What if they allowed you to substitute enemies from the game in place of Raiden (you could upgrade their attacks and stuff with BP).

So, for example, you could play as a Gekko. Could it work?

Got this idea from a cheatcode in Oni (bungie games) where you could change character model (and gain their attack modes too) to anything that was in the level (even the final boss).

Well there's DLC to play as Sam and Blade Wolf.

Though to be honest whilst that cheat in Oni was entertaining the enemies were all rubbish with really limited movesets except the endboss (And he was the only one who could do the healthpack overcharge thing), and the same thing would basically happen in MGR:R.

Now, being able to play as some of the other bosses would be cool, especially Mistral or Monsoon. Getting their weapons as secondaries is fine and all, but not quite the same as being able to use some of their more unique properties.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I thought too. The enemies you fight wouldn't make for good playable characters, because they're mostly far more limited in what they can do than Raiden. Maybe one of the robots for gits and shiggles, but it'd probably get old after a fairly short time.

The bosses would be cool to try, though.

I'd LOVE to see a dlc where you play as the final boss of the game.

Most fights would be fairly one-sided, wouldn't they?

Not that they already aren't when you play as Raiden, but still.
