Hey, guys,
I'm looking for advice on designing an unholy grimoire ala the necronomicon as the centerpiece artifact for a magic dry world. I have a couple of issues I was hoping you guys could help me with.
One issue I have is how to realistically make the book indestructible.
Two, I was thinking of having the book have different powers, and each one is activated only after ritually murdering someone. These "powers" get more potent the farther up you go. i.e. the first murder the user could maybe use a raise dead. All the way to the last power of maybe summoning Molech to perform one task for you. Does anyone have any suggestions for this? Is this idea too powerful?
