sun wukong in d&d

i want to see if anyone can make sun wukong (the hero of journey to the west) using 3.5, i don't particularly want it for a game, i just think it would be a good exercise.

Green Ronin's "Jade dragons and hungry ghosts" has stats for the Monkey King. It's 3.0, and not particularly impressive compared to what the TO boards can come up with, but fun enough.

You could get pretty close with an anthropomorphic monkey or were monkey using Diana's staff and swordsage. Figure out some way to get an oozes split ability and you are pretty much there.

Vanara Swordsage with a Staff (rod?) of Surprises, and a riverine glamered flying tower shield.
You have a staff that can extend up to 60ft, hold up to I think 1000lbs, and a cloud that you can fly around on.

In terms of practical building, I'd probably go Hadronzee Swordsage, either straight to 20 or Swordsage/Wu Jen/Jade Pheonix Mage.
