So the Mage Slayer line of feats can be helpful for characters who want to have a chance of killing unoptimized and/or low level casters. However, we also know that the best way to kill casters is to BE a caster as there are very few things that the mundanes can do that can rival a twinned Celerity.
Solution: Find ways that explicitly set your caster level!
The one class that comes to mind is Abjurant Champion 5. A fairly good class to begin with allows you to take the Mage Slayer feats and ignore the -12 caster level penalty.
Can you guys think of anything else that either a) a powerful ability that penalizes caster level OR b) ability that explicitly set your caster level.
Edit: I should have specified that I am assuming Arcane Disciple[War] or using a near-full BAB build to actually have a good BAB. =)
