Hey, guys,

One of my players can't make it to a session so we were brainstorming about what to do with his character and one idea I had was that a faerie of some kind puts him to sleep. My question is what's the longest lasting sleep effect in Pathfinder?

For this I would go with a just long enough dm sleep spell. No real need for having all the raw line up.

Binding is designed for this sort of situation.

I believe that would be the grand hex Eternal Slumber, though I'm not sure whether it's really what you're going for

Eternal Slumber would be a bit harsh for just missing one session. Would the faerie actually fit in with the story? If not, why not use a more generic malady that doesn't need actual stats. Food poisoning would be a great way to incapacitate somebody for a day.
