Hey all,

Just a thought exercise - what would be some of the better PrCs a single classed Aristocrat (assume standard PHB race such as Human or Elf) could qualify for?

Aristocrats get: medium BAB, good will saves, all simple & martial weapons, and all types of armor and shields. Class skills: Appraise, Bluff, Diplomacy, Disguise, Forgery, Handle Animal, Intimidate, Knowledge (all), Listen, Perform, Ride, Sense Motive, Speak Language, Spot, Swim & Survival.

There must be a few powerful PrCs they could slide into without needing dips?

Cheers - T

Horizon Walker would be pretty easy. 8 ranks in a class skill, a tax of one feat. Not amazingly powerful but useful.

Witch Slayer (ToM) is decent. +5 BAB, 4 ranks in 2 class skills.

Chameleon. Only skill that's cross-class for an Aristocrat is Spellcraft, which you only need 4 ranks in. A Human Aristocrat can get in with a single feat spent and 12 unspent skill points assuming an Int of 10.

Jester, an aristocrat should be able to force saves vs. nausea with the right joke.

There's one in Fangs and Fury, get to cast command, enhance allies (sort of like a marshal) and influence people's opinion.

I like the idea of an Aristocrat/Chameleon. Since Able Learner is a feat req, the 4 ranks of spellcraft still only cost 4 skill points.

Witch Slayer is interesting too.

Spymaster would be a natural for an Aristocrat.

Don't know if that would be "powerful," but it would be thematically appropriate for a socially elite manipulator, and Spymaster would be simple for an Aristocrat to enter.
