Hello forum. I am brand new to path finder but played DDO so it's not completely foreign. I have heard that multiclassing in path is generally carp. But I want to try it anyways. So made this char, check out the pick and let me know if ya'll think it's viable.

I wouldn't say multi classing is bad especially if you are doing it in order to qualify for a PrC. However I would say that arcane archer is bad.

Why do you have two dexterity scores?

I would presume he has a +2 dex item that the sheet doesn't show.

I'm more concerned as to why he's wearing two sets of armour, and why he's boosted his dex to a +6 bonus when one has a +4 max dex.

Armor depends on the situation. I dont know why i have two dex scores. Its what the program did. If I wasnt going arcane archer, what would you recommend for an archer type character. I personally thought that doing 12d6 +12 in a single round would be a good. But maybe I can do better. What do you suggest?

Do those saves look strange to anyone else? :smallconfused:

A little, but arcane archer has medium progression saves, too.

Nope. Don't do that. Unless you're getting the armor for free and it doesn't count against your wealth. No, no, no, no. :smalleek:

Maybe try this one instead, (http://www.pathguy.com/PathfinderCore.htm) and just add on the feats yourself that it doesn't have that you want. Though really, you'll be wanting to do it by hand at some point just for the familiarity.

Then it would be either 20/22 or 21/23, not 21/22. A +2 does not translate into a +1.

So I figured out that the duel numbers for the dex score are from my physical enhancement in transmuter.
