see what. However she thought it would be better to wait for Desmond to return after the others came back. That is until Aleucard stormed into their carriage lashing out with his mind furious about something or other. And who is it I am suppose to keep an eye on?

Ron is more concerned with upgrading his equipment. So he lavishly spends one of his acquired gold in some upgrades.

You can see him genuinely happy with his new garments, not even slightly concerned about Allucard's hatred towards the druid or the twins.

@Ron and Allucard: "A living example of good manners", says Farael pointing to Allucard as he rampage back to his carriage.

"Dont push it, boys", said Desmond in warning to the twins who just kept with their knitting.

@The party: since you dont want to do more business (correct me if I'm wrong) the caravan eat the breakfast Mama cooked for them and departed through the wilderness.

The caravan ride through the grassy plains and some hills begins to come to sight.

It takes half hour and the terrain is now grassy hills, so the caravan goes through it with a slow pace. After two hours travelling up and down, up and down, your hear the eagle cry and begin to descend.

Alda turn back to homan form and speak to Desmond, but you can see Tim and Serjei get the boys ready, something in their expression showing that maybe trouble is coming.

"A band of orcs! Aproaching fast!", she says.

"Orcs? Are you kidding? This far on the south? It cant be possible! How did they managed to pass Valuria's Border undetected?", Desmond replies to her, looking to the hills above.

"I dont know, Whitestone Hall shut down inside their castle due to the disease, that's probably explain how".

"How much?", Desmond asks.

"A lot of them".

That's when you see six orcs riding big and ugly wolves, but surely not normal wolves.

"GRAKH TA VUJA!", one of them shouts and rise a spear with a human head tied to it.

From some distance you can hear a lot of shouts in orcish, but the hills cover the view of them. But it seems to be a lot.

Just noticed Ron and Lilith have no languages. Please fix that.

As Lilith hears that there were orcs nearby, and a lot of them she pretends to be afraid as she casts a simple spell to make her understand all languages. Vladimir is that a human head? She asks when the scouting party comes into view. Blake you stay in the carriage. Mommy and daddy have to go take care of a few things ok. Lilith says before climbing to the top of the carriage and looking around at everyone. Knowing that Aleucard may not want her to reveal her powers just yet she instead begins to sing a song to inspire courage in those around them, and strike the fires in their hearts.

Using the badge of valor as well as Inspirational Boost to grant all allies +4 bonus on Attack roll's, damage rolls, and saving throws.

Alda shout to everybody.
"Come to me! Desmond, Sara! You know what to do!" and move to the center of the carriages, "I'll leave these orcs to you now, Sergei!".

"I'm the leader! Not Sergei!", answer back Tim.

"Whatever".

All the merchants gather together and Sara grab Balphegor in her hands, "Come Blake, it is dangerous here". Then when they all hold their hands, Alda cast a spell and they all are swallowed by the earth, leaving you, the orcs, the Swords of Farlangh and the dire wolf.


@Allucard: the wolves aren't wolves, you read about such creatures: Worgs, more inteligents and evil cunning wolves capable of speaking.

Falken wait for prey to get near him and i happens that 3 of them charge him, greataxes in hand! Hopefully the dire wolf manage to kill one of them outright.

The other two though...

Falken took 23 damage.

The rest of the riders charge the Swords of Farlangh.

One tries his luck at Sergei and manage to hit him pretty bad.

Sergei: 16 damage

The other goes for Gimble, the only gnome in the group who was trading jokes with Sergei took the axe attack badly, but despite his small size managed to resist it.

Gimble: 12 damage

The last one try to cut Tim.. and is sucessful on that.
Tim: 11 damage.

From the hills you can see more orcs coming... and for the noise, even more seem to be coming.

They call this trained? Aleucard says mentally as he rises up to the top of the carriage like Lilth and surveys the battlefield. If he did not slow the enemy advance they would soon be over whelemed. However that dam wolf was really becoming a pain where it choose to stand. Having no choice he begins to call upon the terrain of the Malbolge, hoping his mistress was there at the moment in her friends court as he summoned an acidic swamp to cover the area the advancing army wished to cross if they wanted to get to them. A sickening fog covering those attacking the wolf.

Getting hit by incoming axe made no diference to Tim as he shouts to his Swords: "I can listen them surrounding us! Formation!"

Then the guards move around creating some wall of weapons to protect the sides of the carriage as well as the front.

Sergei lash out at the orc who charged him, piercing his throat with his silver rapier and then at the worg the (now fallen) orc was riding but barely manage to avoid piercing his own foot.

Tim take a step forward and make a shower of metal blades at the orc and worg near him, killing the rider but not the mount.

Feng the half orc move and bring down his axe at the damage worg, ending his life.

Gimble tumble away and send a flask out near the enemies threatening Falken, making the flask exploding in flames.. which are empowered by the caustic mire vapors. Falken and Tim takes some splash, but dont seem to mind.

Milo, Lyle and Aramis reach their ranged weapons and deliver bullets and arrow at the enemies, killing two orcs, leaving only their mounts standing on the mire.

Ron hammer smashes the worg head ugly. Its corpse fallen and slowly getting eaten by the acid below it.

Falken obey Ron commands like a domesticated puppy would, biting the wounded worg with its mighty jaws leaving the worg almost dead.

That's when the orcs react.

The nearly dead worg dies before acting due to acid damage.
But the other resist the acid and try to take down the much larger wolf, but failing at that, as Falken is agile and dodge it.

The two archers see the great goliath with sledgehammer and shot him, but all four arrows miss.

The worgs near Sergei move to flank him, one going for the small Gimble, tripping him down and dealing him more damage. The other move and trip Sergei, while the rider take his chance and attack the now prone Sword of Farlangh.

Gimble takes 6 damage and is prone.
Sergei takes 14 damage and is prone.

The axemen move around the caustic mire, one managing to charge Sergei and other to charge Feng, entering in a frenzy like state. Both hit and deals some great damage to the guards.

Sergei takes 22 damage.
Feng takes 18 damage.

True to what Tim told, more orcs appear besides the caravan doing.
You can hear a war drum and shouts coming too, but it's still not on sight.

As Aleucard sees more enemies coming from other sides he decides that it would be best to raise a fog cloud to hamper his enemies advance. And with that in mind he threw forth a ball of acidic smoke.

With more orcs coming, the Swords of Farlangh prepares to counter attack.

Johan and Leonard attack the rider who's flanking their second-in-command: Leonard bring down his morning startwice thanks to haste, killing the rider.
Johan strike the worg with his long sword, leaving the creature pretty damaged.

Enjoying the distraction, Sergei give the worgs each a prone attack with his rapier, finishing one off, before standing up and getting bite by the surviving worg, who almost bring him down. The barbarian try too to bring him down but is eluded by Sergei's dodge.

"Sergei, escape and heal yourself, we take care of these orcs", Leonard says, bold as any Valurian knight-wannabe.

Gimble get up and throws two fire flasks in the worg, the splash burining Sergei, as he barely manage to keep himself conscious, but charring the worg.

Tim shower the worg in steel and kill it.

Feng move and bring a barbarian down with his greataxe, cleaving on antoher.

Claude and Erik get ready to counter any charge from the orcs in the acid mist.

Lyle, Milo and Aramis shot the barbarians near Feng, hit all three attacks but they barely managed to fell the one who got the cleave attack.

On the other side, Joshua and Norman tries to bring down one of the axeman who just appeared: Joshua's halberd and Norman's broad sword almost killing it. Almost.

@Lilith: Aramis, the half-elf archer, shrug off your spell as it wouldn't let him use his bow.

Ron charges and destroy the orc face, like it was just a toy.

Falken imitates Ron and charge the other barbarian killing it as all his wounds close.

@Lilith and Ron: Apparently Alda is capable of casting spells at Falken even when she is inside her Land Womb... Interesting.


The orcs then began their slaughter.
A heavy armored orc appears and shout in orc:
"KUHZA AVERK NIJADA! MADA HADI TORU!"

Lilith (Translation):
"Focus on the weak ones! Kill all them!"

More orcs appear from all sides, including the war drummer in his frenzied battle song and what appears to be a shaman holding a scepter with a preserved eye attached to it (probably his own eye, since he miss one).

The barbarian near Feng come and slahs at him, hitting him in his neck, severing it and shouting as he does so.

The two archers try to bring Gimble down but the gnome manage to dodge two of the incoming arrows so he didn't get killed by have his lung perfurated and fall inconscious, slowly dying.

The barbarian orc near Ron pursue Sergei, hellbent to bring him down, but the second-in-charge of the Swords of Farlangh manage to dodge the incoming attack.

The orcs on the left side of the caravan focus on bring the halberd wielding Norman, a tall man from the southern lands. Two arrows manage to hit him, but both axemen barbarians managed to make a double fiasco

On the right side of the battle, the orcs archers flee from the acidic mists, but still take some damage from it. Rubbing their eyes, the archers shot at Claude, a longsword black man. Despise the eye irritation, one of the archers manage to pierce Claude's right eye and almost bring him down, was not Lilith's rage that keep him fighting, but unable to hit the charging orcs.

The axemen charge Erik, who raise his longspear but fail to pierce its hide armor. Both orcs manage to hit and does quite a damage: the first dismember his right arm, the other cut him in half. They still however stand in the acid mists. Seems like the friendly spearman wont be around anymore.

The sound of coming orcs also seem to disappear: maybe because the drums block all the coming noise or there arent any more.

As Aleucard sees the swords falling like flys he curses not being able to command them or use his full powers like he would normally. However as the leaders of the warband show themselves Aleucard smiles seeing the destructive power of the powers of the endless battlefields of the blood war blasting a large swath of land and taking in 5 enemies into its blast. Ron We will need you over here, I need to make sure I am able to complete my next spell. Aleucard says going to play the curse idea to its full effect, but first he needed to take care of the leaders of the army. With them gone they may simply flee. And with that thought in mind he pulls out a tiny ball of bat guano and sulfur and places it at the tip of his staff as he begins to chant.

As the chant comes to an end a small pea sized ball shoots out and goes flying in the direction of the commanders before exploding, leaving nothing but a charred wasteland where it exploded, smoke rising from the ground as the smell of burning flesh reaches his nose. The freball goes straight to the orcs leaders, hitting all of them fully, except the war drummer, charring the archer and a barbarian, but doing some damage to the shaman and the armored one.

The swords of Farlangh, with some deaths last round see the situation is getting worse than they hoped and attack with all they have.

On the right side, One-Eyed Claude (probably his new nickname, should he survive the battle, which seems unlikely) attack the orc in front of him, missing it badly. Maybe the last time he use a weapon.

On the left side, Josshua and Norman quickly attack the orcs, hoping to bring as much orcs down as they can. Norman kill one of the orcs barbarian with his halberd, while Josshua charge the archer, longsword in hand, dealing some decent damage.

Milo, Kyle and Aramis, the ranged Swords of Farlangh shot the enemies in the fog, hoping to keeping Claude alive: two bullets and an arrow later, one of them drops. All attacks hitting despise the fog.

Tim alone charge with both shorts swords in hand, taking down the bastard who killed Kenny Feng.

Sergei step away and drink a potion, probably one to restore some of his life back, letting Leonard and Johan to take care of his pursuer, easily killed by the hasted warriors.

Gimble keep dying silently as the axe wound bleeds profusely.

As Aleucard surveys the scene unfolding around them he calls out to the troops. Swords of Farlangh if you wish to live fall back to the carriages. Form tight ranks. Archers cover their retreat. Johhan see what you can do to help Gimble. Aleucard calls out as he sends a mental message to Lilith, The one with the greataxe heading towards the center. Break his mind and make him attack his allies.

The smell of fresh blood and burning bodies brought back such found memories for Lilith as she thought of all the sacrifices made to her by those silly cultists thinking she was a servant of their demoness, never realizing she was turning them to her will. And so it would be the same in this battlefield she thought as the mental command came from her master. Oh you are no fun, after all they are only orcs. she states looking at the one near the carriages.

Speaking mentally to the orc in its native tongue she sends a mental image of a beautiful strong orc woman. Please don't let your friends hurt me anymore. We were all put under a spell by an evil wizard to make us look like these bags of flesh, we are all really orcs. She says to him like a seductive orc woman would.

Suggestion spell Will DC 25, Bluff [roll0] that we are all orcs that got transformed into humans and elves by an evil wizard.

If it fails its save she will have it (orc in n5 is her target) attack orc in s4

The wardrummer keep beating his drum, to his orcs allies frenzy.

He however turn his attention to the man who threw the fireball and manipulate the sound around him, covering his carriage and its surrounds in zone of dead silence zone, the drums sounds and the orchish cries gone from your hears.

As Aleucard is listening to the battle and how it is going he turns his head as he notices the war drummer about to do something. Figuring it would be some kind of order he is about to direct Ron to smash him into the ground when nothing happens.......... Really is that the best you can do. Aleucard says before he notices no words coming out of his mouth. Lilith he has silenced us, we need to get out of this area and fast. You know what to do. He says looking up in the air as he looks at the enemies on the right flank. It was time he let his curse out.

Ron's frenzied gaze turns towards the orc drummer.

Simply move next to the drummer and use his mountain hammer maneuver... sundering the drums. Ron charges and with a loud "THHUMMP!" smash the drum!

But not before the heavy armored orc cut him down at the guts with his longsword, a dark longsword.

Ron: takes 22 damage.

The drummer was about to complain when the goliath raise the hammer at the side of his head, spraying blood and brains in the grass. Apparently, the drummer wont be complainning anymore.

Falken move towards Gimble and lick him, healing the gnome some wounds and bringing him to consciousness.

The orcs then act.
On the left side the barbarians attack each Sword of Farlangh once, Norman falling under the orc greataxe, but still alive, if barely.
The archers then take their chances at Josshua, killing him with a shower of arrows.

On the right side of the battle, the barbarian keep ignoring the fact the mists are eating his flesh away and deliver a pwoerful blow at Claude, killing him and then moving out of the mist towards the carriage.

@Lilith: one of the new comer is ready to go charging at you, but that's when the orc under your spell shout "...", you can't hear what he shout, but it seems the rest of the orcs ignored it as well. Seeing one of the orcs comign to you, he charge it midway, dealing a great ammount of damage. The charging orc fail to pass your sanctuary, looking at you with confusion in his eyes.

@Allucard: The archers then shoot at you, both of them hitting you regardless of the cover provided by the carriage or your arcane defenses.

Allucard takes 25 damage.

The orcs around Tim flank him and bring their axes at him, one missing and other hitting his back with great strenhgt: whatever the song the drummer played was, it sure increased these orcs strenght.

The archer at the far end of the caustic mire aim at Tim and shot an arrow at the sky, missing him by far.

The lone barbarian at southwest part of the map charge at Sergei, hellbent to not let him survive this battle, his axe hitting his shoulder but unable to drop him.

The shaman then look at the carriage and at the pretty damaged Swords of Farlangh before raising his fist with unholy flame and, with a quick prayer, bring it down as a gigantic fist made of unholy flame appears in the sky and smite Falken, Gimble, Sergei and Johann, as well as the forge-carriage of Oskar.

@Lilith and Allucard: despite not being able to hear him, you recognize the spell as Flame Strike.

Falken fur is charred by the spell, but he stands.
Sergei leap over and escape the blast, but the recently healed Gimble and Johan arent as lucky as that and are turned instantly in ashes.

The orc leader then, his armor sprayed with his minion blood look at Ron, an opressing aura around him. With great strenght behind, he attack you, his sword leeching at your very soul.

Ron: 24 damage plus Vampiric Touch for 25 damage.

"Ah, you're not a good one. What a waste of my time", this time in common.

The second attack misses you and hit the ground turning the grass black.
He then cover himself in a fiery aura that quickly vanishes.

As Aleucard sees more of the men fall he curses at how week they were. How the hell could they have been over taken so easily by a pack of orcs. His army had held orcs back for years he himself only feel after a massive army had laid siege to his empire and he was defending the villages. Then he saw one foolish enough to step into range of combat with him. Moving with quick perscision he deftly leaps from the back of the Carriage hiding himself in the middle of all of them before looking around him quickly and trying to talk. Happy he was able he begins.

Rip a hole in space and time and unleash the flames of Phlegethos upon these orcs who would dare threaten me and those who travel with me. Aleucard calls out and almost immediately the smell of burning flesh begins to premate the air as two gaping holes in the sky appear and a dense cloud surrounds Aleucard. شیطان , یک متروک you have been given your orders now stop these orcs in their place and make them cower in fear. Aleucard says to the two beasts that appear from the holes in the sky.

Not a single spot on these creatures bodies is not covered in spikes as the two look around, their purple wings keeping them afloat in the air. Twisting their heads all the way around to look at the full scope of the situation they both lift a single finger and point its spiny protrusion at a different location covering the area in a thick fog as the smell of sulfur and rotting eggs fills the air.

The orc try to cleave Allucard as he leave his side, but fail at that.


Then the devil appear and create clouds of fetid smoke, but apparently these orcs are used to even worse smells, as they keep fighting ignoring the hellish stink.

The few Swords that still live keep the fighting going.

Tim attack with his short swords, finishing one of the orcs and leaving the other in his death bed.

The ranged trio help Tim to put down the nearly dead orc, Aramis shooting stright between his eyes immediatly killing him. The halfling slingers try their luck at the damaged orc, killing him with their bullets.

Norman's condition get worse (at -2 hp now).

Leonard and Sergei move to flank the hellbent barbarian, killing him pretty bad.

@Allucard: "What the hell is those devils, Draco?", shout Sergei at you.

Great more of those disgusting things, and here I thought he was not going to call on them this time. Lilith says disgust in her mind as she sees the creatures flying about in the sky. You don't really think that tactic will stop them will you? She sends out to Aleucard. These were not weak spellcasters, these were orcs and warriors, for them to fall to such a spell would only show they were weak and did not deserve to live.

However Lilith had more pressing issues as she looked down at the orc near her. Seeming like she was levitating Lilith rose 5ft into the air, making her now 15ft of the ground as she looks at the orc she had taken control of. Eliminate the one who is trying to harm me. He does not realize I am one of you and wants to kill me because of it. She sends threw the link, before looking in the direction of another of her enemies and asking him to stop his friends from hurting her.

Charm monster DC25 Will save. As it is not suggestion I should be able to have both up. Lilith will target one of the orcs on the opposite side of the field if possible and able to see them, though 15ft in the air I think she should. The one she takes control of will attack the archers on that side.

The orc leader proves himself unforgiving. The whole place is proving itself unforgiving. There's acid and fire and blood and pain. Pain, which is what Ron is bringing him for his insolence.

And he deliver a series of brutal strikes at his equipment.

Ron throw his sledge hammer aggainst the orc leader's equipments, but the fetid fog the devils cast upon the battlefield served the orc well: the first swing of the sledgehammer missed his sword, but the second landed solid at it and shattered his longsword. The third one maanged to damage his dark shield, but it is sturdy and survived the goliath mighty.

Falken goes to Norman Rescue, biting his throat and dilacerating it with his jaws.

The orcs then gang on the dire wolf, hoping to kill the beast, but one of them fail to Lilith's charm and try to save the wolf, hitting his ally with an axe in the head which cause some ruckus as the orc counterstrike

"You're crazy too, Urgal!"

The second orc have a little more lucky and behead the charmed orc.

Still the archers pierce the wolf skin with their arrows, leaving him barely counscious. From somewhere inside the earth someone cryed in anger.

@Allucard: "The druid woman is losing her control down here, master", comes a telepathic message to you. Balphegor, of course.

One of the archer at right side throws up his breakfast, but the other resist it and shoot at Lilith, but his arms freeze before shooting her, unable to bypass the demoness aura of temptation.

The two orcs fight each other.

"What you're doing, dumbass?"

"What orc girl? It's a human!"

"How dare you?"

The battle is quick: one get a deep wound in the guts while the other lose his head. The suggested orc winning and looking at the archers.

@Ron: The lone archer on the other side of the mire pay attention to you attacking his leader and shoot an arrow at you, hiting your ankle.

@Christine: you try to charm the orc leader, but brute as he may seem he ignore your enchantment and think back to you.

The shaman laughter as he see the efforts of the guards being in vain and the carriage hit by his deity's fist in flames, but his laughter is quickly silenced as he see Sergei alive after receiving Gruumsh's wrath.

"KHAZ JADARA!", he shouts and a piercing sound makes Sergei's head goes wild with pain as he drop to the ground and convulsionates in utter pain

Tell Alda that her pet will be safe and that she owes me. Aleucard says threw his mental connection to his familiar before using one of his most powerful summoning spells he has ever used. In fact this would only be the second time he had ever used it. The first only being while he was learning it under his mentor.

Calling forth the powers of hell he begins to chant once more a glowing red ring surrounding the wolf on all sides it seems as it expands. And with that an unearthly howl can be heard in the distance as the smell of a fresh kill can be smelt across the battle field, and thats when they appear, like any pack surrounding their injured member protectively.

And with an amused grin Aleucard watches from a safe distance as a cloud forms around each of his creatures so that the enemy does not know what had just come to the field, all they knew were sharp fangs were trying to rip into their flesh and pull them down to the ground.

Aleucards turn was casting summon monster 5 and failing epicly to summon 4 fiendish dire wolves and instead only got two.

Anubis and his pack had just got done taking down a lesser demon, a very good meal indeed he thought as his powerful jaws ripped into the creatures body, covering his face with the blood of the enemy, his pack doing the same with their own kills. It was then though he heard the call from one of his mistress servants asking for him and his pack to come. However his pack was hungry and they were not promised food, as such he only left bringing along one of his lower members of the pack.

The mortal should have told him there would be food, Anubis thinks to himself as he lets out a howl, both to let the one who came with him, as well as the other wolf know that they were to devour the meal presented to them.

The dire wolves came with an otherwordly hunger, as they feast in the living orcs in front of them, ripping them appart like it was nothing.

The devils then look at some archers and begins to bully then sending spines to create a painful death for them, but a slow one, as the orcs survive the attacks only to smell their own flesh burning.

The last Swords of Farlangh are left with little to do.
Norman keeps bleeding to death, he can even see his grandmother calling him.

Sergei keeps screaming like a little girl, as the pain courses through his body and try to drive him crazy.

Tim enjoy being hasted on go get the lone archer, double cutting a X in his torso killing him, his face touching the toxic mire and being eaten slowly.

The ranged trio shot the orc near the carriage, the same Lilith suggested.
Only Aramis hit due to concealment from the stinking cloud, but he does so with expertise and slay him.

Seeing themselves alone in a hopeless battle, the archers run backto the hills.

The shaman however dont seem interested in running away, instead he looks with his only eye with pure hatred at Ron, who killed his champion and move close to him and try to kill him for that.

He move around the stinking cloud, ignoring its harmful effects and touch Ron in his chest and shout "KAVATCH!".

Ron feel a sudden pain in his chest, his heart begins to beat faster and faster like he was going to explode

As Aleucard sees the two archers retreating he calls out to the two spined devils in the sky. After them, do not let them escape. Take their bodies back with you. We want no evidence for their main army if their is one to know they were attacked. Rather have them be seen as missing then dead, or worse. Once that task is complete you may leave. Aleucard says to the two as they speed off after the fleeing orcs, orbs of fire in one hand, another one of their spines in the other.

Turning back to the otherside of the battlefield Aleucard then commands Anubis and one of his lessers to help Ron finish off the shaman and cut off his escape.

His lesser just as eager for their meal hungrily finishes ripping the leg of their last enemy apart before charging the shaman with one eye woundering what he would taste like.

As Aleucard himself walks over to Sergei trying to do what little he could to stop the mans wounds from bleeding out. As the stinking fog disapates he calls over to the other swords that are still alive to help their fallen comrades.

Anubis fail to hit the shaman, he seems shielded in some strange energy. But his lesser companion manage to not only biting the orc's leg as well as tripping him, leaving him defenseless at Ron's feet.

The Swords of Farlangh hurry to help Sergei, the trio running and trying to heal him, but the pain comes from the evil spell the shaman cast on him and no ammount of mundane healing can stop it.

The clouds begin to dissipate, returning to the lower planes.

One hit. Just one hit was needed to smash the poor excuse of an orc that was the shaman.

A few seconds later the two spinned devils reapper carrying the two dead orcs who fleed.

@Allucard: "We're done here", they speak in infernal.
And with a little "Poof" they're gone.

Seeing the worst was past, the land womb open and the merchants reappear at the caravan.

"Holy sh..", says Desmond before looking at the kid he calls Blake, "You better stay in the carriage, kid. Sara, see to it ok? No need for him to see such scene".

"Ah damn! I love bloodshed :smallmad:", he tell Allucard telepathically before taking Sara's hands and getting into the carriage.

Rosa take a moment looking at the deads and then at the devilsish wolves. Looking then with shock to Allucard, she takes Blake's hand and carry him inside the carriage.

"Falken, over here!", Alda calls the dire wolf and look at his wounds, ignoring the screaming Sergei, "Good good", she tell him as she heal his damages. Then looking at Sergei, she just sigh, "Sadly, I don't have a spell to stop your pain, but rest asured you'll survive it, even though the experience isnt nice".

@Ron: Tim Three-Fingers move toward you and with a quick nod, "You did well, my friend". There is sadness in his voice he then goes checking each Sword of Farlangh till he reach Norman.

"Hey! Alda! He's still alive".

Moving fast the druid move and heal the Sword of Farlangh enough to bring him back to consciousness.

"Grandma!", he says, his eyes still focusing on Alda, who look with disregard to her.

"I don't have a son your size :smallannoyed:", she says and then get close to Desmond.

After a minute the pain is gone, but Sergei barely stop trembling.
"There you go, I'll make you some tea now, honey", tell a preoccupied Mama hugging Sergei and with a head gesture making Norman and the trio of ranged Swords of Farlangh in side her carriage, leaving only Desmond, Oskar (too busy trying to put the fire in his carriage), Alda and Falken, the Half-Elf Twins (who seemed to finished their knitting), Tim and you.

"So what we do now?", Desmond ask you.

"First, we need to bury their corpses...", Tim begins.

Finally giving up on putting the fire off the carriage, Oskar simply run inside it and take off his hammer back and a heavy wooden barrel, "We'll take their weapons as loot, that might help us to pay for the damages and death"

Alda then tell them, "We'll need to put you in good shape as well"

And then they look at Allucard, as for waiting for what he have to say.

"Fair. Sorry about that particular longsword though. His face when I destroyed his precious blade was priceless. In the heat of the battle you don't think too much about the loot. But if you don't mind, we'll take our share."

Falken is fine Alda, it seemed he had family that wanted to make sure he was not slain. Anubis and another of his pack are cleaning up the mess now left behind of the orc bodies. If you wish to thank them I would do so soon though as their time is almost up. Aleucard says kindly to the druid understanding at least the pain of almost losing one you shared a life with.

As the others bury the bodies Aleucard does what he can to help, not being strong enough to dig holes he tries to bring the bodies over where they need to be, while praying over each and every body that they find their way to his mistress. When all is finally done and all turn to look at him Aleucard leans heavily on his staff as he raises an eyebrow at all of them. And may I ask why you are all standing around looking at me that way? I made it very clear I was a wizard, and cursed. What you took that to mean is your call not my own. However the fact so many died you can blame on the two who hid instead knitting themselves a new outfit when they could have been helping outside keep your valiant men alive. Ask them all if you must. I never did one thing to harm a single one of them, me and my wife made sure that they could fight and after that did all we could to protect them. He says leaning heavily on his staff, as if he needed it to hold himself up because of the drain the battle had taken on him.

@Ron: "Your share? Sure, we'll share it in 5 parts: one for you, one for Draco, one for Lily, one for the Swords and other to the Merchants of the Long Road", Desmond tell you as the Tim go with Oskar piling the orcs and the Swords in two diferent piles.

Seeing you calling forth demons from everywhere", he says, clearly a man with no planar knowledge to make the mistake devils for demons, "Anyway, you did help us and for that we are grateful. As for the twins", he take a look at them, "You have to understand we are merchants and not fighters, same for Oskar, strong as he is", he then take a look at Tim, "Tim's Swords of Farlangh were well paid to fight and defend the caravan, sad and cruel as this may sound", he then leave and go see Sara and Blake.

"Like I would greet some unnatural wolf like those", Alda tell you before casting some healing spells over the group, "But I'm not ungrateful, you helped Falken and for that I say thank you", the short woman then go help the burying.

Three hours later, you finish to bury all the Swords of Farlangh, Alda making a departing ritual for them as you know from Desmond she was a priest before turning to druidhood.

"May your souls wander the eternal roads of Farlangh", she finish.

On the other pile, things werent so smooth, as Oskar and the others convinced the arcane twin to fireball the corpse to ashes. Not something nice to see... for them, Balphegor maanged to spy on it throught the carriage window and seemed to enjoyed it.

A thir pile now stand on the ground, one of axes and longbows, as well as hide armors and rings.

"The equipment of the dead Swords of farlangh wont be shared, just to let you know", Tim tell everyone just to make clear.

The twins cast a Detect Magic spell on the items and a few reveal as magical: the shaman's cape, ring and staff, the leader's full plate armor and his helm and the wardrummer chainshirt.

With some taps of their pearly white wand, the twins reveal the magic items properties:

"The cape confers resistance aggainst harmful effects (a +2 cloak of resistance), the ring protects aggainst attacks of all forms (a +1 ring of protection), the staff is a enchanted weapon, but it's magic is poor (a +1/masterwork staff), the full plate have magical enhancements to protect better the owner (+1 fullplate armor), the helm raise the owner's force will, but have the unholy symbol of Gruumsh and is bad fashioned in my opinion (+2 Helm of Wisdom) and the chainshirt have a similar enchantment as the full plate, both poor works (+1 chainshirt)", Rafael tell you all the properties of the items as Farael calculate the average market value of them all.

"This put at our hands the value of approximatadely 16.200 gp worth of items, market value of course. Divided in 5 it will give 3.240 gp worth of items for you. We'll even let you pick first", says Farael.

Oskar finish counting the mundane items: 6 masterwork reinforced longbows (reinforce 3), about 200 arrows of common quality, 18 common greataxes and 7 of masterwork quality, 30 filthy hide armors, a wooden unholy symbol of Gruumsh.
Looking at it, the merchant takes a few minutes to calculate everything value, market price wise, "A total of something around 7.020 gp worth on market price"

They found no gold nor jewels nor artworks.

Desmond write things up in his journal and then comes with the final sum: "A total of 23.610 gp. It share gets 4.722 gp items worth. You three can choose first, as a proof of my apreaciation for what you did. Also, we'll gladly buy whatever you dont want, but not at market price value, of course".

As Desmond reveals that they were not mad at him just surprised Aleucard takes on a less worried look, happy he did not have to fight his way out of this one as well. I called forth devils Desmond, demons are too chaotic to be trusted. Devils for all their flaws have a strict moral code they follow, and as long as you make sure to read the fine print you are normally safe. Aleucard explains not wanting anyone to think he was dealing with demons. Well he was with Lilith, but she was a slave, he told himself as if that excused everything. I understand the twins may not be fighters however most battles hinge on magical support. As you see your swords had none until we arrived. If they had faced off against our enemies alone I doubt any would still be alive. Those with power must use it to protect those that matter to them, as well as their own personal interests. Aleucard says looking to the dwarf who had lost many of his goods due to the fire. I personally do not need anything that is here and as such I will only accept half of what my share is to help our friend here get back onto his feet. I saw his craftsmanship and know that he has lost a lot. It is only fair that he be reimbursed as such. I would do so for the swords if they had not already said their items were their own, thus claiming their own wealth. Aleucard explains so their was no hard feelings.

You can call Anubis and his pack unnatural however if you were in their home it would be you who was unnatural. So you see it is all a matter of view point Alda, in the end they saw one of their kin hurt and went to his aid.I only called them forth, it was they that choose to protect him. Aleucard says humbly.

I can respect your honesty Desmond, not many would be so truthful as you. A good trait if I say so myself. Desmond I am not a strong man like I once was, and asking for my wife to fight as well....I know I could call on creatures to fight for us, but never do they do so without something in return. Normally they only ask for a small trinket, something to show your thanks if you will. My wife however I doubt would ever actually fight anything, she finds it beneath her, though she makes sure those fighting to protect her are always at their best. Perhaps you should ask the leader of the swords what he thinks first Desmond so that they do not feel hurt or betrayed. If they are willing to allow my help then I will accept on the account of those you have named. Aleucard says kindly thinking it was a good way to make money.

Oh don't worry about Blake seeing such things, with the traveling me and his father do seeing scenes like that is not uncommon. In fact I even brought him a bow to learn how to use. Meanwhile Allucard look at them, not knowing if he interrupt or only watch. That's when Balphegor, his (let's hope) loyal familiar speak in his mind: "Master, Lilith is up to something. Aleucard is a bit caught of guard as the lovely miss Sarah comes to join them and immediately begins asking him about willing to be her mentor. Sarah I believe that is a talk for you and your father. Aleucard says kindly to her as he looks over to Desmond as if saying he had nothing to do with this for once.

As the two fight before him Aleucard is about to step in when he hears Balphegor message. Great now I need to deal with them too. He thinks to himself as he calculates how long it would take the two before they got spotted. Just keep an eye on her for now and get out quick if you even think you see someone coming, use your powers if you must just don't be seen. And tell her if she so much as robs a single hair from a rug she will being punished tonight. he sends to his loyal familiar.

Stepping between the two fighting Aleucard holds up his hand trying to calm the two down. Desmond I can see both points to this and am willing to offer a solution. As with the twins I would be willing to summon lesser creatures for her to try her skills at, nothing I would not be able to control with ease mind you. This would thus let your daughter see what you are trying to protect her from while allowing her to show you how skilled she is already and why she feels she deserves to go. At least the two were done arguing for the most part now to make sure....Thats when he saw an arrow wiz at Desmonds feet and "Blake holding a bow. I thought I told you two to get out of their before anyone noticed. Aleucard says mentally before looking to the sky. And please tell me that is one of you two because if not. Aleucard says looking up while preparing for the worst as he takes out a foul smelling paste that seems to have bits of bone and onyx inside it. In a matter of seconds a black crackling aura surrounds him as the spell he had cast earlier seems to change and become more intimidating in appearance.

Lilith says looking at the box and all the other things she had found during a quick search. Thats when the footsteps were heard outside and cries of dragons. Great no one can just leave me alone so I can do what I need to now can they. Maybe this will give me some time with Desmond though to find out what is in the box. She thinks to herself as she appears by Blakes side.

Oh my first orcs now dragons....Dear do you think we will be able to deal with them as I doubt we can outrun them. She says a worried look on her face.

"Get out of me, foul beast!", the whispers hit Balphegor's mind by surprise. Whatever was inisde it talked to him too, but way less friendly than to Lilith.

"Whatafu** is in this damn chest?", he ask outloud and then he hear the footsteps coming, grab the bow and aim at Desmond's feet, "I'll give distraction and change the subjects with this guy. Hope I miss".

Stepping outside the arriage, you see the imp doing a poor performance, but good enough to trick those mortal, how pathetic.

Alda grit her teeth, but manage to keep the primal instinct of running away, but her wolf hide in behind her master's legs shaken.

@Lilith: despise the dragons presence, you maintain your composure. You have seem more frightening horrors in the abyss before after all.

@Allucard: for a moment there your cane shake violently and your heart beat faster than you thought was possible. Balphegor seems to sense your fear and you can feel the imp is scared too. Both are shaken for 12 rounds.

@Ron: the presence of these dragons remembered you your childhood, where the great white dragon used to make fun on the younger ones by putting fear in their hearts. Instead one of them descends and grab Desmond's carriage before getting airborne again. The second dragon breath a cilinder if acid directed right to Allucard, before getting away from point blank shot.

"Sie sollten dankbar sein, wir nicht zerschlagen Sie alle wie die Insekten sind Sie", he says getting at 60 ft above the ground level.

@The Party: something seem to go wrong in the negotiation, probably from Allucard part and it seems Lilith barely managed to keep the dragons from killing you, but one of them give it a try as he breath acidic death on you.

Lilith, Balphegor, Sarah, Desmond, the twins and Allucard are showered in acid.

Each twin jump and take the full blast of the effect, protecting Sarah and Desmond who otherwise would failed to keep their lifes. Even with Farael covering her, Sarah's flesh is very damaged and she fall unconcious, but hopefully alive. Their heroic deed almsot killed them: Rafael is barely conscious, his stylish robes dissolved and leaving his beautyful skin burnt in the back. Same goes for Farael, but he seems to be better than his twin.

Balphegor natural ressitance to acid blocked much of the damage, but he barely managed to dive for cover.

Balphegor took 19 damage (resistance already counted).

@Lilith: the dragon's will power was enough to bypass your protections, which was so surprizing you didnt even had time to try to evade the incoming attack.

Lilith took 24 damage (resistance already counted).

@Allucard: maybe the trembling or the cane, but something stayed on your way, preventing you from escaping the acid punishment for insulting a dragon. It probably wasnt meant to insult them, but they are a prideful species and take everything as insult. A lesson you sure will record just from watching the burned skin due to the acid.

Allucard took 29 damage.

@The Party: the dragons begin soaring and, unless any of you try anything, they'll ly away carrying Desmond carriage along with his stash.

@Lilith: in your mind you can hear a cry for help, "Noooo! Save meeeeee!", the same unknown voice coming from Desmond's chest.

As Aleucard is covered in the acidic breath of the dragons he coughs as the smell of the acid eatting away at everyones skin reaches his nose, he did not mind others in pain. But himself was another matter. Desmond you hired us to help, what do you want us to do? Go after your carriage or count it as a loss? He asks wanting their employers oppinion before rushing to anything. You are welcome to stay in my own if you wish to rather leave it with them.

@Party: Desmond seem to inore you as he hold to an unconscious Sarah and begin taking bottles of potions to heal her, but his nervous hands only mess and he cant even deal with the stopper.

"Here here", say Farael holding his holy symbol of Boccob and touching Sarah's breast right next to the heart as a wave of holy energy cover her body and make all her wounds dissapear.

@Allucard: Desmond look at you once Sarah is dealt with, "You think you can kill those beasts? If so, I would give any reward. There is all my stuff and my stash, and... Oh for Farlangh, my life is in that carriage!"

@Party: Farael and Rafael look at the three of you, "You wish to go up there and fight them? If so let's help you", and saying this Rafael touch the three of you and with the help of scroll grant you all the ability to fly, "It wont last long, about five minutes only", he warn you.

Farael take his time to heal each one of you with his best healing spells.
Allucard heals 19 hp.

As Aleucard pulls out one of his more powerful magic items out he calls forth its power as he feels the arcane energies all around him surge back into him. I believe it is not hopeless as of yet nor wise to give up if that is what you are asking. Aleucard says as they all get spells cast onto them. Ron do not resist this spell it will make you stronger. Aleucard says as he calls down a bolt of lighting to strike Ron in the chest, and oddly enough instead of harming the Goliath it makes him grow in size.

Aleucard had been holding back for quite some time now and as he sees the dragons in the air a smile comes across his face. You know I never got to thank you for your gift. Perhaps I should return the favor now. and with that a large fireball appears at the tip of his staff before he launches it directly between the two towering dragons. Lilith I will be needing you to direct me soon, for I will not be able to see.

Why of course master. Lilith says happily as she begins to sing a song of brave knights slaying a dragon for stealing a fair maiden.

As Ron acts Lilith feels time slow down just enough for her to act again as she makes all her allies that much faster.

Before the dragons can react, Lilith's voice fill the air,singing about dragonslaying and saving maidens, which is enough to enfuriating the dragons.

But before thy can do anything, a small orb of fire fly from Allucard's staff right between them where she then expand enclosing the dragons with fire: the one carrying the carriage can't help much but take the balst in the face as his claws let the carriage free for falling and smashing on the ground far below, but the second one, a female do manage put her wing between the explosion and her eyes, avoid all damage as the spell seems to unnafect her.

"Sie denken, Sie können uns mit einem solchen Trick zu besiegen?", she speak to Allucard as the spell has no effect on her but then seeing the carriage falling and crashing with a loud boom, she tell the male one, "Hey Rinsey, warum Sie es fallen lassen? The dragons then both breath fly closer to you (30ft away from you) and bath you in acid.

Allucard nimblely manage to evade both the breaths attacks.
Allucard takes 25 total damage, after acid resistance.

Lilith manage to evade the female dragon breath, but take the male one full in her face as she feels her dress and body begin to be slowly eating away.
Lilith takes 37 total damage, after acid resistance.
Lilith manage to resist the female dragon frightful presence and thus is immune to both dragons frightful presence.

Ron reflexes is almost that of a rock, as he took both blast straight in his face
Ron takes 52 total damage, after the acid resistence.

Alda take both breaths as well, despise being agile as an eagle.

She's looking badly hurt.

Ron them shout to Lilith, giving her motivation enough to to casting Haste, but not before he charges straight foward the male dragon, smashing his face (and drawing an Aoo as he does so). The dragon didnt seem much content with the attack.

The dragon bite you an almost miss the attack.

Alda, damaged and in eagleform conjure two nets made of what seems to be algae and that manage to grab both dragons, despite their strenght and size, blocking their wings to keep flying and making they begin to fall at high speed towards the ground (both sink 150ft in the air and will crash on the ground in the next turn)

The dragons are now at height of 100ft and you are at height of 250ft from the ground.

As the rays hit the dragon's scales they turn it red from the blazing heat.
"Your boyfriend's not looking that good, submit and admit defeat and willing to be an equal partner of mine and I will let you live, refuse and I will destroy you"

The female dragon rips the algae from her, setting her free and manage to stop the fall, "He's my brother, not my lover, human" she roars to you, this time in Common.

His brothers fails to rip the algae around and his body falls on the ground, furtheiring destroying the carriage and probably some of his ribs.

Meanwhile, 250ft fromthe ground, seeing how injured Ron is from the breath attacks, Alda give him a not so gentle peck in his shoulder, restoring some vitality back to him before diving to 160ft height.

And is even amused as the female says it is her brother not lover that they were killing. All the more reason for you to surrender dear. I can also promise that if you don't he will make you watch him kill your brother slowly and relive the moment over a thousand times before killing you. Lilith says with her flesh melting off of her body.

As the male dragon dies from his many wounds Aleucard looks to the female dragon across from him. Now I believe I promised you a world of pain and suffering if you refused to surrender, shall we continue? Aleucard says as he vanishes as a cloud of sulfuric acid covers her face from seeing anything. It is two bad as well for upon both sides of her appear two giant bats that seem eager to eat.

Using the distractions granted Aleucard knowing she can not see him due to the fog makes a quick run to end up behind her.

Standard action to cast SM3 to summon 2 Fiendish dire bat flanking both sides of her face overlapping their cloudy conjuration so she can not see at all. And Aleucard is using his move action to withdraw behind her.:smallwink:

As the two creatures get summoned from the stables on the first layer of hell during a rest in the blood wars, the smell of acid seems to excite them as they look around for their target. Kill the female dragon. Is all they need to hear from the one that summoned them as both let out a loud screech and begin their assualt on the dragons face before them.
