We've had several threads worth of cold shudders, yes :P

I had a thought about that, Durkon said that Thor's thunderstorms serve as blessings or ill omens (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0199.html), I wonder if Durkon is feeling like an ill omen.

Rain =/= Thunderstorm.

O-Chul notes here that for him, rain is "a tiny blessing from the Twelve gods"

Maybe Durkon has his own interpretation of it?

Or maybe durkon is wanting a rain of blood from Thor's enemies so he can drink his fill.

Imagine a version singing in the rain but with durkon bouncing around with an umbrella.

Imagine a version singing in the rain but with durkon bouncing around with an umbrella....rain of blood, that is. I'm not sure which disturbs me more: the dancing in the blood, or the image of Durkon hopping and dancing around cheerfully.

What is it about that song that inspires thematic dissonance? It's not the first time we've seen it associated with violence. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Clockwork_Orange_%28film%29)

Or maybe he's just using a figure of speech common in his homeland.

Which doesn't change what OP said.

His homeland is underground. I wonder how much rain they get there. :smallconfused: :smallsmile:

All vampiric clerics are actually Slayer fans.

But the fact that, as some pointed out, an underground civilization adores a weather god sure is interesting.
