Vancian Casting/Power Point conversion

I remember a while ago that someone had figured out the average value of Vancian spell levels when converted over into the power point system for Psionics. Does anyone happen to have it or a link to it?

There's the official spell points variant (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/magic/spellPoints.htm), but it's pretty poorly balanced for prepared casters in particular.

honestly casters are powerful enough, they don't need to have a "Mana" system where they can put all their spell points into highest level spells.

Just for the sake of completeness (and because every point needs a counterpoint), here is Ernir's system, which I consider to be rather superior to ordinary Vancian casting, and rather remarkably complete in detail instead of relying on overgeneralized guidelines for conversion.
